Corporate Social Responsibility in SMEs: an approach to a model based on expert judgment
Full text linkCorporate social responsibility as an organizational management style with multiple benefits, an organizational strategy that contributes to the well-being of society, by achieving a positive impact between the company and stakeholders, creating value and improving the quality of life of those interrelated. However, the form of measurement has not been agreed among researchers. In this sense, this non-experimental cross-sectional research framed within the interpretative research paradigm, identified the factors of the aforementioned responsibility in small and medium-sized enterprises, with the qualitative/quantitative analysis of experts, and the theoretical model of CSR adapted to the context was established. Six fundamental factors were identified: social ecosystem, fair operating practices, economic impact, social security, internal processes and customers. Corporate social responsibility is adapted to the peculiarities of the context.Responsabilidad social empresarial como estilo de gestión organizacional con múltiples beneficios, una estrategia organizacional que contribuye al bienestar de la sociedad, al lograr impacto positivo entre la compañía y grupos de interés, crear valor y mejorar la calidad de vida de los interrelacionados. Sin embargo, la forma de medición no ha tiene consenso entre los investigadores. En este sentido, esta investigación no experimental del tipo transversal enmarcada dentro del paradigma investigativo interpretativo, se identifican los factores de la referida responsabilidad en pequeña y mediana empresa, con el análisis cualitativo/cuantitativo de expertos, y se establece el modelo teórico de RSE adaptado al contexto. Se identificaron seis factores fundamentales: ecosistema social, practicas justas de operación, impacto económico, seguridad social, procesos internos y clientes. Sociocultural factors influencing compliance with the inmunization schedule in pediatric populations
Full text linkOver the years, a decline in vaccination coverage has been observed, leading to various consequences for public health. Public uncertainty regarding the necessity of vaccines, distrust of potential adverse events, the spread of misinformation, and certain philosophical and religious beliefs have all contributed to growing doubts about the importance of immunization. The objective of this study was to identify the sociocultural factors that influence adherence to the immunization schedule in pediatric populations. Among the main factors contributing to vaccine hesitancy are family economic difficulties, low parental education levels, cultural and religious beliefs, personal and political attitudes, and fear of possible side effects, among others. Therefore, immunization program administrators and healthcare personnel must be trained to effectively recognize and address vaccine-related concerns in order to achieve greater acceptance and adherence to vaccination schedules.A lo largo de los años se ha evidenciado una disminución de la cobertura vacunal, lo que ha traído consigo diversas consecuencias en la salud pública. La incertidumbre de la población respecto de la necesidad de las vacunas, la desconfianza ante posibles eventos adversos, la difusión de información errónea, así como ciertas creencias filosóficas y religiosas, han contribuido a generar dudas sobre la importancia de la inmunización. El presente estudio se planteó como objetivo identificar los factores socioculturales que influyen en el cumplimiento del esquema de vacunación en poblaciones pediátricas. Entre los principales factores que pueden llevar al rechazo de la vacunación se encuentran las dificultades económicas familiares, el bajo nivel educativo de los padres, creencias culturales y religiosas, actitudes personales y políticas, el miedo a posibles efectos secundarios, entre otros. Por ello, los administradores de los programas de inmunización y el personal de salud deben capacitarse para reconocer y abordar eficazmente las dudas sobre la vacunación, con el fin de lograr una mayor aceptación y adherencia a los esquemas de vacunación
Evidence of content validity: Scale of stigma and discrimination for living with HIV
No full textReducir el estigma y discriminación por vivir con VIH, es pieza clave para mejorar la calidad de vida, controlar los casos de infección y reinfección. Se requiere contar con escalas que permitan evaluarlo considerando el contexto de las personas. El objetivo de la presente investigación fue exponer evidencias de validez de contenido de una escala para evaluar el autoestigma, estigma y discriminación a partir del jueceo de expertos. Participaron cinco jueces con expertis en el área, quienes valoraron cada uno de los ítems, considerando su claridad, coherencia y relevancia, así como la suficiencia para cada una de las secciones. Se obtuvo la V de Aiken a partir de las respuestas de los jueces y se eliminaron los reactivos que tuvieran menos de .83 en alguna de las dimensiones, se descartaron tres para la sección de autoestigma y 10 para la segunda sección. Los resultados se discuten en términos de la importancia de que los instrumentos cuenten con diferentes evidencias de validez que permitan evaluar constructo adecuadamenteReducing stigma and discrimination for living with HIV is key to improving the quality of life and controlling cases of infection and reinfection. The objective of the present study is to provide evidence of content validity for a scale designed to evaluate self-stigma, stigma, and discrimination, based on expert judgment. Five judges with expertise in the field participated, assessing each item in terms of clarity, coherence, and relevance, as well as sufficiency for each section. Aiken\u27s V was calculated based on the judges\u27 responses, and items scoring less than 0.83 in any dimension were removed; three items were discarded from the self-stigma section and ten from the second section. Women\u27s participation in the presidency of Rural Parochial Governments in Ecuador between 2009 and 2023
No full textThe purpose of this article is to include in the academic and public discussion the participation of women in the representative democracy of the autonomous decentralized rural parochial governments (GADPR) in Ecuador in the periods 2009, 2014, 2019 and 2023 corresponding to the sectional elections since the validity of the Constitution of the Republic of Ecuador (2008). To do this, a situation analysis is carried out that includes a chronology of milestones in the announced temporality, where the binding legislation and electoral events are noted to determine the materiality of the application of the formal norm. In addition, a quantitative presentation of the number of female presidents by province and at the national level is included, after an exhaustive documentary review. Among the main findings, it is identified that for the 2023 sectional elections, there is a growing trend compared to 2009.
