The synergestic effect of probiotic and Levamisole on antibody titre of Newcastle disease in presence of E.coli as stress
This study was conducted to investigate the effects of probiotic (poultry star®), and immunmodulator (levamisole) in feed additive and in drinking water as synergistic or each one alone on immune response post routine vaccination and challenge with Newcastle disease virus and E.coli, also on means lesion score in (air sac, heart and liver). one hundred Ross broiler chicks were used from 1 day to 35 day old, divided randomly to five groups (20 birds/group), diet and drinking water offered ad libitium, experimental groups treated as follows: Group one: received poultry star® as feed additive in dose (2×1011 CFU/kg) from one day till the end of the experiment. Group two: received levamisole (10µg/kg B.w.) in drinking water from one day till the end of the experiment. Group three: received levamisole (10µg/kg B.W.) in drinking water plus poultry star in feed additive in dose (2×1011 CFU) from one day till the end of the experiment. Group four: control positive positive (vaccinated not treated). Group five: Control negative (not vaccinated not treated). All groups except the control (negative) vaccinated with ND vaccine (La Sota strain) orally in drinking water at (5 and 15) days and vaccinated with IBD vaccine (intermediate strain) at 12 days. The challenge was carried out through intranasal inoculation with virulent ND virus (100LD50, 1×106) at day 20, exposed to intratracheal inoculation with E.coli (3×107 CFU/ml) at day 22. The obtained results referred to the synergistic effect of probiotic and levamisole in group three that enhanced the immunity against Newcastle virus, also less means level of air sac lesion, pericarditis and perihepatitis score as compared with single effect in the groups (first and second) and also compared with control negative and positive groups. NDV and E.coli Challenge caused high morbidity and no mortality in all vaccinated group compared with control negative. Therefore, all the additive materials (probiotic, levamisole) protected the chicks from bacterial infection E.coli. But did not protect the chicks from infection with virulent NDV in spite of that reducing the severity of infection by reduced the viral replication
A Comparative Study of The Effect of Red Laser Wavelength and Green Laser Wavelength on The Healing of Achilles Tendon Injury In Rabbits
This study was designed to compare the effect of laser wavelength treatment on an injured Achilles tendon; between two laser types red laser(650nm-10w) and green laser(532nm-10w). 18 rabbits, male and mature were used in the present study, the animals were divided into three groups, a control group, red laser group and green laser group. Each group was tenoctomized the Achilles tendon, two groups were treated with one joule red laser and one joule green laser for 10 minutes daily for 14 days, laser beam applied vertically on the tendon dorsally, while the control group leaves to conventional recovery. The red laser group was showing significant values at P≤0.05 in most items or parameters while green laser group was showed convergence with a control group except few items at P≤0.05, as well as a red laser group show better healing sonographically while histopathologically , images reveal no different in all groups at microscopic observation. In conclusions: laser therapy mainly depends on wavelength more thandensity and red laser better than green laser in treatment of Achilles tendon injury
Immunofluorescence Identification of the Endocrine Cells in the Pancreatic Islets of the Camel (Camelus dromedarius)
The aim of the study and characterize the spread of two types of endocrine cells of the pancreatic alpha and beta with hormones in one hump camel (Camelus dromedaries ) by using immunofluorescence technique and compositions histological study of the pancreas. Conducted the study on the pancreas to twelve of the camels from AL-Dwaynia province slaughter house , six animal for histological study and six other for immunofluercent study . To identify two types of endocrine cells in the pancreas with endocrine hormones. By use specific antisera multiple glucagon peptide-1 and Glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide. The results showed that the distribution of these types of immune cells in the pancreas difference. Immunoreactive cells (beta) cells, the most numerous and take a central position and surround the pancreatic islets . The most distinct delineation of the islets from the surrounding acini. Glucose-dependent insulinotropic peptide -immunoreactive cells (β-cells) were most numerous followed by Glucagon like peptide-1 (α-) -immunoreactive cells in decreasing order . Alpha cells were mostly observed as clumps in the periphery area. The result concluded from the current study, the difference in the distribution of these cells depends on the type of species when compared to the results of this study with other results
