Актуальные вопросы изучения истории в инженерных вузах
The paper analyzes contemporary situation and problems related to teaching humanitarian subjects in technical institutions. The author explains that transfer to double-degree education has led to reducing of education to 4 years. New curricula reduce in-class learning on humanitarian subjects and exactly in learning history. Introducing of Unified State Examination enforces pupils to choose subjects to pass beforehand and it depends on their prospective professional preferences. It results in the fact that enrollees know history not enough. Subject “History” is included into educational standards as a component of national level; due to this, first-year students must know theory and methods of historic science, fundamental empirical material; get skills of research and analytical work; and understand the role and place of Russia in the modern world. The experience of post-soviet area shows that failures in teaching history or wrench of historic events are followed by difficult situation in the country and international affairs. Situation in Ukraine is an evident fact which proves that “History” as a subject shapes historic personality consciousness, its political and civilization preferences. When the Government saves money on teachers and teaching national history, it leads to negative situations and shocks. These and other relevant issues connected with teaching history in engineering institutions are discussed by the author
Условия трудоустройства бакалавров в Германии и России
The authors see the employment within the obtained specialty as one of the most important criteria used in the assessment of higher institution. Due to this fact, the authors observe the necessity in investigation this process as the changes in higher education cause the changes in professional activity after graduation. Germany is one of the leaders and initiators of Bologna Process and transition to the degree system of higher education. The experience of Germany is interesting and available for investigation. The criteria, determined by the German researchers, represent the views of employers, students and graduates. This allows considering the problem of employment in all aspects. The authors haven’t found the similar research with similar criteria in the national publications. The important data reviewing the opinions of employers, students and Bachelors are represented in the research of recruiting agency SuperJob, in the statistical report of Higher School of Economics of 2012 and online enquiry of the site "Anketer". The paper analyzes the research data of Russian and German scientists and highlights the measures on adaptation in the beginning of professional activity of Bachelors.Одним из важнейших критериев оценки вуза является доля трудоустроенных по специальности выпускников. В связи с этим возрастает потребность в исследовании условий этого процесса, так как изменения в системе высшего образования неизбежно влекут за собой перемены в начале трудовой деятельности выпускника вуза. Опыт Германии как одного из инициаторов Болонского процесса и перехода на многоуровневую систему высшего образования интересен и доступен для изучения. Критерии, определенные немецкими исследователями, представляют мнения работодателей, студентов и выпускников, что позволяет рассмотреть проблему трудоустройства во всех аспектах. В российских источниках нам не удалось найти аналогичного исследования с такими же критериями. Важные данные, учитывающие мнения работодателей, студентов и выпускников-бакалавров предоставлены в рамках исследований рекрутингового агентства SuperJob, статистического отчета Высшей Школы Экономики 2012 года, онлайн-опроса сайта «Анкетер». В результате анализа данных исследований российских и немецких ученых авторами статьи выявлены мероприятия по адаптации в начале профессиональной деятельности бакалавра
