    The Relationship between Level of Independence with Self-esteem among Older Adults in Serang Banten

    Aims: This research aims to see the influence of the level of independence in carrying out daily life activities on the level of self-esteem of older adults. Method: quantitative research with a cross-sectional design, sampling technique with total sampling, and a sample of 73 people. Data collection uses the Barthel Index and Rosenberg Self-Esteem guidelines via Google Forms. The research analysis is univariate to see an overview of the frequency distribution and proportions of variables. In contrast, bivariate analysis uses the Chi-Square test, which is used to determine the relationship between variables. Results: The research results show that 61.6% of older adults independently carry out daily activities, and 50.7% of older adults have high self-esteem. Moreover, there is a relationship between the level of independence in carrying out daily activities and the level of self-esteem in older adults elderly, with a p-value of 0.00. Conclusion: Older adults who are unable to carry out daily activities tend to experience low self-esteem. Therefore, nurses who provide services and assistance related to independence by optimizing the independence of older adults elderly and helping the older adults ly carry out activities that they are unable to do, as well as providing a safe environment for activities so that they can increase the older adults\u27 elderly\u27s self-esteem

    Trends in the Use of Digital Stethoscopes in Healthcare: A Bibliometric Analysis

    Aims: This study aims to review the scientific literature that has been conducted and published regarding the development of one of the medical devices, namely digital stethoscopes and look for novelty as a basis for conducting research. Methods: This research is a descriptive analysis with a bibliometric analysis approach. Searches for published articles were conducted in August 2023 on the Scopus and Pubmed databases through the Publish or Perish application from 2000-2023. Results: Of all the literature and publications that have been analyzed and mapped using VosViewer, the majority of studies found focus on discussing the use of digital stethoscopes in listening to and interpreting heart sounds compared to interpreting lung sounds. Conclusion: Based on the articles collected and processed in VosViewer, the results of this study, which can be used as a reference or basis for researchers, are about digital stethoscope innovations that focus on recording and interpreting lung sounds

    Effect of Range of Motion Exercise on Extremity Joint Muscle Strength in Ischemic Stroke Patients a Literature review

    Aims: Muscle strength and Range of Motion (ROM) are very important for ischemic stroke patients because they can prevent contractures, and increase the muscle strength of ischemic stroke patients. Range of motion (ROM) exercises in the upper extremities can increase muscle strength so that post-stroke patients can perform Activities of Daily Living independently. Objective: To know about the effect of the effectiveness of ROM with various methods to increase muscle strength and range of motion of joints. Method: Literature review to determine range of motion exercise on limb joint muscle strength in ischemic stroke patients with 5 articles with 4 data  search tools: PubMed, NCBI, Science Direct, and Proquest. The inclusion criteria were patients who had an ischemic stroke, randomized control trials, and the full text available in a literature review published in the last five years, i.e. 2018-2023, articles in English. Results: From the articles obtained, 556 articles were found  Research campresearch searched in accordance with creteria found 5 articles on the effect of range of motion exercise on muscle strength of the extremity joints in ischemic stroke patients.  Positive results were obtained from the benefits of muscle strength and ROM. Clinical evidence was obtained from five journals analyzed that there was an increase in strength and range of motion and there were differences in the results of the experimental group and the control group. Conclusion: The provision of ROM intervention techniques is proven to increase muscle strength and joint range of motion in ischemic stroke patients, so as to help patients in the process of maintaining muscle strength and joint range of motion. In the future, this activity can be done independently by patients at home

    Aims: This study was to determine the effect of social cohesion on community preparedness for tsunami disaster in Pasiripis Village, Surade Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency. Methods: This type of research is correlational with cross sectional approach. The population was all people in Pasiripis Village, Surade Sub-district, Sukabumi District and the sample was 160 people using purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. Data analysis used univariate analysis with frequency distribution table, bivariate analysis with simple linear regression, and multivariate analysis with multiple linear regression. Results: There is a significant influence of psychological sense of community, neighboring, and attraction on community preparedness in facing tsunami disaster (p < 0.05). There is a simultaneous influence of psychological sense of community, neighboring, and attraction on community preparedness in facing tsunami disasters (p < 0.05). Conclusion: There is an influence of psychological sense of community, neighboring, and attraction on community preparedness in facing tsunami disaster in Pasiripis Village, Surade Subdistrict, Sukabumi Regency.     Aims: This study was to determine the factors that influence the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers in Karang Tengah Urban Village, Sukabumi City. Methods: Correlational research with cross sectional approach. The study population was all postpartum mothers in Karang Tengah Urban Village, Sukabumi City and a sample of 30 people using purposive sampling technique. Results: There was an effect of social support, coping stress, socioeconomic status, and gender roles on the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum mothers (p < 0.05). There is a simultaneous influence of social support, coping stress, socioeconomic status, and gender roles on the incidence of postpartum blues in postpartum women (p < 0.05).     Customer Attitude Toward Smart Innovation Bed (SiNoBed) Application

