The project displays videos for exercise, and the preparation of healthy eating, determine the nearest sports clubs and health restaurants through Google Map, and calculates calories either acquired or burned also shows scale for the shape of user body. This project is developed using two methodologies they are Prototyping model and Spiral. This research aims to define and clarify the conceptual framework of the corporate social responsibility and clarifying the concept and motvations of social responsibility disclosure, as well as the methods of disclosure of social responsibility and their reflection on the financial reports. Also it presented literature review discussing disclosure. To achieve the research objectives the study used descriptive analytical approach. So the researcher has conducted empirical study including listed companies in Palestine Stock Market, through the financial published reports by those companies for the period from 2012 to 2014. The main founding of the study was a significant effect between the level and quality of the disclosure of social responsibility and intellectual capital in the Palestinian Companies

ملخص الدراسة
تهدف الدراسة إلى تحديد وتوضيح الإطار المفاهيمي للمسئولية الاجتماعية لشركات الأعمال وتوضيح مفهوم ودوافع الإفصاح عن المسئولية الاجتماعية، بالإضافة إلى بيان طرق الإفصاح عن المسئولية الاجتماعية وانعكاس ذلك على التقارير المالية. كما تهدف الدراسة إلى استعراض الدراسات والابحاث التي تناولت موضوع الإفصاح؛ وذلك بهدف البناء عليها واستخدام النظريات والمقاييس التي طورتها؛ وذلك للاعتماد عليها في قياس مستوى وجودة الإفصاح عن المسئولية الاجتماعية، كما تم استعراض الدراسات والابحاث الاكاديمية التي تعمقت في دراسة رأس المال الفكري ومكوناته وطرق قياسه، وذلك لتوضيح الإطار المفاهيمي لرأس المال الفكري وطرق قياس مكوناته. ولتحقيق اهداف الدراسة واختبار فرضياتها تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي واجراء دراسة عملية على الشركات المساهمة العامة الفلسطينية المدرجة في سوق فلسطين للأوراق المالية، وذلك من خلال القوائم المالية السنوية المنشورة لتلك الشركات للفترة من 2012 إلى 2014 ، حيث خلصت نتائج الدراسة العملية لوجود علاقة طردية بين مستوى وجودة الإفصاح عن المسئولية الاجتماعية ورأس المال الفكري للشركات المساهمة العامة الفلسطينية .

No full textأثر الإفصاح عن تكاليف المسؤولية الاجتماعية على الأداء المالي للمؤسسات الإعلامية الفلسطينيةThe social responsibility has a great role according on the welfare of society as a whole, due to the great importance of the financial performance of all institutions، and the significance of the media organizations' role in the community. The research aims to find out effects of the disclosure of costs of social responsibility on the financial performance of the Palestinian media institutions. The researcher used descriptive methodology analytical through a field study in which 54 questionnaire; on every unit of the population of the study, which is called the inclusive inventory, were distributed to 54 media organizations in Gaza Strip. The responses were obtained on (50)questionnaire which are valid for analysis, a sufficient number to conduct the analysis and comparison.
The researcher finds out the presence of the impact of disclosure of costs of social responsibility with its three sections-towards society, towards public, and towards the environment-on the financial performance of media organizations, except for the disclosure of costs of social responsibility towards the employees that was very weak, so it was neglected. Moreover, the hypothesis was confirmed which states that "there are no statistical significant differences between the averages of responses of the respondents about the disclosure of costs of social responsibility differences attributed to the general data."
The researcher recommends to pay attention to disclosure of the costs of social responsibility towards the employees,and to reinforce the disclosure of the costs of social responsibility towards the environment.