However, the national average shows that for the current period (2023 - 2027) only 22% of a total of 825 GADPR are led by women.El presente artículo tiene como finalidad incluir en la discusión académica y pública la participación de las mujeres en la democracia representativa de los Gobiernos autónomos descentralizados parroquiales rurales (GADPR) en Ecuador en los periodos 2009, 2014, 2019 y 2023 correspondientes a las elecciones seccionales desde la vigencia de la Constitución de la República del Ecuador (2008). Para ello se realiza un análisis de coyuntura que incluye una cronología de hitos en la temporalidad anunciada, donde se anota la legislación vinculante y los acontecimientos electorales para determinar la materialidad de la aplicación de la norma formal.
Además, se incluye la exposición cuantitativa del número de presidentas por provincia y a nivel nacional, tras una revisión exhaustiva revisión documental. Entre los principales hallazgos se identifica que para las elecciones seccionales 2023, existe una tendencia en crecimiento respecto al 2009. Sin embargo, el promedio a nivel nacional, da cuenta que para el periodo vigente (2023 - 2027) apenas el 22% de un total de 825 GADPR son liderados por mujeres
Mensajes universales de trabajo y actividad para el hombre moderno desde la perspectiva de la lógica de Attar
Full text linkUnemployment is one of the biggest economic, cultural and social problems of today\u27s society. Using the descriptive-analytical method, this research intends to deal with the work and activity from Attar Neishabouri\u27s point of view. It is assumed that modern man can overcome his problems by following Attar\u27s educational guidelines. In previous researches, Attar\u27s works have often been discussed from a mystical point of view. The most important goal of this research is to find effective messages for the change and transformation of today\u27s youth towards unemployment. The result of the study shows that from Attar\u27s point of view, man should work as long as he lives in this world and has the strength and ability to work. A moment of life with work and effort is worth as much as a hundred worlds. Attar believes that success and openness in life depend on working with sincerity and honesty, courage and good morals. He believes that a person should do everything completely in order to finally achieve his goal. Nature can be a role model for humans to learn from and work and strive by enduring hardships.El desempleo es uno de los mayores problemas económicos, culturales y sociales de la sociedad actual. Utilizando el método descriptivo-analítico, esta investigación pretende abordar el trabajo y la actividad desde el punto de vista de Attar Neishabouri. Se parte de la base de que el hombre moderno puede superar sus problemas siguiendo las directrices educativas de Attar. En investigaciones anteriores, las obras de Attar se han tratado a menudo desde un punto de vista místico. El objetivo más importante de esta investigación es encontrar mensajes eficaces para el cambio y la transformación de la juventud actual hacia el desempleo. El resultado del estudio muestra que, desde el punto de vista de Attar, el hombre debe trabajar mientras viva en este mundo y tenga la fuerza y la capacidad de trabajar. Un momento de vida con trabajo y esfuerzo vale tanto como cien mundos. Attar cree que el éxito y la apertura en la vida dependen de trabajar con sinceridad y honestidad, valor y buena moral. Cree que una persona debe hacer todo por completo para alcanzar finalmente su objetivo. EFICACIA DEL INÓCULO ENCAPSULADO EN PROCESO DE COMPOSTAJE DE RESIDUOS AGROPECUARIOS
Full text linkThe objective of this research was to evaluate the efficacy of the microbial inoculum encapsulated in composting piles of agricultural waste. The piles were prepared with a mixture of 100 kg of laying hen manure and 200 kg of peanut shell, the inoculum variants were: T1 (200 g of capsules), T2 (400 g of capsules), T3 (600 g of capsules) and a control (without inoculum). During the composting process, the physical, chemical and biological parameters of the substrate were analyzed. As a result, it was obtained that all the piles showed temperatures above 55°C. The pH value in the inoculum piles was slightly alkaline in the range of 7.6 to 8.2, while the EC values ranged from 1.03 to 1.58 dS m-1. On the other hand, the moisture content ranged between 55 and 60%. Treatments T2 and T3 presented the highest % organic matter, macronutrient content and germination index, unlike T2 presented the highest content of Fe and Mn. It is concluded that the treatments with the addition of the microbial inoculum presented physical, chemical and category A phytotoxicity indicators.