    Aims : The purpose of this study is to examine and identify factors that influence customer attitudes towards and intention to use Smart Innovation Bed (SiNoBed). Methods : This type of research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. Total of 136 valid questionnaires was obtained through online means. The demographic profile of the respondents reflected a balanced representation, with 50% being male and female. mean age of the participants was calculated to be 28.45(SD= 5.778 ) and 57% of the respondents, identified themselves as individuals employed in the nursing profession. Results : The findings reveal a significant relationship, indicating that customers who express favorable opinions on attributes such as price, design, quality, and usability tend to show high purchase intentions towards SinoBed. In conclusion this study reveals a significantly positive customer attitude towards the purchase interest in Sinobed. Conclusions : The study highlights the positive customer attitude towards SinoBed, highlighting the importance of factors like competitive pricing, appealing design, quality, and usability in shaping purchase intentions

    The Effect of Yoga with Motivational Interviewing During Pregnancy on Physical Activity

    Aims: Physical activity is crucial for a healthy pregnancy, promoting physical and mental health. Pregnant women can reduce weight gain, low back pain, and high-risk pregnancies. Yoga is a structured exercise for increased physical activity. Motivational Interviewing (MI) can encourage safe physical activity behavior in pregnant women. Knowing the effect of Yoga with Motivational Interviewing on physical activity in pregnant women. Methods: This study used a quasi-experiment design, dividing 52 pregnant women into two groups: 26 intervention and 26 control groups. The intervention involved yoga and weekly physical activity, with data collected using the PPAQ. Results: The effect of providing Structured Exercise Training and Motivational Interviewing interventions on physical activity in pregnant women Wilcoxon Test with a p-value of 0.003 (significant <0.05) and the Mann-Whitney Test p-value 0.001 (significant <0.05) which means that the hypothesis is accepted. ANCOVA results in p-value 0.000. Conclusions: Research in obstetric clinics and community settings reveals the impact of yoga and MI on pregnant women. Structured exercise training and motivational interviewing can increase physical activity in pregnant women. The study suggests improving education and facilities for yoga in obstetric clinics and communities

    The Effect of Giving Green Spinach Juice on Hemoglobin Levels Among Pregnant Women

    Aims: Knowing the effect of giving Green Spinach Juice on Increasing Hemoglobin Levels in Pregnant Women. Methods : A quasi-experimental study design with one group pretest-posttest. In November 2023, 46 pregnant women had their pregnancy checks at PMB Nurida. The sample technique uses the purposive sampling technique. Results : Pregnant women\u27s average hemoglobin level was 9,104 mg/dl before ingesting spinach juice, and 10,770 mg/dl afterward. Giving green spinach juice has a significant effect on boosting hemoglobin levels in pregnant women (p value = 0.000). Conclusions: Increasing the amount of hemoglobin in pregnant women is one of the effects that can be brought about by giving them green spinach juice. For the purpose of preventing anemia during pregnancy, it is planned that midwives will provide counseling to pregnant women, encouraging them to consume vegetables and fruit on a daily basis, particularly those that contain a high amount of iron contents

    Aims: Nursing services require high performance, which can be influenced by factors such as work discipline and leadership style. The aim of this study was to analyze the effects of leadership style and work discipline on the performance of nurses at Bhayangkara Setukpa Lemdikpol Hospital in Sukabumi City. Methods: This study employed a correlational design with a cross-sectional approach. The population comprised executive nurses at Bhayangkara Setukpa Lemdikpol Hospital in Sukabumi City, with a sample size of 68 individuals selected through total sampling. Data collection was conducted using questionnaires, and the statistical analysis was performed using simple linear regression and multiple linear regression tests. Results: The results showed that there was a significant influence of leadership style (p=0.000) and work discipline (p=0.000) on the performance of executive nurses. And there is a simultaneous influence of leadership style and work discipline on the performance of executive nurses (p<0.05). Conclusion: The findings of this study indicate a simultaneous influence of leadership style and work discipline on the performance of executive nurses. To enhance performance, it is recommended that the hospital provide guidance and support in developing leadership skills and promoting work discipline among the nursing staff. Such initiatives could lead to improved outcomes in nursing services and overall hospital effectiveness

    The Effect of Digital Problem Solving Therapy on Quality of Life in Pregnant Women Who Are Victims of Domestic Violence

    Aim: This study aims to determine the effect of digital problem-solving therapy (DPST) on the quality of life (QOL) of pregnant women who are victims of domestic violence. Methods: The research was conducted using a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an intervention group receiving digital problem-solving therapy and a control group receiving standard care. The study took place over three months at the National Commission on Violence Against Women service centers and referral hospitals in Bekasi City, West Java. The intervention involved four sessions per month focusing on psychological well-being and QOL. A total of 100 pregnant women participated, meeting the criteria of being over three months pregnant, having experienced domestic violence, owning a smartphone, and living with their husbands. Results: The results showed a statistically significant increase in QOL scores within the intervention group after the therapy, with a t-score of 13.76 and a p-value of 0.001. Additionally, the intervention group exhibited a larger improvement in QOL at post-test compared to the control group (ß = 8.20, p < 0.001). Conclusion: Digital problem-solving therapy significantly improves the quality of life of pregnant women experiencing domestic violence. Future studies should explore the effectiveness of this intervention among more diverse research groups, focusing on participants with varied mental health and psychological characteristics