The impact of the democratic leadership style on employees’s professional growth in banks in Palestine: A Comparative Study on commercial and Islamic banks
Get PDFهدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف إلى أثر نمط القيادة الديمقراطي على النمو المهني لدى الموظفين في البنوك في فلسطين دراسة مقارنة على البنوك التجارية والاسلامية ، ولتحقيق ذلك تم بناء وتقييم أداة الدراسة وبعد توزيعها وجمعها تم إدخالها إلى الحاسوب ومعالجتها إحصائياً، كما تم اختيار عينة طبقية عشوائية، وقد بلغ حجم العينة (124) من الموظفين العاملين في البنوك الاسلامية والتجارية في فلسطين وبنسبة مئوية بلغت (50%) والتي شكلت العينة النهائية للدراسة.
ويتضح من خلال نتائج الدراسة بأن درجة ممارسة النمط الديمقراطي في البنوك في فلسطين كانت مرتفعة بشكل عام أما من حيث الدرجة الكلية للنمو المهني، فهي كانت مرتفعة من وجهات نظر المستجيبين، كما يتضح من نتائج الدراسة وجود علاقة ارتباطيه موجبة بين النمط الديمقراطي والنمو المهني وهذه العلاقة دالة إحصائياً لأن قيمة sig = (0.01) وهي أقل من 0.05، وفي ضوء ما أوردته الدراسة من نتائج، تم تقديم مجموعة من التوصيات من بينها ما يلي:
1. يجب أن تطور الادارة نماذج وأساليب خاصة تسهم في تطوير النمو المهني للموظفين، بحيث تركز على أهمية تدريب وتأهيل الموظفين قبل وأثناء الخدمة.
2. ضرورة تشجيع النمط الديمقراطي الذي يشجع العلاقات الإنسانية بين الموظف والادارة، مثل مشاركة الادارة الموظفين في المناسبات الإجتماعية.This study aimed to identify the impact of the democratic leadership style on employees’ professional growth in banks in Palestine a comparative study on commercial and Islamic banks, to achieve the study objectives, the researcher constructed a questionnaire to collect the study data, the study instrument was conducted on a stratified random sample of employees, the total sample size (124) of employees in Islamic and commercial banks in Palestine with (50%), which formed the final sample for the study. It is clear from the study results that the degree of exercise of democratic style in banks in Palestine was generally high, and In terms of the total score for professional growth, it was high from the views of respondents, where the ratio was at sign (80.84) As it is clear from the results of the study and there is a positive correlation between democratic style and professional growth and this relationship is statistically significant because the value of sig = (0.01) which is less than 0.05, and in the light of the reported study results were presented a set of recommendations, including the following:
Must develop management models and special methods contribute to the development of professional growth for employees, focusing on the importance of training and qualification of staff before and during the service.
The need to promote democratic style that encourages human relations between the employee and the administration, such as the participation of the administration staff at social events

