To survive in economy innovations are essentials. Many entrepreneurs do not innovate but imitate and even though they earn handsome. Innovative attitudes may not be the property carrying by every entrepreneur. Not only but it might be the result of a multifold factors. So a research is conducted in Saurashtra region of Gujarat state. A sample of 209 entrepreneurs of various 7 prominent industries of Saurashtra have been selected and compared on the grounds of innovation. The study compares innovative attitude of entrepreneurs based on their educational qualifications and economic background. The results revealed that no significant difference is noticed among the various entrepreneurs of various industries based on innovation. They differed significantly while compared on the grounds of educational qualifications and economic backgrounds

A GENDER STUDY ON AGGRESSION AND EMOTIONAL INTELLIGENCE IN KASHMIR

Aggression is often categorized by hurtful and destructive behaviour towards others; it seems to oppose the empathetic nature of EI. In this study the objective was to study the role of emotional intelligence on adolescents and also a gender difference in emotional intelligence and aggression of adolescents. The aggression scale developed by D. Spielberger et al., State Trait Anger Expression Inventory (STAXI) (1983) was used to measure aggression and the emotional intelligence scale developed by Mangal S.K., Emotional Intelligence Inventory (MEI) (2004) was used to measure emotional intelligence of adolescents. Data was collected from 246 adolescents from various Colleges. The t-test was used and it was found that there exists a significant difference between the levels of emotional intelligences and aggression of adolescent girls as compared to adolescent boys. Boys were found to be more aggressive whereas girls were found to be more emotionally intelligent

The complete questionnaires have been gathered from the respondents for the data analysis and interpretations. On the source of complete questionnaire the data has been analyzed and tabulated using SPSS software. For data scrutiny percentage technique, has been adopted. Due to small number of space significant results findings have been specified in brief. The current work was carried out during January to march 2017. Hence the present survey is enclosed to randomly selected population of geographically; this study is limited to the higher educational institutions, which covered universities, professional colleges and degree colleges, in HK area. But the scope of the study was restricted to selected of higher educational institutions in HK region, which including the backward districts of Bidar, Gulbarga, Yadagiri, Raichur, Koppal and Bellary. The questionnaire was distributed to 115 faculties random samples, out of which 79 (68.69%) respondents have responded. The similarity study will be promoted for further study covering other higher educational institutions of HK region to get more generalized and genuine findings. The discovered of the present study might be taken as the foreword findings from a pilot study. The paper highlights the essential survey findings in respect of internet awareness, use of library users towards the e-resources, which have been made available to their library. After to this, some authentic attributes by the respondents have also been coated and few propositions and recommendations have also been specified in to the point
