    No full text
Background:Schizophrenia is mental illness described by atypical behavior and a reduced ability to understanding truth. Symptom include false beliefs, confused thinking unclear or, hearing voice and other   People do not, reduced emotional expression, social engagement and lack of motivation. Schizophrenia patient often have other mental health problems like depressive, anxiety, or substance-use disorders. Methods:During the period from January 2019 to May 2019, a total of 37 patients with TRS and 37 control without autoimmune disease non-pregnant were included in this study. All these parsons were attending the AL Hakeem General hospital, their ages grouped from (18-70) years. Male to Female ratio 1/1. Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR), White Blood Cell Count to prove all participants in this study free from infectious disease for exclusion criteria. IL6, IL18 and FH-125 in serum samples were measured by (ELISA)

Impact of foliar application with dry yeast suspension and amino acid on vegetative growth, yield and quality characteristics of Olive

    No full text
Bashika Olive trees (Olea europaea L.) were sprayed twice at full bloom stage and one month after that one with dry yeast suspension (5, 10g.L-1) and amino acid (1, 2ml.L-1), alone and in combination besides control (spraying with water only) during 2017 and 2018 growing seasons. Results showed that foliar spraying of dry yeast  suspension at 10g.L-1 with amino acid 2ml.L-1 gave the highest significant value of vegetative growth( leaf area, total chlorophyll leaf content) and foliar spraying of dry yeast  suspension at 10g.L-1 with amino acid 1,2ml.l-1 gave the highest significant value of carbohydrate leaf content and carbohydrate shoot percentage in first season and dry yeast  suspension at 10g.L-1 with amino acid 2ml.L-1 in second season. Also, results showed that dry yeast suspension at 5g.L-1with amino acid at 1ml.L-1 exhibited increase of fruit weight and fruit flesh weight in both seasons respectively. While, dry yeast suspension at 10g.L-1with amino acid at 1ml.L-1 treatment gave the highest significant average yield per tree-1in first and dry yeast suspension at 10g.L-1with amino acid at 0 ml.L-1 in second season.Treatment of dry yeast suspension at 10g.L-1with amino acid at 0,1and 2 ml.L-1 gave the highest significant value of fruit protein content in the first season and dry yeast  suspension at 10g.L-1with amino acid at 1,2 ml.L-1 in seconed season, Dry yeast  suspension at 10g.L-1with amino acid at 1,2 m.L-1 treatment gave the highest significant value of fruit oil content in both seasons respectively and highest value of  percentage of unsaturated fatty acids  in the first season

p53, PTEN Tumor Suppressor Gene Methylation in Thyroid Cancer

    No full text
Background and objective: DNA methylation serves as an alternative to the mutational inactivation due to epigenetic event that alters gene expression without changing its DNA sequence. Such alterations may silence putative DNA repair genes and tumor suppressor genes whose role is undisputed in malignant transformation. This study was performed to detect the frequency of p53 and PTEN methylation in different thyroid cancers.

Characterisation of ADAMs (protein)of bovine seminal plasma by Mass Spectrometr

    No full text
This study has been designed to analyse the secreted and soluble proteins in bovine seminal plasma by mass spectrometry. The majority of these proteins are produced by accessory glands, and partially by testis, epididymis, ductus deferens and vas deferens of male reproductive tract.Seminal plasma of bovine was collected freshly and isolated after centrifuged and removed the sperm.  Non boiled and boiled seminal plasma lysate were run to identify and detect the total proteins, as well as the individual single member of ADAMs protein is determined. The non-boiled lysate of seminal plasma was displayed diversity of proteins more than boiled sample lysate of seminal plasma. However, boiled and non-boiled seminal plasma have distinguished several types of ADAMs protein which are included: ADAM10, ADAM9, ADAM7, ADAM15 in non-boiled samples, while boiled lysate of bovine seminal plasma was displayed ADAM10, ADAM9, ADAM28, and ADAM22.Our finding concluded that bovine seminal plasma is very rich in different types of soluble, cleaved and shed proteins such ADAMs protein which could potentially have a biological and physiological role in protection and interactions of sperm during motility inside female reproductive tract, as it might support it to fertilise the ovum. This protection might be via immunosuppression behaviour or by block specific receptors in female reproductive tract for enhancing sperm motility, and avoid sperm the singling response of immunity.

A Simple and General Analytical Expression for Calculating Crosstalk in Multiwaveguide Directional Couplers Using Finite Differences Method

    No full text
In optical communication systems, the main aim is to control and limit the unwanted Crosstalk (CT) effects on wavelength divisions multiplexing (WDM) channel, which degrade the transmission performance. To do this, a simple approximate formula was presented for calculating the CT of multiwaveguide directional coupler (DC) using Finite Differences (FD) method. Through this formula, the input power can be controlled to be entered from one specified channel, which is required in some applications. Then, the evolution of the power has been determined without using Beam Propagation Method (BPM). The purpose of this paper is to calculate the CT for arbitrary input channel. Result obtained from this formula are in a complete agreement with the previous works for two and three waveguide directional couplers. DOI:  http://dx.doi.org/10.31257/2018/JKP/2019/110202
