Get PDFWe have two purposes in this article. The first is to explore the definition of micromanagement by reviewing research papers and empirical studies. Micromanagement is a commonly used term, but there is no clear definition for the research. Second, we try to understand the concept of excessive control in micromanagement from the fourth hunger of Transactional Analysis （Meredith, 2000）. Since Transactional Analysis is effective to change relationships from the behavioral and cognitive aspects, it will be effective for suggesting strategies for coping with negative side of micromanagement.departmental bulletin pape
Practice of Production of Hina no Tsurushi as a Way to Understand Local Traditional Culture During the Pandemic
Get PDFThe activities of the FY2020 Higashi-Izu Town Attractiveness Project will be discussed, focusing on the production of the traditional hanging decorations known as Hina no Tsurushi and the deepening of students’ understanding of the local traditional culture behind the production of these decorations.
This year’s project focused on self-introspection and practice at home, since there were restrictions on activities on and off campus. Because of these restrictions, in the Higashi-Izu-Town Charming Project, we focused on sewing hanging decorations of Hina dolls and disseminating them. Six students made individual Hina no Tsurusi decorations by hand. The decorations are thought to be auspicious for the healthy growth of children. The students combined the decorations they made into a pair of wheeled decorations. We will reflect on the cultural understanding gained up to this point, weaving in the words of students who contributed to S-LABO, and consider the significance of the project’s activities.departmental bulletin pape
