The The effect of amplification and reduction techniques on the singability of translated GMS Live songs from Indonesian to English: Efek teknik amplifikasi dan reduksi terhadap singability dalam penerjemahan lagu GMS Live dari Bahasa Indonesia ke Bahasa Inggris
Song translations are different from other translation materials. It not only requires the translator to translate the meaning or intention, but also to adjust to the original tone, rhythm, and intonation. Those requirements are principle especially when the translated song is meant to be sung. A translator often adds or deletes some parts of the lyrics to fit the translated lyric to the tone, rhythm, and intonation. Eighteen translation techniques have been proposed by Molina & Albir (2002). Two of them are amplification and reduction. Amplification includes explicitation, addition, and paraphrase. Reduction includes reduction, implicitation, and deletion. This research aims at analyze how amplification and reduction techniques are applied and influence the singability of GMS Live songs. This research uses the translation technique theory proposed by Molina & Albir (2002). To analyze the singability, the theory of singability proposed by Franzon (2008) is used. This research uses qualitative document analysis through the descriptive approach. It analyzes the data in song lyrics using amplification and reduction techniques. The source of data are five GMS Live songs translated from Bahasa Indonesia to English: Yang Termulia (Glorious God), Dahsyat (So Great), Perkasa (Mighty God), Berkenan BagiMu (Purify Me), and Melodi (Melody). The data analysis result shows that amplification-addition is the dominant technique in this song translation. The techniques chosen actively affected the singability of the song. It is proven by the data analysis result which shows that 80% of the translated lyrics have high level of prosodic match
Dukungan Keluarga pada Lansia Penderita Hipertensi di RW 06 Kelurahan Darmo Kecamatan Wonokromo Surabaya
Pendahuluan: Dukungan keluarga dibutuhkan lansia penderita hipertensi dalam pemenuhan aktivitas sehari-hari sehingga dapat meningkatkan keberhasilan pengobatan yang dijalani. Namun, fenomena yang terjadi pada lansia penderita hipertensi di RW 06 Kelurahan Darmo Kecamatan Wonokromo adalah lansia jarang diantar keluarga ke fasilitas kesehatan ataupun posyandu karena adanya kesibukan dari anggota keluarganya, keluarga membiarkan lansia minum obat sendiri dan jarang diingatkan untuk minum obat. Tujuan Penelitian: mengidentifikasi gambaran dukungan keluarga pada pada lansia penderita hipertensi di RW 06 Kelurahan Darmo Kecamatan Wonokromo Surabaya Metode: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif dengan variabel penelitian dukungan keluarga. Populasi pada penelitian ini yaitu lansia sebanyak 38 responden dengan menggunakan Teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah FSS (Family Support Scale). Analisa statistik menggunakan ASDPP. Hasil: sebagian besar 80% (30) lansia mendapatkan dukungan baik. Kesimpulan: Sebagian besar (80%) responden mendapatkan dukungan keluarga yang baik di RW 06 Kelurahan Darmo Kecamatan Wonokromo
PSIKOEDUKASI DAN ROLE PLAY GURU BK: MENINGKATKAN SELF-ESTEEM SISWA
In the digital era, challenges to self-esteem have become increasingly complex due to social comparison, self-image pressure on social media, and phenomena such as cyberbullying and digital addiction that can trigger feelings of worthlessness. Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers play a strategic role in helping students understand and develop healthy self-esteem; however, they often face limitations in knowledge and skills when addressing this issue. The Community Service (PkM) activity titled “Psychoeducation and Role Play for Guidance and Counseling Teachers: Enhancing Students’ Self-Esteem” was conducted to strengthen the capacity of BK teachers through psychoeducation, talk shows, and role play. A total of 42 BK teachers from senior and vocational high schools in Palembang City participated in this program. The psychoeducation sessions aimed to enhance theoretical understanding of self-esteem and its contributing factors, while the role play sessions provided practical experience in applying empathetic counseling techniques and supportive communication with students experiencing low self-esteem. The results showed increased enthusiasm, understanding, and reflective skills among participants in identifying and addressing low self-esteem cases within the school environment
