Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Materi Pemanasan Global melalui Pembelajaran Berdiferensiasi pada Peserta Didik Kelas X3 Di SMA Negeri 19 Surabaya
Learning activities in the classroom should be able to accommodate the diversity of needs and characteristics of students. Differentiated learning is a series of decisions and strategies made by the teacher to organize a learning process that can accommodate the characteristics and learning needs of students. Differentiated learning in this study is devoted to categorizing students' learning needs based on aspects of students' learning profiles, namely students' learning styles. The differentiated learning carried out includes the preparation and implementation of content and process differentiation based on students’ learning styles. This study is a form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out over 2 cycles. The stages in each cycle are planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year in class X3 at SMA Negeri 19 Surabaya. The subjects of this research were 36 students. Based on the analysis, in the cycle I, 58.33% of students passed the passing grade. The number increases to 80.56% in cycle II. It can be concluded that the application of differentiated learning can improve the learning outcomes of class X3 students at SMA Negeri 19 Surabaya on Global Warming topics.Kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas hendaknya dapat mengakomodasi keragaman kebutuhan dan karakteristik peserta didik. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi adalah serangkaian keputusan dan strategi yang dibuat oleh guru untuk menyelenggarakan proses pembelajaran yang dapat mengakomodasi karakteristik dan kebutuhan belajar peserta didik. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada penelitian ini dikhususkan pada pengkategorian kebutuhan belajar peserta didik berdasarkan aspek profil belajar peserta didik yaitu gaya belajar peserta didik. Pembelajaran berdiferensiasi yang dilakukan meliputi penyusunan dan implementasi diferensiasi konten dan proses berdasarkan gaya belajar peserta didik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan selama 2 siklus. Adapun masing-masing tahapan dalam setiap siklus yaitu tahap perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada semester genap tahun pelajaran 2022/2023 di kelas X3 SMA Negeri 19 Surabaya. Subjek penelitian ini berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Berdasarkan analisis ketuntasan klasikal hasil belajar peserta didik, persentase ketuntasan klasikal pada siklus I adalah 58,33% dan naik menjadi 80,56% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas X3 SMA Negeri 19 Surabaya pada materi Pemanasan Global
OVERVIEW OF VACCINE-PREVENTABLE DISEASES SURVEILLANCE AND COMPLETE BASIC IMMUNIZATION COVERAGE AT CAMELIA POSYANDU
Vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs) remain a global health challenge. In Indonesia, immunization coverage has not yet reached the national target, particularly in East Nusa Tenggara Province, which recorded only 79.04% coverage in 2024. This study aimed to describe VPD surveillance and immunization coverage at the Camelia Integrated Health Service Post, involving 30 toddlers, through examination of health cards and interviews. The study used a qualitative approach with a retrospective descriptive analytical design. Surveillance was conducted through five stages: data collection, monthly data processing, analysis, ACER reporting, and follow-up in the form of catch-up immunization. The results showed that 33.3% of children were fully immunized on time, 30% experienced delayed immunization, and 36.7% had incomplete immunization status. DPT-HB-Hib (32.8%) and oral polio vaccine (23%) were the most frequently delayed vaccines due to parents’ lack of knowledge, concerns about side effects, child illness, busy schedules, limited access to services, and insufficient family support. The study concluded that although immunization coverage was not yet optimal, the implementation of VPD surveillance and a consistent catch-up immunization program effectively prevented VPD cases in the Camelia Posyandu area. Recommendations include strengthening digital recording systems, continuing health education, implementing digital reminder systems, optimizing home visits, and conducting periodic evaluations
Peningkatan Kemampuan Berbicara Siswa melalui Wordwall di Kelas VII SMPN 2 Gedangan Tahun Akademik 2022/2023
English is a foreign language that students in Indonesia need to master well. One of the important skills in English is speaking. Speaking is a productive skill since it produces ideas, messages, and suggestions, also the need to practice it. Besides, speaking is one of the four English skills. The aim of the research is to improve students’ speaking skill through Wordwall. The conducted research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research is conducted in VII-K SMPN 2 Gedangan. The number students in the class are 37 students. Female students consist of 20. Male students consist of 17. The result of the research is that using Wordwall as learning mesia could help to improve students’ speaking skill. The progress of students from pretest to posttest was significant. The students really studied hard to improve their speaking skills. They were excited to learn English. Besides, they were also excited on learning using Wordwall because it was something new for them.Bahasa Inggris merupakan bahasa asing yang perlu dikuasai dengan baik oleh pelajar di Indonesia. Salah satu