    Cyclic Voltammetric Determination of Methylparaben and Propylparaben in Pharmaceutical Preparations

    In this study, a new technique was developed using rapid Cyclic voltammetry at hanging mercury electrode (HDME) and The anodic oxidation and cathodic reduction for the detrmination of two commonly used parabens (methylparaben (MP) and propylparaben (PP)) in maleate buffer at (pH 6) solution. The results show that the charge transfer processes were reversible. The method is used to determine methyl and propyl paraben in concentration range (2.66 × 10-8, 1.07 × 10-7) M at pH = 6 respectively. This method was applied successfully for the assay of the pharmaceutical preparations of the considered drugs.Key words: Cyclic voltammetry,methyl and propyl paraben, drug

    لم يترك مجالا للرواية العربية أن تنشأ بمقوماتها الذاتية و تختمر بعناصرها الداخلية وتظهر بهويتها العربية بل عليها طابع التقليد و التبعية وسارت في إتجاه غربي شكلا ومضمونا وهذا هو السبب وراء محاولات لإخراج الرواية بسمات عربية إسلامية والدكتورنجيب الكيلاني من الشخصيات الأدبية التي ساهموا في هذه الساحة فهو أول من جعل من ثوابت العقيدة وأخلاقيات الإسلام هدفا روائيا؛ واستطاع ان يقدم تصويرا من أهم صراع وقع علي الساحة الايدئولوجية بين القيم السامية التي يمثلها الإسلام والأفكارالسلبية  التي تمثلها اليهود. ويحاول هذا البحث عن طريق قراءة النص الروائي والتركيز علي مضمونه بحثا وتحليلا أن يصور مدي نجاح الكاتب في الاستلهام من التاريخ وترسيخ مفاهيمه الساميه في القارئ وتسيير مشروع اسلمة الرواية العربية و يظهر مدي تمكنه من ابراز اهم صراع وقع في التاريخ بين الانسانية والايديولوجي السلبي و يبدو ان الكاتب ابدع اتجاها اسلاميا متطورا في كتابـه الروايه الإسلامية

    Preparation of Activated Charcoal with High Surface Area from an Agriculture Wastes and Industrial Residues

    This work was concentrated on preparation of activated carbon which also call (charcoal) from natural agricultural wastes (leg & leaves and empty ear of corn, Wheat & Barley grass and herb residues) and industrial residues (Paper drafts and Sawdust). These residues were treated first with Sodium Hydroxide (1:2) (1 of the raw materials : 2 of NaOH), then burning at 550 ± 25 °C for three hours to complete the carbonization process. The reaction mixture was purified by washing with distillation water and neutralized using 10% Hydrochloric acid. Reflux for one hour, filtrate and washing with distilled water, and leaves to dry at 110 – 120 °C for 24 hours.     The process of salt dissolution is a reason of structure severe deformation by effective settlement. This paper investigates the effect of soaking process on the soil samples from site near the Faculty of Engineering at University of Kufa. Aim: To determine the level of knowledge about asthma among students in College of health and medical technologies. Methodology: one hundred forty college students were selected using a designed questionnaire for collect information of students about,the,epidemiology of asthma, symptoms, trigger factors and source of their information.     This study was conducted in the laboratories  of  biology department, faculty of  Science,  which deal with isolation of lipase and optimization of process parameters to achieve maximum yield of lipase by Pseudomonas aeruginosa which carried out for enhanced production of lipase using olive oil as the substrate of enzyme , maximum activity of the enzyme was achieved under best growth conditions , the best conditions were the isolated of  lipase from Pseudomonas aeruginosa in synthetic medium , it gave high titer of lipase activity , the glucose as carbon source , peptone as nitrogen source , incubation period 48 h , incubation temperature 40 °C and pH = 8