BUILDING FUNCTIONAL PROJECT ORGANIZATION: EVIDENCE FROM INDONESIA CEMENT PROJECTS
The aim of this study is to provide a practical established of functional project organization based on empirical experience from executing several cement projects in Indonesia. This study developed a mixed interdisciplinary case study, content analysis, and descriptive analysis. First, we employed a case study to collect data and information on the cement projects in Indonesia from 2008 to 2023. Second, we conducted content analyses to examine preliminary findings from the first stage. Finally, we developed a descriptive analysis to draw conclusions, recommendations, and suggestions. This study justified that the engineering, procurement, and construction contract (EPCC) organization was the best fit and received adequate support to be applied in the cement projects. This type of organization has been recognized by practitioners of cement projects in Indonesia. An important note is that the organization must have a framework chart authorization to govern finance circulation
ACCOUNTING PRACTICES OF LISTED COMPANIES IN THE ENGINEERING SECTOR OF BANGLADESH
Accounting practices are very crucial to ensure the reliability and reporting of financial issues all over the world. This study examines the accounting practices of the Engineering sector listed on the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE). This study is based on 37 companies’ annual reports out of a total population of 41 companies. This empirical study considers five years of annual reports from 2020 to 2024. Finally, a purposive sample of 185 annual reports is explored to achieve the study's objectives. By analysing these annual reports, this study explores some key accounting practices used by Engineering sector companies in an emerging economy context. This study finds that most companies follow the same accounting practices for their company. It is found that the reporting was done by the following International Accounting Standards and International Financial Reporting Standards. The findings of the study will provide insights to the regulatory bodies, academicians, and business consultants about the accounting tools most common in an emerging economy. Moreover, the policymaker may shape future accounting policies focusing on the findings of the study
Analisis Bauran Pemasaran Jasa (7P) sebagai Strategi Peningkatan Kepuasan Konsumen: Studi Kualitatif di Klinik Anna Medika Madura
Pelayanan kesehatan yang bermutu dan memuaskan pasien merupakan salah satu kunci keberlangsungan klinik di tengah persaingan fasilitas kesehatan yang semakin ketat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan bauran pemasaran jasa (7P), yang meliputi product, price, place, promotion, people, process, dan physical evidence, serta kaitannya dengan kepuasan pasien di Klinik Anna Medika Madura. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Informan dipilih secara purposive dan terdiri atas pimpinan klinik, beberapa staf yang terlibat langsung dalam pelayanan, serta pasien atau keluarga pasien yang pernah mendapatkan pelayanan di Klinik Anna Medika Madura, sehingga total terdapat 15 informan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dan dianalisis secara tematik berdasarkan komponen bauran pemasaran jasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan bauran pemasaran jasa di Klinik Anna Medika Madura secara umum dinilai sudah cukup baik. Dimensi price, place, process, dan physical evidence dipersepsikan paling kuat mendukung kepuasan pasien, melalui tarif yang terjangkau, lokasi yang mudah diakses, proses pelayanan yang relatif cepat dan tidak berbelit, serta lingkungan fisik klinik yang bersih dan nyaman. Sementara itu, dimensi product, promotion, dan people masih memerlukan penguatan, terutama terkait pengembangan variasi layanan, optimalisasi promosi melalui media sosial dan kegiatan edukasi kesehatan, serta peningkatan konsistensi sikap ramah dan profesional seluruh petugas. Secara keseluruhan, penerapan bauran pemasaran jasa berkontribusi positif terhadap kepuasan pasien dan dapat menjadi dasar bagi manajemen dalam merumuskan strategi peningkatan kualitas pelayanan di Klinik Anna Medika Madura
FORMULASI DAN EVALUASI MUTU FISIK MASKER GEL EKSTRAK DAUN BELIMBING WULUH DENGAN VARIASI KONSENTRASI Na CMC
Acne is an infected blackhead. One of the simplest and most common ways to deal with acne on the face is to use a mask that contains antibacterial. The flavonoid compounds in star fruit leaves (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) can act as antibacterial. Based on the content of flavonoid compounds in star fruit leaves (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) It has the capability to be developed into a gel mask preparation that can treat acne practically and effectively. This study aimed to evaluate the examine how diferent concentrations of Na CMC influence the physical quality of the gel mask. The gel mask is made by direct dispersion method by developing Na CMC FI 3%, FII 4%, FIII 6% with water at a temperature of 70°C then mixed with other ingredients such as propylene glycol, nipagine and aquadest. After the gel mask preparation is formed, an evaluation of the physical quality is carried out including organoleptic tests, homogeneity, pH, viscosity, dispersibility and adhesion. From the physical quality evaluation, the results of formula I were thick, formula II and III were very thick. Formulas I, II, III produce homogeneous preparations, according to skin pH, high viscosity and adhesion, and low spreadability. The concentration of the gelling agent is conclude to have an impact on the physical quality of the gel mask. The difference in the concentration of gelling agent affects the viscosity. High viscosity affects high adhesion and low dispersibility.Jerawat merupakan komedo hitam yang terinfeksi. Salah satu cara mengatasi jerawat pada wajah yang paling sederhana dan umum dilakukan adalah dengan menggunakan masker yang mengandung antibakteri. Flavonoid pada daun belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) dapat berperan sebagai antibakteri. Berdasarkan kandungan senyawa flavonoid pada daun belimbing wuluh (Averrhoa bilimbi L.) tersebut berpotensi untuk dikembangkan menjadi masker gel yang dapat mengatasi jerawat secara praktis dan efektif. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengevaluasi dampak variasi konsentrasi Na CMC terhadap karateristik fisik gel. Masker gel dibuat dengan metode dispersi langsung dengan mengembangkan Na CMC FI 3%, FII 4%, FIII 6% dengan air pada suhu 70°C kemudian dicampur dengan bahan lain seperti propilen glikol, nipagin dan aquadest. Setelah sediaan masker gel terbentuk, dilakukan evaluasi mutu fisik meliputi uji organoleptis, homogenitas, pH, viskositas, daya sebar dan daya lekat. Dari evaluasi mutu fisik didapatkan hasil formula I kental, formula II dan III sangat kental. Formula I, II, III menghasilkan sediaan yang homogen, sesuai dengan pH kulit, viskositas dan daya lekat yang tinggi, serta daya sebar yang rendah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga konsentrasi gelling agent mempengaruhi mutu fisik masker gel. Perbedaan konsentrasi gelling agent mempengaruhi viskositas. Viskositas yang tinggi berpengaruh pada daya lekat menjadi tinggi dan daya sebar yang rendah
PENGARUH ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERN, PERCEIVED ECONOMIC BENEFIT, SOCIAL INFLUENCE, DAN CHARGING INFRASTRUCTURE TERHADAP PURCHASE INTENTION MELALUI ATTITUDE PADA PENGGUNA SEPEDA LISTRIK DI SURABAYA
ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the effects of environmental concern, perceived economic benefit, social influence, and charging infrastructure on attitude, as well as the effect of attitude on purchase intention among electric bicycle users in Surabaya. The sampling method employed in this study was non-probability sampling using a purposive sampling technique. The sample consisted of 130 respondents who met the predetermined criteria, namely consumers who had purchased an electric bicycle within the last month, were over 17 years old, and were domiciled in the city of Surabaya. The results indicate that environmental concern, perceived economic benefit, social influence, and charging infrastructure have a positive and significant effect on attitude. Furthermore, attitude has a positive and significant effect on the purchase intention of electric bicycle users in Surabaya.ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh environmental concern, perceived economic benefit, social influence, dan charging infrastructure terhadap attitude, serta pengaruh attitude terhadap purchase intention pada pengguna sepeda listrik di Surabaya. Metode pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah non-probability sampling dengan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 130 responden yang memenuhi kriteria, yaitu konsumen yang telah membeli sepeda listrik dalam satu bulan terakhir, berusia di atas 17 tahun, dan berdomisili di Kota Surabaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa environmental concern, perceived economic benefit, social influence, dan charging infrastructure berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap attitude. Selanjutnya, attitude juga berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap purchase intention pengguna sepeda listrik di Surabaya
UJI DAYA TERIMA DAN KANDUNGAN SERAT PADA DESSERT BOX BERBAHAN DASAR TEPUNG PEPAYA SEBAGAI PANGAN ALTERNATIF TINGGI SERAT
Kurangnya asupan serat pada masyarakat Indonesia menjadi masalah gizi yang memerlukan solusi melalui inovasi pangan alternatif bergizi untuk membantu memenuhi kebutuhan serat harian. Dessert box merupakan salah satu snack yang populer di berbagai kalangan, namun kandungan seratnya relatif rendah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan formulasi dessert box berbahan dasar tepung pepaya yang paling disukai, sekaligus menganalisis kandungan serat pangan totalnya. Penelitian dilaksanakan secara eksperimental menggunakan rancangan acak lengkap nonfaktorial dengan tiga formulasi campuran tepung pepaya dan tepung terigu, yaitu C1 (10%:90%), C2 (25%:75%), dan C3 (40%:60%). Uji daya terima melibatkan 25 panelis semi-terlatih menggunakan skala hedonik 5 poin untuk menilai warna, aroma, rasa, dan tekstur. Analisis serat pangan total dilakukan dengan metode enzimatis-gravimetrik pada tepung pepaya serta dessert box yang paling disukai panelis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan formulasi C2 (25%:75%) memperoleh skor tertinggi pada seluruh parameter uji daya terima, dengan kandungan serat pangan total sebesar 8,96 g/100 g. Estimasi kandungan gizi per 100 g dessert box mencakup energi 538 kkal (25% AKG), protein 18,7 g (23.4%), lemak 20,2 g (33.8%), karbohidrat 61 g (18.9%), gula 22 g (44%), dan serat 8,96 g (35.8%). Penambahan tepung pepaya terbukti meningkatkan kandungan serat pangan, sehingga dessert box ini berpotensi menjadi alternatif kudapan modern bergizi tinggi yang dapat membantu memenuhi kecukupan serat harian dan mendukung pola makan sehat masyarakat
PENGARUH PROPORSI TEPUNG BERAS KETAN DENGAN TAPIOKA, MAIZENA, DAN PATI KENTANG TERHADAP UJI HEDONIK GARAETTEOK
Garaetteok is a traditional Korean rice cake that has a cylindrical shape, white color, and chewy texture. South Korea used short grain rice while Indonesia used long grain, so it had different characteristics. Glutinous rice flour has a high level of amylopectin caused too soft and sticky garaetteok, therefore higher amylose content starch was needed. Starches used were tapioca (T), corn starch (M), and potato starch (K). Each starch influenced its sensory characteristics, which affect the customer preferences. The aim of this study was to determine the sensory characteristics of garaetteok made from a combination of glutinous rice flour and three types of starches by parameters of color, taste, bitten texture, and chewed texture. This study used a Randomized block design with one factor, the proportion of glutinous rice flour:starch using five treatment levels 80:20 (1), 70:30 (2), 60:40 (3), 50:50 (4), 40:60 (5) then analyzed with ANOVA (p<0,05) and PCA method. The most preferred level of bitten texture, chewed texture, and taste of each starch obtained from treatment (3). Treatments T1 and T2 had low hedonic values because they had a sticky and elastic texture, making it tough to bite. While hedonic value of treatments T5, K4, and K5 decreased because the product became denser and harder.Tapioca and potato starch more affected the bitten texture and chewed texture than corn starch