Get PDFهدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد مستوى الإفصاح عن عناصر محاسبة الاستدامة في الشركات المساهمة العامة المدرجة في بورصة فلسطين لعام 2015، والبالغ عددها 45 شركة، كما تهدف إلى دراسة العلاقة بين مستوى الإفصاح عن أبعاد محاسبة الاستدامة وبعض خصائص الشركات، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم بناء مؤشر لقياس مستوى الإفصاح عن عناصر محاسبة الاستدامة في التقارير السنوية للشركات، ومن تقارير الاستدامة المستقلة المنشورة عبر المواقع الالكترونية لهذه الشركات.
توصلت الدراسة إلى تباين مستوى الإفصاح عن عناصر محاسبة الاستدامة بين القطاعات الاقتصادية محل الدراسة، كما أن مستوى الإفصاح بالمتوسط لم تتجاوز 70%، بينما تصدر القطاع المصرفي والخدمات المالية من بين القطاعات الخمسة، حيث بلغت نسبة الإفصاح عن عناصر محاسبة الاستدامة 91%.
كما بينت الدراسة إلى أن هناك علاقة إيجابية بين مستوى الإفصاح عن عناصر محاسبة الاستدامة وحجم الشركة، في حين توصلت الدراسة إلى وجود علاقة عكسية بين مستوى الإفصاح وعمر الشركة، كما كشفت الدراسة عن وجود فروق في مستوى الإفصاح عن أبعاد محاسبة الاستدامة للشركات تبعا للقطاع الاقتصادي.
الكلمات الدالة: درجة الإفصاح، محاسبة الاستدامة، عناصر محاسبة الاستدامة.This study aims to determine the level of disclosure of accounting sustainability elements by Palestinians public shareholding companies listed on the Palestine’s securities exchange in 2015, which are 49 companies, it also aims to study the relationship between the level disclosure of sustainability accounting elements and some characteristics of companies.
In order to achieve the study objectives, an indicator of sustainability accounting elements was built to measure the disclosure level of sustainability accounting elements in annual reports or sustainability reports which companies have websites.
This study has found variations in disclosing elements of sustainability accounting among financial sectors under study. The average rate didn't exceed 70% as well, while the Banking sector and financial services took the lead among the five sectors in the disclosure of sustainability accounting, where the disclosure rate reached 91%.
The study has shown a positive link between the level of disclosure accounting sustainability elements and the total company assets .However; adverse relationships were found between the level of disclosure of accounting sustainability elements and the age of companies. Also there were statically significant variations in the disclosure level of accounting sustainability elements attributable to economic sector
مظاهر التطرف الديني لدى طلبة المدارس الثانوية من وجهة نظر معلميهم في محافظات غزة
Get PDFهدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة تقدير معلمي المرحلة الثانوية لمظاهر التطرف الديني لدى طلبتهم، والكشف عما إذا كان هناك فروق دالة إحصائيا بين تقديرات أفراد العينة لهذه المظاهر تعزى إلى المتغيرات (النوع، سنوات الخدمة، الانتماء الحزبي) . ولتحقيق ذلك استخدم الباحثان المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، بتطبيق استبانة مكونة من(32) عبارة موزعة على ثلاثة مجالات (الغلو، التقليد والتعصب، الابتعاد عن الوسطية)، على عينة عشوائية بلغ عددها (484) معلماً ومعلمة. وكانت نتائج الدراسة :
أن الدرجة الكلية لتقدير معلمي المرحلة الثانوية لمظاهر التطرف الديني لدى طلبتهم قد حصلت على متوسط حسابي قدره (2.29) بوزن نسبي (45.80%) بدرجة موافقة(قليلة) وجاء مجال التقليد والتعصب في المرتبة الأولى ثم مجال الابتعاد عن الوسطية ثم مجال الغلو.
توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية عند مستوى الدلالة ( ) بين متوسطات درجات تقدير أفراد العينة لمظاهر التطرف الديني لدى طلبتهم تُعزى إلى متغير النوع لصالح المعلمين الذكور بينما لا توجد فروق تُعزى إلى متغيرات (سنوات الخدمة، الانتماء السياسي).
وفي ضوء النتائج أوصت الدراسة بتضمين منهج التربية الإسلامية، والأنشطة الطلابية لأبواب تتعلق بقضايا التطرف الديني وأشكاله المختلفة وبيان خطورته على الفرد والمجتمع.The study aimed to identify the degree of appreciation secondary school teachers to manifestations of religious extremism among their students, and detecting whether there were statistically significant differences between the sample estimates of these manifestations attributable to the variables (gender, years of service, party affiliation) . To achieve this, the researchers used the analytical descriptive approach, applying a questionnaire consisting of 32 items distributed among three areas (hyperbole, tradition and intolerance, to get away from the average), on a random sample numbered 484 teachers.The results of the study include:
1. The total score for estimating the secondary school teachers to manifestations of religious extremism among their students have got the arithmetic average of (2.29) with a relative weight (45.80%) degree of approval of the (few) The field of tradition and intolerance in the first place and then the area to stay away from moderation and field hyperbole.
2. There are statistically significant differences at ( ) between the mean scores of estimation respondents to manifestations of religious extremism among their students due to the variable of gender in favor of male teachers, while there are no differences due to the variables (years of service , political affiliation).
In light of the results the study recommended the inclusion of Islamic education curriculum , student activities for the doors on issues of religious extremism and the various forms and severity of a statement on the individual and society

