A new age of hot spring II
Get PDFMany lovers of hot spring came to take its quality into consideration before traveling to a spa. They want to avoid the hot spring provided by a filtration‐circulation method, and to go to the spa with a pure hot spring. But, as for the hot spring inns recorded in the pamphlet of the travel agency, most of them adopt a filtration-circulation method. It is that these inns have a lot of rooms while the output of hot spring is a little.
The hot spring inns are divided into a small scale inn where joins “Japan Association that defends a secret hot spring”, and a large scale inn for mass tourists. The possibility has arisen respectively in either in the two types of hot spring inns.論文(Article)departmental bulletin pape

A new age of hot spring
Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to clarify the diverse use of spas. In fact, the use of spas is divided into hot spring cure (so called “Toji” in Japanese), rest for health care intention, leisure and so on. Toji is local culture, especially in Tohoku District. Hot spring as leisure is a part of tourism. Often in Japan, some spas were changed from a Toji place to a tourist spa. Recently people took notice of the quality of each hot spring, because over 300 persons were infected with Legionnaires’ disease in 2002, and after that, fake hot spring affair followed. Today a lover of hot spring likes to go to a genuine spa, while a group- tourist likes to stay at a large-scale Ryokan in a tourist spa. But, generally speaking, people are very sensitive to the quality of hot spring. The guidebook specialized in spas has been changed since 2000, that is, the information about spas has been written in detail. Town planning and the revitalization of Otaru City center
Get PDFOtaru City in Hokkaido has become famous as a city for its old canal. Otaru citizens have preserved the canal, despite the City Council’s plan to reclaim it. As a result of overturning the City Council’s plan, and keeping the canal, the city was able to revitalize the tourism-based urban planning. This case reveals it is important for citizens to take part in town planning.
Similar to other cities in Japan, Otaru City could not avoid the decline and hollowing out of its city center. City centers and central shopping streets have been encroached by the suburban large-scale retail stores. China's banking sector Reform from corporate governance perspectives
Get PDFFirm corporate governance issues in China have been extensively studied since the early 1990s while corporate governance issues in Chinese banks have been ignored. To assist in filling in this gap, by using the corporate governance conceptual framework of firms, this paper carefully examines the governance problems that continue to plague the Chinese banking sector and then argues that state ownership or state concentrated ownership of Chinese banks may be the primary factor contributing to ineffective corporate governance in the Chinese banking sector.