keterampilan penting dalam bahasa Inggris adalah keterampilan berbicara. Berbicara merupakan keterampilan produktif karena menghasilkan ide, pesan, dan saran dan perlu kita praktikkan. Selain itu, berbicara merupakan salah satu bagian dari empat keterampilan bahasa Inggris yang harus dikuasai dengan baik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui media pembelajaran Wordwall. Penelitian yang dilakukan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan di VII-K SMPN 2 Gedangan. Jumlah siswa dalam kelas tersebut adalah 37 siswa. Siswa perempuan berjumlah 20 orang. Siswa laki-laki berjumlah 17 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Wordwall sebagai media pembelajaran dapat membantu meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa. Kemajuan keterampilan yang dimiliki siswa dari pretest hingga posttest terjadi secara signifikan. Para siswa benar-benar belajar keras untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara mereka. Mereka bersemangat dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Selain itu, mereka juga bersemangat belajar dengan menggunakan Wordwall karena merupakan sesuatu yang baru bagi mereka
Penerapan Strategi Team-Pair-Solo untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca Peserta Didik Kelas VII C SMPN Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto
This study aims to improve student learning outcomes, especially to improve the reading ability of class VII C students at SMP Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto on Asking and Giving Instructions/Directions using the Team-Pair-Solo strategy. The subjects of this study were students of class VII C SMP Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto which consisted of 32 students (14 male students and 18 female students). This type of study is Collaborative Classroom Action Research (PTKK), in which the researcher works with collaborators, namely English subject teachers in class VII C SMP Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto. This study consisted of three cycles. The first cycle and the second cycle consisted of two meetings, while the third cycle consisted of one meeting. Data collection techniques in this study were obtained through observation, questionnaires, and the final test in each cycle. Student learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II increased by around 18.7%, and from Cycle II to Cycle III increased by around 9.4%. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of students reading skills in the Asking and Giving Instructions/Directions material can be improved by using the Team-Pair-Solo strategy in class VII C SMP Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik khususnya meningkatkan kemampuan membaca peserta didik kelas VII C SMP Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto pada materi Asking and Giving Instructions/Directions menggunakan penerapan strategi Team-Pair-Solo. Subjek penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas VIIC SMP Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto, yang berjumlah 32 orang, yang terdiri dari 14 siswa laki – laki dan 18 siswa perempuan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas Kolaboratif (PTKK), di mana penelti bekerja sama dengan kolaborator yakni guru pengampu mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris pada kelas VII C SMP Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto. Penelitian ini terdiri dari tiga siklus. Untuk siklus pertama dan siklus kedua terdiri dari dua pertemuan, sedangkan untuk siklus ketiga terdiri dari satu pertemuan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, angket, dan juga tes akhir pada setiap siklus. Hasil belajar peserta didik dari mulai Siklus I ke Siklus II mengalami peningkatan sekitar 18,7%, dan untuk dari Siklus II ke Siklus III mengalami peningkatan sekitar 9,4%. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar kemampuan membaca peserta didik pada materi Asking and Giving Instructions/Directions dapat ditingkatkan dengan menggunakan penerapan strategi Team-Pair-Solo di kelas VII C SMP Negeri 1 Jatirejo Mojokerto
OVERVIEW OF MALARIA SURVEILLANCE IN THE ELIMINATION PHASE AT THE OESAPA COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER
Malaria remains a significant public health challenge, particularly in regions that have achieved elimination but remain vulnerable to imported cases due to high population mobility. This study describes the malaria surveillance system at the Oesapa Community Health Center during the elimination phase, specifically assessing its readiness to detect, report, and respond to cases in a timely. Employing a qualitative descriptive design, the study involved five key informants through in-depth interviews and document reviews, followed by a narrative analysis of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. The results indicate that all surveillance stages align with national guidelines, including data-driven planning, early detection via laboratory testing, travel history recording, and routine reporting. While the system at Oesapa is categorized as 'good,' enhancements in human resource capacity, migration surveillance, and cross-sector coordination are essential to prevent malaria reintroduction and sustain elimination status
MARKET REACTION TO THE RATIFICATION OF “RUU IBU KOTA NUSANTARA”
Research Purposes. This study aims to analyse the Indonesian capital market’s reaction to the ratification of the “RUU Ibu Kota Nusantara” using abnormal return (AR) and trading volume activity (TVA) on IDX30 companies.