Esta investigación tuvo como objetivo evaluar la eficacia del inóculo microbiano encapsulado en pilas de compostaje de residuos agropecuarios. Las pilas se prepararon con una mezcla de 100 kg de estiércol de gallinas ponedoras y 200 kg de cáscara de maní, las variantes del inóculo fueron: T1 (200 g de cápsulas), T2 (400 g de cápsulas), T3 (600 g de cápsulas) y un testigo (sin inóculo). Durante el proceso de compostaje se analizaron los parámetros físicos, químicos y biológicos del sustrato. Como resultado se obtuvo que todas las pilas mostraron temperaturas superiores a 55°C. El valor de pH en las pilas con inoculo fue ligeramente alcalino en el rango de 7.6 a 8.2, mientras que los valores de CE oscilaron entre 1.03 a 1.58 dS m-1. Por otro lado, el contenido de humedad osciló entre el 55 y 60%. Los tratamientos T2 y T3 presentaron mayor % Materia orgánica, contenido de macronutrientes e índice de germinación, a diferencia que T2 presento el mayor contenido de Fe y Mn. Se concluye que los tratamientos con adición del inóculo microbiano presentaron indicadores físico, químicos y de fitotoxicidad de categoría A.
 
DIFICULTADES ASOCIADAS EN EL USO DE CHATGPT DESDE LA PERSPECTIVA DEL ESTUDIANTE
Full text linkThe use of artificial intelligence has been increasing in various areas, including education. In this study, we focus on analyzing the difficulties associated with the use of chatGPT from the student\u27s perspective. In this study we used a mixed methodology, which combines quantitative and qualitative data collection. To collect quantitative data, a focus group and a questionnaire were conducted with a representative sample of students who have used chatGPT in their academic activities. The questionnaires included open-ended questions about chatGPT. In addition, a descriptive and correlation analysis was carried out, and, through an exploratory factor analysis, a satisfaction study was carried out, SPSS version 29 was used. The results showed that a high percentage of students reported having experienced difficulties when using chatGPT. Additionally, some students expressed frustration with the lack of customization and chatGPT\u27s inability to adapt to their individual needs. Finally, this study reveals that the use of chatGPT in educational settings faces significant difficulties from the student\u27s perspective. These difficulties include inadequate understanding of instructions, inconsistent responses, and lack of personalization to fit individual student needs. The difficulties experienced by students when interacting with ChatGPT in educational settings show a general level of non-satisfaction.El uso de la inteligencia artificial ha ido en aumento en diversos ámbitos, incluyendo la educación. En este estudio, nos enfocamos en analizar las dificultades asociadas al uso de chatGPT desde la perspectiva del estudiante. En este estudio utilizamos una metodología mixta, que combina la recopilación de datos cuantitativos y cualitativos. Para recopilar datos cuantitativos, se ejecutó un focus group y un cuestionario a una muestra representativa de estudiantes que han utilizado chatGPT en sus actividades académicas. Los cuestionarios incluyeron preguntas abiertas sobre chatGPT. Además, se realizó un análisis descriptivo y de correlaciones, y, mediante un análisis factorial exploratorio se hizo un estudio de satisfacción, se utilizó SPSS versión 29. Los resultados mostraron que un alto porcentaje de estudiantes informó haber experimentado dificultades al utilizar chatGPT. Además, algunos estudiantes expresaron frustración por la falta de personalización y la incapacidad del chatGPT para adaptarse a sus necesidades individuales. Finalmente, este estudio revela que el uso de chatGPT en entornos educativos enfrenta dificultades significativas desde la perspectiva del estudiante. Estas dificultades incluyen la comprensión inadecuada de las instrucciones, respuestas inconsistentes y falta de personalización para adaptarse a las necesidades individuales de los estudiantes. Las dificultades experimentadas por los estudiantes al interactuar con ChatGPT en entornos educativos muestran un nivel general de no satisfacción
