EFFECT OF NANO ZINC OXIDE ON TENSILE PROPERTIES OF NATURAL RUBBER COMPOSITE
No full textThis study investigates the effect of Nano-zinc oxide on tensile properties of natural rubber composites by replacing the conventional zinc oxide by Nano-zinc oxide as an activator. It has a small particle size and large surface area in comparison with conventional zinc oxide. In this paper, one compound has a conventional zinc oxide as an activator with concentration 8phr (part per hundred rubber) and eight compounds have Nano-zinc oxide as an activator with concentrations (0.2, 0.6, 1, 1.4, 1.8, 2.2, 2.6, 4) phr. The tensile test sample carried out by using the Monsanto T10 Tensometer. Results show that maximum values of tensile strength and elastic modulus at 300% are found with Nano-zinc oxide at 1.8 phr. Replacing the conventional zinc oxide by Nano-zinc oxide decreases the price of the compounds due to reducing the amount of zinc oxide inside the compounds by 77.5%. It also reduces the contamination of the environment and improves the tensile strength by 38.31%. http://dx.doi.org/10.30572/2018/kje/090105
ANALYZING OF THE TERRESTRIAL LASER SCANNER GEOREFERENCING USING GNSS
No full textRecent years have witnessed emerging the cutting-edge method for point cloud creation using terrestrial laser scanner (TLS). The TLS manufacturers declare accuracies of their instruments up to the millimeter level. However, different constraints could degrade the accuracy of point cloud created by TLS. One of the obvious factors that may directly affect the accuracy of the results is a method of registration and georeferencing. In this paper, the indirect georeferencing using GNSS has been researched. The real time kinematic (RTK) technique has been suggested to measure GNSS points. The conducted test shows that average of 30 minutes data RTK-GNSS is enough to coincide with TLS data. Also, test reveals no improvements when adding more GNSS points. Nevertheless, there is an improvement in accuracy when more scans are conducted.http://dx.doi.org/10.30572/2018/kje/09040
Current Density and Zitterbewegung in a Monolayer Graphene
No full textThe trembling motion as known the Zitterbewegung (ZB) in the monolayer graphene is studied within the long-wave approximation. We derive an analytical expression for the operator of the current density by using the Heisenberg representation, the current density describes the current induced by the motion of the electronic wave packet on the surface of the graphene sheet. It has been taking into consideration many values for the initial pseudo-spin polarization for the wave packet. The Heisenberg representation is used to analyze the interference between the conduction and valence bands of a quantum state. The interference leads to temporal oscillations for the average values of current density in the monolayer graphene.http://dx.doi.org/10.31257/2018/JKP/10020
Analgesic and Anti- Inflammatory Effects of Hydro Alcoholic Extract of (Syzygium aromaticum) in Albino Mice
No full textThe study was carried out to evaluate the analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties of an hydro alcoholic syzygium aromaticum extract (SAE) .The analgesic activity was measured by using the hot plate test with Twenty four (24) mice divided randomly into four groups , T1, T2 received 100 , 200 mg /kg.bw of (SAE) while T3 dosed 50 mg /kg.bw of diclofanic acid and T4 used as control negative and dosed distilled water (D.W.) . The anti-inflammatory activity was measured by using formalin test with Twenty four (24) mice divided randomly into four groups , T1and T2 dosed with 100 and 200 mg /kg.bw respectively of (SAE) while T3 group dosed 0.3 mg/kg.bw of meloxicam and T4 dosed with (D.W.) , (all groups dosed orally before half hour of test) and then calculate the time of analgesia and anti-inflammatory effects . The result showed there is significant increase(p˂0.05) in time of analgesia and significant decreases (p˂0.05) in number of licking in animal exposed to (SAE) comparing with that of control , also there is significant increase(p˂0.05) in time of analgesia and decrease in licking in animals received diclofanic acid and meloxicam respectively comparing with those received (SAE) and D.W the increase was dose dependent manner. Prevalence of Schistosomiasis among Patients attending hospitals in Babylon province