Research Methods The study applies an event study approach using the market model and a paired-samples t-test to secondary data from 2022, including daily stock prices, the composite index (IHSG), and trading volume.
Research Results and Findings. The findings indicate a significant market reaction on the tenth day prior to the event, characterized by positive AR, suggesting the market's positive anticipation of the bill's ratification. However, during other periods, the market reaction was not significant, implying that the announcement's impact was temporary. For TVA, the paired-samples t-test results reveal a significant difference between the pre- and post-enactment periods, indicating an increase in stock trading volume following the announcement. This study concludes that the enactment of the Nusantara Capital City Bill had a temporary impact on market reaction and increased stock trading volume activity. These findings provide empirical evidence for investors and the government to better understand how significant policies influence the capital market and support more informed investment decision-making
PROTOCOL OPTIMIZATION OF RT-qPCR FOR NF-ΚB DETECTION IN CARDIAC TISSUE FROM HFHS-FED MICE
Accurate detection of gene expression in challenging tissues requires methodological optimization to ensure reproducibility. Cardiac tissue, with its low cell density and variable RNA yield, presents particular difficulties for RT‑qPCR analysis. This study aimed to refine NF‑κB detection in HFHS‑fed C57BL/6 mice by comparing a standard 2‑ΔΔCt approach with an optimized protocol incorporating individualized calibrators adjusted for RNA concentration. Six male mice were divided into standard-diet (STD) and high‑fat, high‑sucrose (HFHS) groups, and cardiac RNA was extracted after 8 weeks of feeding. While relative NF‑κB expression trends were higher in the HFHS group, differences were not statistically significant; however, the optimized method consistently reduced variability and improved measurement reliability compared to the generalized approach. These findings highlight the value of individualized calibration as a protocol refinement for RT‑qPCR, offering a more rational framework for gene expression analysis in heterogeneous or technically demanding tissue samples
Meningkatkan Kemampuan Membaca melalui Kegiatan Peningkatan Kosakata (Vocabulary) untuk Siswa Kelas Delapan Di SMPN 1 Jabon
English is considered one of the most difficult subjects to learn, leading to students’ low learning motivation. At SMPN 1 Jabon, despite ample study hours and easy assignments and materials given by the teacher, many students have difficulty learning English. Students in class VIII, especially VIII-E, still face obstacles in understanding reading. Although they have been given exercises to answer questions related to the passage, they still have difficulty answering them. A very limited understanding of vocabulary contributes to this issue. The researcher conducted a classroom action research related to students' vocabulary mastery to help improve students' reading ability and English language mastery. This research was conducted in several cycles. Each cycle consisted of Plan-Do-Look-Reflect activities. The researcher planned two cycles to provide two treatments to the students. Cycle 1 presented the treatment using Vocabulary Self-Collection Strategy (VSS). For the second cycle, the researcher applied the word clustering strategy as a vocabulary development activity. Based on the data from the posttest in cycle 1 and cycle 2, students' reading comprehension developed in general. This can be seen from the results of the posttest of cycle 2. 67% of students met the minimum reading comprehension score standard (75 points).Dibandingkan dengan mata pelajaran lainnya, Bahasa Inggris dianggap salah satu yang paling sulit dipelajari sehingga menimbulkan kurangnya motivasi siswa untuk belajar. Di SMPN 1 Jabon, banyak siswa yang kesulitan belajar bahasa Inggris walaupun mereka memiliki banyak jam belajar dalam seminggu dan guru juga memberikan tugas dan materi yang mudah kepada siswa. Siswa kelas VIII khususnya VIII-E masih menghadapi kendala dalam memahami bacaan. Walaupun mereka telah diberikan latihan untuk menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang berkaitan dengan bagian tersebut, mereka masih kesulitan untuk menjawabnya. Salah satu penyebab yang mendasari permasalahan ini adalah pemahaman kosakata yang sangat terbatas. Peneliti melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas terkait dengan penguasaan kosakata siswa untuk membantu meningkatkan kemampuan membaca dan penguasaan bahasa Inggris siswa. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan dalam beberapa siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari kegiatan Rencana-Lakukan-Lihat-Renungkan. Peneliti merencanakan dua siklus untuk memberikan dua perlakuan kepada siswa. Siklus 1 menyajikan perlakuan menggunakan Vocabulary Self-Collection Strategy (VSS). Untuk siklus kedua, peneliti menerapkan strategi pengelompokan kata sebagai aktivitas pengembangan kosakata. Berdasarkan data yang diambil dari posttest pada siklus 1 dan siklus 2, pemahaman membaca siswa berkembang secara umum. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil posttest siklus 2. 67% siswa telah memenuhi standar skor minimum pelajaran Bahasa Inggris yaitu 75 poin
Penerapan Strategi Think-Talk-Write (Ttw) untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Menulis Peserta Didik Kelas 8 pada Teks Recount di SMPN 1 Surabaya Tahun Ajaran 2022-2023
This study aimed at exploring further the implementation of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy in improving the eighth-grade students’ writing skills in recount texts at SMPN 1 Surabaya. Additionally, this present study also investigated the aspects of writing which improved through the implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy. This study used collaborative classroom action research and it was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consisted of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting steps. Writing test and observation are the instruments for this study. The data obtained from writing test and observation were analyzed quantitively and qualitatively. The result reported that there is an improvement for students writing ability after the implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy. It is proven by the improvement of the students’ writing mean score from pretest (M= 71.62), posttest 1 (M=77.45), and posttest 2 (M=84.31). Additionally, the result also showed that there is an improvement on the writing aspects starting from content, language use, organization, vocabulary, to mechanics. Thus, the implementation of Think-Talk-Write (TTW) strategy can improve the students’ writing skill in recount text at SMPN 1 Surabaya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi lebih jauh tentang penerapan strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis peserta didik kelas 8 pada teks recount di SMPN 1 Surabaya. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menyelidiki aspek-aspek menulis yang meningkat melalui penerapan strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas kolaboratif dan dilakukan dalam 2 siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi. Tes menulis dan observasi merupakan instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Data yang diperoleh dari tes menulis dan observasi dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan menulis peserta didik setelah penerapan strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya peningkatan nilai rata-rata menulis peserta didik dari pretest (M= 71.62), posttest 1 (M=77.45), dan posttest 2 (M=84.31). Selain itu, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada aspek-aspek penulisan mulai dari konten, penggunaan bahasa, organisasi, kosakata, dan mekanik. Dengan demikian, penerapan strategi Think-Talk-Write (TTW) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan menulis peserta didik dalam teks recount di SMPN 1 Surabaya
Synthetic Earthquake Accelerogram of Kupang City Based on SNI 8899:2020
In order to make it a sustainable and safe city as a settlement, Kupang City requires the availability of earthquake-resistant buildings because its location on Timor Island is in an earthquake-prone area. In designing earthquake-resistant buildings, there is a method, namely the time history analysis method, which better shows the actual conditions at the time of the earthquake because it includes earthquake load parameters in the time function (dynamic load). This method requires an earthquake accelerogram as an earthquake load in the analysis process. Not all areas have earthquake accelerogram recordings, so it is necessary to create a synthetic earthquake accelerogram as a substitute for the earthquake accelerogram at the location where a building will be planned. In this paper, eleven pairs of synthetic accelerograms were created for the Kupang City location for the medium soil site class (SD) by referring to SNI 8899:2020 and the Indonesian Earthquake Hazard Deaggregation Map for Earthquake Resistant Infrastructure Planning and Evaluation which is a derivative of SNI 1726:2019. The creation of synthetic earthquake accelerograms in this paper uses the Amplitude Scaling Method using a period range of 0.2 seconds - 2 seconds for three earthquake source mechanisms, namely the Benioff earthquake source, the Shallow Fault earthquake source, and the Megathrust earthquake source. From each earthquake source, eleven pairs of horizontal earthquake accelerograms were taken that met the location criteria and then selected based on the significant duration of each pair of accelerograms. The results of the study are eleven pairs of synthetic earthquake accelerograms for the Kupang City location which can be used as dynamic earthquake loads in time history analysis. The eleven synthetic accelerograms are modifications of the original earthquake accelerograms on the earthquake accelerogram database website with the following Regional Seismic Network (RSN) numbers: RSN 9, RSN 36, RSN 51, RSN 4007390, RSN 4017018, RSN 4017032, RSN 4017055, RSN 4032461, RSN 4028440, RSN 4028606, and RSN 4032589
