Tourism and the world heritage : about the Shirakami-Sanchi
The Shirakami-Sanchi is a 130,000ha mountainous region straddling the Aomori-Akita Prefecture border. It is one of the world’s largest remaining virgin beech forests, and home for rare flora and fauna including the woodpecker (National Natural Monument) and the golden eagle. For the highly valuable ecosystem, the Shirakami-Sanchi was registered as the World Natural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1993.
Today many tourists visit the World Natural Heritage site in Japan. So, some troubles, socalled tourism pollution, occur there. Also the Shirakami-Sanchi will be struck by same troubles: for example noise, traffic jam and a lot of trash. Anmon-Falls and Jyuniko (12 lakes and ponds) are already overflowing with so-called mass-tourists. On the other side, not so many tourists visit Beech Forest Park in Happo-cho or Gakudai Nature Observation Woods in Fujisato-cho. Therefore we shouldn’t consider the Shirakami Sanchi in general as a simple object of tourism. One destination is for mass tourism, another is for small tourism. We must begin to recognize this distinction.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
Knowledge sharing and small and medium enterprises in manufacturing iudustry : a questionnaire survey on the documentation and digitization of technical knowledge
application/pdf論文(Article)One of the most important tasks of the small and medium enterprises (SMEs) is to share its
employee's personal knowledge and skills for the product development and manufacturing process within their organization. The main purpose of the knowledge sharing is to increase the efficiency of total production process from the reception of an order to the delivery of products, thus to improve the response of the designing and manufacturing to their customer's demands.
Recently in manufacturing industries, the information and communication technology (ICT) is rapidly diffusing in the area of the knowledge sharing or the learning assistance for workers and some prominent SMEs are known to have a great success in this field. But it is not so clear in existing researches how the other "ordinary" factories bring ICT into use in sharing their
technical knowledge. In this paper, we will report the result of a questionnaire survey on how degree "average" factories introduce ICT to knowledge sharing, focusing on the documentation and sharing process of technical information and knowledge within their organization. The analysis of the survey shows that the firms that have parts-manufacturing or assembling process tend to organize the documentation routines of technical knowledge explicitly, but the tendency to have such knowledge as digital information is strengthened when the firm has the design and development processes. It is also suggested that the pattern of the documentation and the digitization of technical knowledge depends on the firm's technological field. This may reflect the fact that the difficulties and the needs for making technological knowledge explicit is different among different technological fields, and that the relationship between the manufacturing process and the development
process is also different among technological fields.departmental bulletin pape
A study of staff members' expertise in providing day service for children : challenges for improving staff expertise based on their career and nature of employment

The research targets were 121 staff members of a day service for children in prefecture A, and they were divided into eight groups. Then, factor analysis was applied to 25 items of self-evaluation based on specialty, and eight factors were extracted. Differences between the groups in the self-evaluation of specialty were compared and analyzed. The results demonstrated that three factors did not differ significantly among the groups, while the remaining five factors revealed a significant difference. Based on the results, the staff members were classified into three stages of their careers, "a group of beginners," "a group of present″ and “a group of leaders,” and their issues were established respectively. While for the group of beginners, the content was set according to their common issues and characteristics, characteristics, for the group of present and the group of leaders, it was set according to their common issues and respective employment. The efforts required for quality improvement of expertise were also considered.departmental bulletin pape
A Study on Therapeutic Recreation Practices Aiming to Children with Autism.
The results of comparison between Henning, J., et al. (1982) and Coyne, P., et.al. (2004) are following: common features are (l) to grasp well the nature of autism which is hard to cope with, (2) to be based on their character of learning, (3) to conduct assessment, (4) to establish lead-up activities and process of instruction, (5) to use the advantage of leisure education which is emphasize on "fun* at both strarting point and process, (6) to accommodate the environmental elements as noise, (7) to educate such one of the radical humanskills as choice skill, and (8) to establish independenceas final goal.
The rest problem of both of them is not to be seen the outcome to facilitate the transaction between children with autism and children without disabilities. It is considered to be limitation that facilitators of the programs are adults.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
