The convergence of these technologies surely attracts innovation that will create further advancements in various industry verticals and other technologies such as robotics and virtual reality. Unemployment and education in an overlapping-generations economic growth model
Get PDFapplication/pdfWe introduce labor unions and unemployment into an overlapping-generations model with endogenous fertility and endogenous growth and consider the cost of time spent child-rearing. A tax subsidy for education has no effect on fertility and the existence of a threshold at which the growth rate is maximized owing to unemployment and the funding of education is financed through income tax. The threshold is lower than those in previous studies because this model incorporates unemployment, whereas previous research assumes full employment. The ineffectiveness of education tax against fertility may arise as the cost of time spent child-rearing is a constant.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape

第一審は保険者の免責を認めたが、控訴審では、保険者に対し、1億円と遅延損害金の支払いを命じた。

A study on health of the elderly and the state of social capital in a large-scale disaster : a case study of Mashiki Town P area in Kumamoto Earthquake
Get PDFapplication/pdf本研究は､大規模災害によって生じた健康被害について､地域に存在するソーシャル・キャピタル（以下、SCとする）がどのように機能し、住民（特に高齢者）の健康に寄与したかについて検証したものである。2016年の熊本地震において甚大な被害の発生した熊本県上益城郡益城町P地区において、フィールドワークや被災した高齢者が作った互助サークルメンバーに対するグループインタビューを行った。分析の結果､①被災後の健康状態悪化､②被災直後におけるSCの素地を基盤とした互助、③SCの素地となった地区活動や宮ごもり、④良質なSCへと発展するグループ活動､⑤受容的かつ自由な雰囲気が生み出す好循環、⑥グループの利益を地域の利益へつなげる、といった事項について整理・集約された。P地区では「SCの素地」によって良質なSCが育まれ､展開がなされていた。一時的に低下した高齢者の健康状態であったが､良質なSCが生み出した精神的安定や生きがいよって補完され、活発な互助活動が展開されている好循環が明らかになった。This study examines how the social capital (SC) existing in the area contributed to the health of the residents (Especially the elderly) with respect to the health damage caused by a large-scale disaster. We conducted fieldwork in the P district of Mashiki Town, Kamimashiki District, Kumamoto Prefecture, where the Kumamoto Earthquake caused a great deal of damage, and conducted a group interview with the Mutual support Circle members made by the affected elderly people. As a result of the analysis, the following six points were arranged. (1) Health condition deteriorates after the disaster, (2) Mutual support based on the SC foundation immediately after the disaster, (3) District activities and "Miyagomori" that became the foundation of SC, (4) Group activities that develop into high-quality SC, (5) A virtuous cycle created by an inclusive and free atmosphere, (6) Connecting group profits to local profits. In the P area, a high-quality SC was created and developed by the "SC foundation". Although the health condition of the elderly had declined temporarily, a virtuous cycle was revealed in which active mutual support activities were carried out, complemented by the mental stability and purpose of life produced by high-quality SC.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape

A Comparative and a Syntactic Analysis of Richard Strauss's Lied Leise Lieder and That of Max Reger
Get PDFapplication/pdfSince Max Reger composed 14 songs using the same poems from Richard Strauss's pieces, several comparative analyses of their songs have been made. Some of them have considered how conscious Reger was of Strauss's works, reaching the conclusion that Reger's songs were based on a "rivalry" or an "intentional opposing concept" vis-à-vis Strauss. However, in order to understand the techniques of individual compositions, after comparative analysis one must also syntactically analyze each song, focusing on the relevance of all literary and musical elements to each other. Here, through the comparative and syntactic analysis of both composers' Leise Lieder, two main points are considered in this article: how conscious Reger was of Strauss's work, and what the original compositional concepts of each composer were. Both composers emphasized the last line of the last stanza of the poem, but while Strauss used the harmonic as the mainstay of his piece, Reger used a common ending for each phrase in the vocal part. The results clarify that while Reger superficially feigned to challenge Strauss, in fact he carefully constructed a very different song with his own original, unique concepts, focusing on the end phrase patterns in the vocal part.リヒャルト・シュトラウスとマックス・レーガーの歌曲には，テクストが共通するものが14曲も存在するため，それらに関する比較分析の数は少なくない。そのほとんどは，レーガーがシュトラウスの作品をどの程度意識して作曲したのかを考察しており，レーガーの作品にはシュトラウスに対する「対抗意識」あるいは「意図的な相対するコンセプト」が根底にあると結論づけているものもある。しかしながら、個々の作品に特有の作曲手法を理解するためには比較分析のみでは不十分で，各々の歌曲における文学的要素と音楽的要素の関連性に焦点を当てた統辞論的分析も行われて然るべきであろう。したがって本論文では両作曲家の歌曲〈ひそやかな歌〉の比較および統辞論的分析を行い，レーガーはシュトラウスの作品をどの程度意識しているのか，各々の作曲家に独自の作曲コンセプトは何か，の二点について考察した。その結果，両者とも詩の最終詩行を音楽的に強調している点では共通しているが，シュトラウスは聴き手の期待を裏切る和声進行を作品の主軸としているのに対し，レーガーは歌唱声部の各フレーズ末に置いた音形の共通性とその差異に焦点を当てていることが明らかとなった。以上のことから，レーガーの〈ひそやかな歌〉は，表面的にはシュトラウスの楽曲構造を意識しているように見えるが，実際にはシュトラウスとは全く異なる独創的なコンセプトに基づいて創作されているといえよう。論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape
