No full textيهدف البحث الى معرفة أسباب ودوافع العنف ضد الطفل والمرأة بالذات، ومخاطبة المؤسسات ومراكز العنف الأسري وتطويرها. ويتوزع البحث في مبحثين، يتناول الأول التعريف بالعنف الأسري ومعرفة أسبابه وأشكاله في ثلاثة مطالب هي (التعريف بالغنف الأسري) و (أسباب العنف الأسري) و (أشكال العنف الأسري)، في حين يتناول المبحث الثاني أحكام الجنين في خمسة مطالب هي (أحكام ميراث الجنين) و (عنف الإجهاض وأحكامه) و (صور عنف الإجهاض قبل ولوج الروح) و (العنف في الاجهاض بعد ولوج الروح) و (تزاحم حياة الأم مع الجنين)، وقد اعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج المقارن للمقارنة بين المذاهب الإسلامية في موضوع البحث.، وختم البحث بأهم النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة

EFFECT OF NOTCH DIMENSION AND LOCATION ON FATIGUE LIFE AND THERMAL BEHAVIOR OF LOW CARBON STEEL (ST37-2)
No full textThe effect of depth and location of the notch on the v-notched specimen on fatigue life of cantilever rotating beam of low carbon steel (ST37-2) is studied, by applying fully reversed cycle load of 150 N, and mean stress of Zero. The temperature variations during fatigue life were measured by infrared camera at three points in specimens. These points are the edge point, notch point and other specified points. Numerically, the finite element model of fatigue test was obtained using the ANSYS Workbench. The ANSYS model was based on the S/N curve measured experimentally. From the results, there is a notch position that changed the fracture position from the notch position to the edge position. Also, fatigue life can be increased by putting the notch in appropriate position on the specimen. The temperature variation at different points in the specimen gave a good prediction to the fracture position before the fracture occurs. Also, from the comparison between experimental and numerical results, the two curves were similar but the ANSYS model based on the experimental S/N curve gave a good prediction for fatigue life

No full textTungsten Trioxide (WO3) thin films with a various crystal structure have been fabricated by a magnetron sputtering method. The effect of changing of crystal structure on the Electrochromic (EC) property was investigated. Atomic force microscopy (AFM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) have been employed to investigate morphology and structure. For EC measurement, 0.1M LiClO4 aqueous solution was used as electrolyte, and Pt and Ag/AgCl were used for counter and reference electrodes respectively. WO3 thin film with a various structure has been obtained by changing reactive gas (Ar) gas and O2 flow rates. Fabricated WO3 thin films with 002 and 112 crystal structures have a high Electrochromic (EC) response

Assessment of the Quality of End of Life Conditions and Care of Children Admitted to Oncology, Haematology Centre and Critical Illness in ICU Children Centre
No full textBackground: The majority of deaths among hospitalized children happen in the Oncology, Haematology Unit and also in the ICU. There is no well-defined, reliable and valid method for measuring the quality of end-of-life care in the field of pediatric palliative care; further, limited studies that have examined the quality of dyeing experience among children in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.The aim of this study was to assess the nurse's perceptions regarding the quality of children dying experience in the Sulaimanea Oncology and ICU Centre.Methodology:A cross- sectional descriptive studywas conducted and sixty nurses (30 Oncology and 30 ICU nurses) were recruited in the study.The data collection started from May 20th to July 20th 2016. Study objectives were addressed using a survey design; a modified validated Quality of Death and Dying questionnaire and open ended questions were used in order to collect the quantitative and qualitative data Findings:Results:The majority of participants reported that cancer dying children were significantly suffered pain, bleeding, stress and terrified from the hospital more than ICU dying children and also cancer children, family seem to stay with their child during death time more than the ICU children families. Nurses in both settings faced three barriers in offering the end of life care, such as no palliative unit available along with no adequate palliative care offered to the patients as standard in both Oncology and critical care settings (Institution and organizational barrier). Further, the family also makes a barrier as they spent too much time with their children and participate in the care of their children (family barrier), and limited role of the nurses barrier.Conclusion: The findings of the present study conclude that there are some significant differences between the quality of a child's death between Cancer and non- Cancer patients Three barriers were reported by the nurses that may hinder the access of end of life services, such as (Institution and organizational barrier, family barrier and limited role of the nurse’s barrier)Recommendations: Standard end of life care is necessary to manage deterioration patients and also a continuous specific end of life care education course are required for the nurse working in these settings.Keywords:End of life care, Palliative care, Cancer, Children, Critical illness, Intensive care unit