Get PDFRewards systems at the organizational level and execution of projects in the construction industry in Gaza stripManaging knowledge efficiently and effectively is considered a core competence for organizations to survive in the long run, so incentives play an important role in influencing of performance of employees , not available and not distributed equitably of incentives may be reflected directly on the performance of employees .
This research aims to contribute to enhance the performance of construction industry through investigating rewards systems in contracting construction companies in Gaza strip, measure the effectiveness applying reward system, determine the challenges for applying different reward system.
Data was gathered from employee in contracting companies by using questionnaire survey to assess the importance of applying rewards systems in contracting companies, to fulfill these objectives, research was carried in to two stages: literature review and questionnaire survey. A total number of 103 questionnaire have been completed. And after making analysis using statistical package for the social sciences program (SPSS).
The result confirm that Most of the contracting companies have a comprehensive knowledge of positive and negative rewards systems and most of these companies are used both of rewards system, the study also proved the effectiveness of incentive systems in the contracting companies operating in the Gaza strip turned out that the use of incentives lead to (raise the level of performance, increase productivity, increase performance speed of doing business, increase positive competition between the work crews, access to quality in the work done and compliance with specifications, application of safety factors at work), and there are many obstacles facing the application of rewards systems in general contracting firms in the Gaza strip, majority of companies agreed that most these obstacles are (surrounding political circumstances, not to include incentives in the company's budget, the difficult economic conditions, misuse of powers in the distribution of incentives). And at the end asset of recommendation was made to encourage the firms to apply rewards systems. For example, work to strengthen the rewards system and make it more visible to staff and a more transparent and fair, including the incentives in the company's budget, and providing workshops for engineering companies to illustrate the importance of incentives in the performance of work.Supervised by :

production and promoting economic growth. Consequently, access to affordable and reliable energy services is
fundamental to achieving such goals.Energy is the silver cord that delivers the needed nutrients to enrich the nerve of economy, social equity and
environment. Worldwide, the growth of energy use is mainly driven by the expansion of population. Especially
in the developing countries, a challenge is not simply to secure enough energy to meet demand, but also to
minimize environmental impacts. In essence, renewable energy sources have become a topic of interest within
the research community.
Every energy source has an impact on the environment; either positive or negative. While, debates over the
advantages and disadvantages of various energy sources continues, it is agreed that renewable energy offers
significant environmental benefits when compared to conventional ones. A case study of an egg carton
manufacturing factory located in the Gaza Strip is presented in this paper. To establish a sustainable energy
plan, this study documents a reduction in electric energy demand of such factory through optimization, as well
as energy production by addressing a result of a pilot study; where an Anaerobic Digester was utilized to
evaluate the energy potential associated with a composition of wastewater and solid waste. Finally, results

and Construction Company in Gaza StripDuring rapidly changing phenomenon in various spheres of life in the Gaza Strip, the construction companies have become more vulnerable to sudden changes, and even continue to survive and prosper and succeed, you must not sit and control the circumstances of the fate of the company, so it has become necessary for companies today to seek and plan to manage the change process and do measure the impact of change on the company and benefit from it in the interests and objectives of the company. the process of change Lead to a break in the routine work of the employees, it is normal to face opposite reactions, here have managers organize change process encourages employees who lead the company to improve continuous development.
This research’s goal is to show importance of change to face engineering company’s challenges in Gaza strip, and discover all reasons behind facing change management and get over it. Furthermore, do the measuring impact for individuals to the Change Management process.
This study is based on three major levels; the first thing is revising all previous studies in the related subject, then collect data through giving surveys and doing felid search, and the last thing was to do statistical analysis and data’s scientific discussion. There are 120 companies respond to and the statistical analysis has been made using SPSS program.
Statistical analysis showed that most of companies has enough attention to change and improve their company’s ability to compete in the construction field, but they are not hiring expert consultants to do this mission. As the result show that war, siege and political matters are the most basic reasons for the change process. It also shows that the employee’s obligation for this change is their regular routine for doing their job, on the other hand, the company is forcing them to change the way they work even if it forced to give the X for some of them. This study revealed a way for the company to explain the definition of change and how important it is for its employees using motivation and increasing salaries and it was positive. At the end, a lot of recommendation were set to improve the change process and also keep the company moving forward in the construction field and overcome changing resistance in an effecting way.University of Palestine