    Densities and viscosities of pyridoxine(B6) in aqueous and acidic solutions at 298.15-313.15K have been measured. By Masson equation the experimental values of densities were used to estimate some significant parameters, such as apparent  molal volume(Φv), limiting apparent molal volume(Φv0) and slop Sv, and the viscosity data have been investigatevia Jones-Dole equation, and the derived parameters, Jones-Dole coefficient B, and Falkenhagen  coefficient A. The results were interpreted in term of solute-solute and solute –solvent interaction. The difference of B coefficient with temperature (dB/dT), was also determined the positive values indicate that pyridoxine(B6)in aqueous and acidic solutions is structure making

    This study was conducted in the laboratories of the Department of Biology /Faculty of Education for Girls / University of Kufa for the academic year 2017/2018 to know the effect of  bio health ( salicylic acid) and sodium chloride salt) in some growth indicators of( EPA1, Anber 33 and Abasia) varieties of rice plant Oryza sativa L. The design of experiment was (R.C.B.D) Randomized Complete Block Design with four replicates, The study included two factors: the first treatment of seed activation: (T1 = unsoaked dry seeds ), (T2 = seeds soaked only  with water ), (T3 = bio health 20 mg / L), T4 = (bio health 60 mg / L),( T5 = bio health 80 mg / L), (T6= Sodium chloride salt 10 mg / L), (T7 = Sodium chloride salt 200 mg / L), (T8= Salicylic acid 50 mg / L), (T9 = Salicylic acid 75 mg / L), (T10 = Salicylic acid 100 mg / L).     المستخلص     نفذت تجربة حقلية في احد البيوت البلاستيكية لمنطقة الظاهرية /محافظة بابل وللموسم الزراعي 2013/2014 وفي تربة رملية مزيجة  لدراسة تأثير رش اربعة مستويات من البوتاسيوم (صفر ، 15 ، 30 ، 45 كغم بوتاسيوم  هـ-1) على هيئة كبريتات البوتاسيوم المائية (K2SO4.7H2O ، 41% K2O) واربعة مستويات من الحديد (صفر ، 25 ، 50 ، 75 كغم حديد هـ-1) باستعمال السماد المخلبيFe-EDTA   وتداخلهما على بعض مؤشرات الحاصل ونوعيته لنبات الطماطة صنف وجدان وبمعدل اربعة رشات المدة بينها 30 يوما ، صممت تجربة عامليه  وفق تصميم القطاعات تامة التعشية RCBD  وقورنت المتوسطات باختبار اقل فرق معنوي LSD وبمستوى معنوية 5% .اشارت النتائج الى تفوق معاملة رش البوتاسيوم بمستوى ( 45 كغم بوتاسيوم هـ-1) معنويا في زيادة متوسطات  نسبة المادة الجافة للثمار ونسبة المواد الصلبة الذائبة في الثمار ومتوسط حجم الثمرة وصلابتها ومتوسط عدد الثمار ووزنها ومتوسط الحاصل المبكر والكلي وبنسب زيادة بلغت 33.78 ، 64.00 ، 24.19 ، 32.73 ، 33.96 ، 16.76 ، 54.56 ، 55.88 %  بالتتابع قياسا بمعاملة المقارنة ، وهو نفس سلوك معاملة الرش بالحديد اذ تفوقت المعاملة (75 كغم حديد.هـ-1) في جميع الصفات اعلاه اذ بلغت نسب الزيادة 40.20 ، 20.59 ، 17.44 ، 19.34 ، 27.67 ، 9.49 ، 34.56 ، 39.18 % بالتتابع قياسا بمعاملة المقارنة.     اما معاملات التداخل فقد اظهرت تفوق معاملة الرش بخليط من (45 كغم بوتاسيوم. هـ-1 + 75 كغم حديد. هـ-1) واعطائها اعلى القيم لجميع الصفات اعلاه والتي بلغت 13.34% ،  7.56%  ،  11.07 كغم.سم2  ،  132.78 سم3 ،  66.46 ثمرة.نبات-1  ،  127.18 غم  ، 6.323 كغم . م-2، و28.146 كغم. م-2 بالتتابع