Microscopic and morphometric study of the proventriculus and ventriculus of the Striated Scope Owl (Otus Scors brucei) in Iraq
The stomach of the Striated Scope Owl (OtusScorsbrucei) consist of two externally distinguishable chambers: that are the proventriculus (glandular part which secretes the gastric juices) and the gizzard (ventriculus) which has a mechanical function. The proventriculus of longitudinal shape is cranially continuous with the esophagus. The gizzard was rounded shape with a thin wall is extended caudally to the proventriculus. The proventriculus was thick-walled and short (the mean length was 11.4mm , 7.1mm in diameter and 1mm3 in volume). The wall was constructed of the four typical layers of the tubular organ, that are tunica mucosa, submucosa, tunica muscularisand tunica serosa. The average thickness of each tunicawas 3240 mm, 14280 mm, 960 µm and 120 µm, respectively. The Gizzard was rounded sac surrounded by fatty tissue. Noticeably, it lack the smooth muscles fibers which are usually found in the developing gizzard and absence of the keratinoid lining of the mucosal surface. The mean length was 24.34 mm, 12.7 mm in diameter and 3 mm3 in volume.Similarly to the proventriculus, the gizzard’s wall was constructed of the same four tunics that are tunica mucosa, submucosa, tunica muscularisand tunica serosa. The average thicknesses of these tunicae are 1560 mm, 1680 mm, 3240 µm and 120 µm, respectively

تناول هذا البحث دراسة تطور حجم السكان في اليمن في سنوات القرن العشرين وتوقعاته في عام 2024. استند البحث الى نتائج التعددات التي نفذت في شطري البلاد وعلى التقديرات التي وضعها المجلس الوطني للسكان والهيأة العربية والدولية للفترات الزمنية التي سبقت اجراء التعدادات . وبحساب المعدل السنوي للنمو تم تقدير حجم السكان في عام 2024 بحوالي 33.000.000 نسمة .حاولت الدراسة ان تحدد اربع مراحل لنمو السكان هي مراحل اقتصادية اجتماعية ديموغرافية مرت بها اليمن خلال سنوات القرن العشرين
ظاهرة القارية في مناخ العراق ومناخ ايران دراسة مقارنة
تعد القارية سمة اساسية من سمات مناخ منطقة الدراسة، وان ثمة تباين مكاني في درجاتها، اذ تراوحت هذه الدرجات في مناخ العراق مابين 6ر45 في محطة الرطبة و 1ر52 في محطة النجف، فيما تراوحت في مناخ ايران مابين 8ر22 في محطة جاسك و3ر55 في محطة سنندج.وان نمطي المناخ القاري وشبه القاري يشغلان نسبة 100% من مساحة العراق، في حين يشغلان نسبة 92ر74% من اجمالي مساحة ايران.ويظهر في ايران نمطي المناخ البحري وشبه البحري اللذان يشغلان نسبة 08ر25 % من مجموع مساحتها ويسودان في اقصى الشمال وفي اقصى الجنوب،حيث المؤثرات البحرية لبحر قزوين وللخليج العربي وخليج عما
فصل مزيج المركبات الفينولية على بعض الأطوار السائلة الثابتة باستخدام تقنية كروماتوغرافيا الغاز

Synthesis,Characterization of Some Metal Complexes with bis[O,O-2,3;O,O-5,6-(thiol(carboxylic)methylidene)]-L-Ascorbic Acidand Studies their Biological Activity
The reaction of bis[O,O-2,3;O,O-5,6-(chloro(carboxylic)methylidene)]-L-ascorbic acid with the excessof Sodium sulfide gave new product bis[O,O-2,3;O,O-5,6-(Thiol(carboxylic)methylidene)]-L-ascorbicacid(LS), which was isolated and characterized by 1H,13C-NMR, elemental analysis (C.H.N.S), massspectroscopy, UV-visible and Fourier Transform infrared (FTIR) methods. The complexes of the ligand(LS) with metal ions, M2+= (Cu, Co, Ni, Cd, Hg) and Cr3+ were synthesized and characterized by FTIR,UV-Visible, molar conductance, atomic absorption, magnetic susceptibility, elemental analysis (C.H.N.S)methods. The analysis showed that the ligand (LS) is coordinating with metal ions through thetetradentate carboxylato and thiol groups manner resulting in six-coordinated metal ion in an octahedralgeometry. The TLC for (LS) and complexes showed one spot for each indicating the purity of thesecompounds.The study of biological activity of the ligand (LS) and (Co2+, Cu2+, Cd2+) complexes showed variousactivities toward two types of pathogenic bacteria are Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.Key words: Synthesis; Bis[O,O-2,3;O,O-5,6-(thiol(carboxylic)methylidene)]-L-ascorbic acid; metal Complexes;biological activit
Extraction of Nickel (II) From Aqueous Solutions By Using 2-[ (4-Bromo Phenyl) Azo]-4,5-Diphenyl Imidazole
The extraction of Nickel has been studied as complex with 2-[ (4-Bromo phenyl) azo]-4,5-diphenyl imidazole which dissolved in chloroform .This search comprises the following aspects: the optimum pH values for extraction was (pHext. = 9 ), so the suitable concentration of Ni(II) ions in aqueous solution which is giving highest distribution ratio (D) was (80 μg ) ,studying effect of extraction time illustrated the optimum shaking time to reach the equilibria was ten minute .It was found from experiments that the best value of D when the concentration of ligand equal to [3x10-5 M ] , from other hand organic solvents shows that there is no linear relation ship between dielectric constant of organic solvents and distribution ratio (D) of extraction ,but there is an effect for the organic solvent structure. The thermodynamic study demonstrates the complexation reaction is an exothermic at temperature degrees (20 0C - 70 0C)