No full textUrine samples of 592 patients , attending hospitals were collected to detected prevalence of Schistosoma haematobium parasite in Babylon province . it's found that only 2 patients were infected (0.4%). The infected cases recorded in September / 2016 and June / 2017 ( Case in each month ) . The 2 positive cases were males out of 228 male patients (0.9%), while no infection found among females . one of the infected cases recorded among 84 individuals in the category 6-14 years (1.2%) , second case was among 44 individuals in the category 15-30 years (2.3%) . This research analyzes narrative structure of “The Tale of Afshin and Boudlof” from Bayhaqi's "History" based on the ideas of French structuralist, Gérard Genette.The narrative levels of this work has been studied in interaction with the components of duration, mood, and voice) to uncover its specific narrative structure and Bayhaqi’s writing power in taking advantage of the possibilities of language and literary. Unlike believers in the idea that past proses of Persian literature just stories and narrations and they lack ordered structure and strong plot, this research shows the ordered structure and strong plot of the studied case according to ideas of Gérard Genette

Assessment The Quality of Life of Thalassemic Major Children in Duhok City
Get PDFABSTRACT: Background: Thalassemia Major is a preventable genetic disorder characterized by abnormal hemoglobin synthesis and needs long life blood transfusions. Therefore, attention to the quality of life of these children is very necessary Objective: Assess the quality of life among children with thalassemia major. Methods: A descriptive cross sectional study was conducted at Jeen pediatric hematology and oncology center in Duhok city for the period from Jan. 15th to May 25th. 2017 to assess quality of life of children suffering from Thalassemia Major, and finding a You mention to finding the relationship between domain but in result to applied differences between domains of quality of life and socio-demographic variables. Eighty-eight children randomly selected between ages (5–18 years) were enrolling in the study who is reviewing Jeen pediatric hematology and oncology center in Duhok city. Information were collected through the use Peds QL 4.0 generic core scale questionnaire, which included physical domain (8) items, emotional domain (5) items, social domain (5) items, and school domain (5) items. Results: The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant correlation between the all domains of quality of life and some variables like education, family history, income level, frequency of blood transfusion, history of spleenectomy, and non-statistically significant correlation of some variables like age and gender , Conclusion: The quality of life scores were best for boys as compared to girls. Recommendations: The authorities should develop plans to improve quality of life of these patients. Whereas early diagnosis, regular visiting, financial and education support are the major factors of intervention to improve the overall quality of life of these children, the researcher also recommends conducting further studies on large samples. المناطات الأساس للفكر العربي بين بدايته والمسير الى النهضة
No full textلابد ان تنطلق الأفكار من واقع حتى يؤخذ بها ، وهذا الواقع يرتكز على معطيات سار عليها المجتمع الانساني في تحولاته المعرفية وتندرج ضمن اطر ومفاهيم تخص كل مرحلة ، ولعل ثقافة وفكر أي واقع يتصل بجملة من المعطيات توصله الى مايريد ، او ترجعه الى نقاط منها البداية والنهاية ، وعلى هذا الامر تفرعت في الفكر العربي افرع كثيرة اريد منها التوفيق تارة والمزواجة تارة اخرى والانقطاع ثالثة وغير ذلك ، وما تأسس من بلورة مشروع النهضة والتجديد وتحقيب المفردات والمصطلحات التاريخية كقراءة واعية واعدة في فهم متطلبات المجتمع العربي اينما كان وكيفما كان ، وبالرغم من أن الفكر العربي قام قياما صحيحا كما اعتقد مع دخول الاسلام على هذه الامة ، فإن الواقع الذي إنتهجه العرب اشترك مع مختلف توجهات الحياة الفكرية والعمل على دفع المقايسة كحركة تطبيق في المجتمع نفسه ، لمنهجة الفعل وردوده لتحقيق البقاء ضمن اليات النجاح ،كل هذه الموارد اكدت الخطوات التي من خلالها تتضح معالم الفكر الاسلامي ليصل الى كل بقعة من بقاع الارض يخصص منهجية للكل ، لا يخصص منهجية للبعض كما فعلت البعض من المنهجيات التي تؤطر لعمل تكاملي خاص ، بينما الفكر الاسلامي يريد أن يصل الى عمل تكاملي عام يوقف المنازعات ويبعدها عن مجتمع التواصل الذي يعمل على استقرار الوضع لأنه لاينظر الى العمل التواصلي من ناحية البعد المثلوجي او البعد العاطفي فقط ، بل لابد أن يكون هناك أبعاد اخرى تنطلق فتنصهر كل مكونات هذا العمل من قبيل المنطق والبرهان ، والاستدلال على كل ما يحتاج الى تعقيب ، فطروحات الفكر العربي بعضا منها تؤكد على ضرورة الدين في المجتمع حتى يحصل الفرد على سعادته في الدنيا والاخرة ، أي بصريح العبارة اراد اسعاد الروح والجسد معا ، دون الانزواء الى حيثيات ابعاد الانسان عن انسانيته بل يبقى واضحا في كلا الامرين ، الفكر الاسلامي مرهون لديه بضرورات تحكمه وتجعل الفرد المنتمي الى هذا الفكر يجب أن يصرح دائما بهواجسه المنطلقة دوما من القران كدستور للفرد يعلمه الاحكام ، والحديث وتوابع هذا الفكر ليصل الفرد الى ميزان واقعي واحد يصلح من خلاله نفسه والاخر ، الذي يريد الى اصلاح وارشاد ولكن بشرط أن لا تكون بعيدة عن متناول افراد المجتمع بكليتهم ، أي ان لا تغيب مفردة التطبيق عن هذا الفكر حتى لايركن على رفوف المكتبات دون قراءة ، والاخر يبتعد عن هذه الطروحات أي لايجعل للدين والتراث مكانا مما اسس لحداثة مفرطة ركنت الى المغالاة ايضا ، من خلال البحث سأعرض الى شخصيات تناولت كلا الطرفين من السنة والشيعة والايدلوجيات الاخرى عسى ان نوفق امام القاريء لنقل هذه الوقائع
