No full textيخلص البحث إلى توضيح أهم المعايير التخطيطية لاستعمالات الأرض المختلفة اللازمة لتوفير أفضل استخدام وبأكبر قدر من الراحة ، وقد تناول البحث مدينة النجف الأشرف من خلال إبراز إستعمالات الأرض في أحيائها السكنية وحساب مساحات الإستعمالات ونسبها لتهيئتها للمخططين والباحثين الآخرين وأصحاب العلاقة في دراساتهم واتخاذ قرارات المعالجة والتغيير إن وجدت ، بالإضافة إلى المقارنة بين نسب استعمالات الأرض داخل هذه الأحياء وتقييمها على أساس أعلى نسبة إستعمالات للأرض تستفيد منها الأسرة الساكنة داخل الوحدة السكنية الواحدة .وقد إعتمد البحث على تقنية نظم المعلومات الجغرافية باستخدام برنامج ArcGIS10 لبناء قاعدة معلومات جغرافية قابلة للتحديث بإستعمالات الأرض ، وإنتاج خرائط قطاعية أساس للأحياء السكنية في المدينة لرفد الجهات الحكومية والمؤسسات الأكاديمية بنماذج مخططاتية بتقنيات حديثة وبدقة عالية جدا

No full textتعتبر بحوث نشر الخرائط على شبكة الإنترنت وبإستخدام نظم المعلومات الجغرافية GIS من البحوث التي تتناول واحداً من أهم مواضيع التكنولوجيا وأحدثها ، لما للتواصل بين مختلف المستفيدين من مختلف مناطق العالم حضوراً قوياً في وقتنا الراهن بسبب ثورة ظهور برامج التواصل الاجتماعي ، ما يدفعنا كمختصين بالخرائط وبرامجها من الحضور وبقوة وسط هذه الثورة بوضع بيانات كل منا بمتناول يد الآخر وخلق خرائط تفاعلية حية يمكن للجميع الوصول إليها .وقد أوجز البحث أهمية مدينتي النجف والكوفة الدينية والتاريخية وما يعكسه ذلك على السياحة الدينية في البلاد ، وقد بين المزارات ومواقعها ومعلومات مختصرة عن كل منها ، كما تناول البحث الكيفية التي على أساسها يقوم الإنترنت بنشر الخرائط إعتماداً على بعض الخوادم المختصة بالأمر .لقد خرج البحث بجملة من النتائج التي نختصرها هنا بإنشاء قاعدة بيانات جغرافية قابلة للتحديث للمواقع الدينية في مدينتي النجف والكوفة وكذلك إتمام عملية نشرها على الإنترنت ، بالإضافة إلى أنشاء حساب خاص وتجمع على موقع مؤسسة ESRI يهدف إلى التواصل والتعرف على كل جديد يخص العمل بنظم المعلومات الجغرافية .وأخيراً نذكر هنا التوصيات التي خرج بها البحث والمتمثلة بـِحَـثُّ الباحثين والمختصين على تكثيف الدراسة حول الموضوع لإنشاء طبقة أكبر من المستخدمين وبالتالي بيانات متبادلة أكبر ، أي نفع أكثر بين المراكز والمؤسسات .
Analysis of Collocational Errors in Selected Iraqi Published Papers
Get PDFThe present study attempts to identify and analyse the collocational errors committed in writing by Iraqi EFL researchers whose major is English. The corpus involves (10 ) papers chosen randomly from various Iraqi universities. The research aims at identifying and analyzing both lexical and grammatical collocationalerrors. The results show that the performance of Iraqi researchers in both patterns seems to be influenced by L1 transfer. Moreover, it is found that other factors contribute to the high frequency of collocation errors committed by them, namely the lack knowledge of collocationalskills, especially with regard to collocationalrestriction,the misuse of synonyms, and thetendencyforovergeneralization. Furthermore, it is found that lexical collocation is the most recurrent error throughout the data. This is due to the grammar-based method ,which is broadly adopted in Iraqi classes
Identification of Healthy Lifestyle for Preconception Period among High School Females’ at Al-Amara City
Get PDFAbstractObjective: To assess of healthy lifestyle and to find out the association between healthy lifestyle and socio-demographic characteristics among high school students.Methodology: A descriptive study was conducted from (3) November 2015 to (9) May 2016 in the City of Al-Amara. A simple random sampling used to select 8 out of 17 high schools. A systematic random sampling was used to draw a sample (n =214) out of 2192 high schools females. The data was collected by interview method through the use of constructed questionnaires, which consist of two parts. Part one socio-demographic characteristic and part two which consist of 6 domains including: nutrition, physical activity, weight control, taking of vaccinations, stress management, and avoids infection with toxoplasmosis. The data analyzed through the use of the descriptive by Frequency, Percentage, Mean of Score and Standard deviation and inferential statistical analysis through Correlation Coefficient.Results: The mean score of health lifestyle for preconception period among of the females it was moderate (2.25 ± 0.378) with the majority sample 131 (61.2%) in moderate level. Moreover, highly a significant associations were found between socio-demographic characteristics and aspects of preconception healthy lifestyle at (P< 0.01), except the some variables which showed non-significant association with aspects of preconception healthy lifestyle at (P ˃ 0.05).Conclusion: Female students considered at higher risk of developing unhealthy behaviors. Findings of the study showed more than two thirds of sample with in moderate level of health lifestyle. Furthermore, the results indicate that there was highly a significant association between some variables, except the age, type of family, father survival and job of father showed were non-significant association.Recommendation: Schoolteachers and health service providers must be cooperation for spreading health behavior among students that these phase is important and called safe motherhood, by lay scientific posters, and holding parents meeting in order to illustrate the importance healthy lifestyle during the period of preconception Such as exercise constantly, weight control, eating fat-free healthy food to reduce life-threatening adverse outcomes of preconception.Key words: Preconception; Health Lifestyle; Females

DISCOURSAL ANALYSIS OF LEXICAL BUNDLES IN POLITICAL SPEECHES
No full textThis study investigates a new category of word combination referred to as lexical bundles. Lexical bundles has been defined by Biber et. al. (1999) as " sequences of three or more words that show a statistical tendency to co-occur" (Ibid:183). The study aims at exploring the functions of lexical bundles in political speeches, finding out the types of bundles used in political speeches. The study adopts Biber (2006) model of classification to the analysis of lexical bundles in some British political speeches.
