ANALISIS KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL BUDIDAYA SELADA PADA USAHA HIDROPONIK FRESH SAYURKU
Selada (Lactuca sativa L.), sayuran daun yang kaya serat, vitamin A, vitamin C, dan antioksidan, populer karena teksturnya yang renyah. Hidroponik selada, tanpa pestisida dan tampilan segar, diminati oleh masyarakat yang menjalani gaya hidup sehat. Penelitian ini mengkaji kelayakan finansial usaha budidaya selada di "Hidroponik Fresh Sayurku," didorong oleh permintaan sayuran segar di perkotaan dan terbatasnya lahan. Data primer berupa biaya investasi, operasional, dan hasil panen dianalisis menggunakan parameter finansial: Break Even Point (BEP), Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Payback Period (PP). Hasil menunjukkan usaha ini layak dengan BEP harga Rp. 2.711,00, BEP unit 32,6 kg/tahun, NPV Rp. 27.746.631,00, PI 20,3, IRR 720% per tahun, dan periode pengembalian modal 67 hari. Budidaya selada hidroponik di "Hidroponik Fresh Sayurku" memiliki potensi keuntungan tinggi. Penelitian lanjutan direkomendasikan untuk jenis sayuran lain guna meningkatkan ketahanan pangan dan pendapatan.

IMPACT OF MATERNAL WEIGHT GAIN AND INFLAMMATORY MARKERS ON NEONATAL IRON DEFICIENCY: A CROSS-SECTIONAL STUDY FROM A PEDIATRIC PERSPECTIVE
Background: Maternal health during pregnancy is crucial for neonatal outcomes, particularly regarding iron status. This study investigates the impact of maternal weight gain and inflammatory markers on neonatal iron deficiency in a cohort of mothers and their newborns. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted involving spontaneously delivered infants from single, full-term pregnancies, with Apgar scores ≥7 at the first minute and normal birth weights (≥2,500 to <4,000 grams). Maternal weight gain was categorized as "appropriate" or "inappropriate" based on the 2009 Institute of Medicine (IOM) recommendations. Maternal blood samples were collected during the third trimester, and infant iron status was assessed through hematological parameters and serum iron levels. Statistical analyses included the Mann-Whitney test and independent t-tests, with significance set at p < 0.05. Results: A total of 59.5% of mothers did not achieve appropriate weight gain, and 57.1% exhibited positive CRP levels, indicating inflammation. Infants born to mothers with appropriate weight gain had significantly better hematological parameters, including higher erythrocyte counts, hemoglobin, and hematocrit levels (p < 0.05). Conversely, infants of mothers with positive CRP levels demonstrated lower erythrocyte counts and hemoglobin levels, indicating a potential negative impact of maternal inflammation on iron transfer (p < 0.05). No significant differences in neonatal iron status were observed between infants born to anemic and non-anemic mothers. Discussion: The findings underscore the importance of monitoring maternal nutritional status and inflammatory markers during pregnancy. Adequate weight gain according to IOM guidelines is associated with improved neonatal iron status, while maternal inflammation negatively impacts iron transfer to the fetus. These results highlight the need for targeted interventions, including nutritional education and management of inflammatory conditions, to enhance maternal and neonatal health outcomes. Conclusion: This study contributes to the understanding of the relationships between maternal weight gain, inflammatory markers, and neonatal iron status. By addressing these factors, healthcare providers can improve outcomes for mothers and their newborns, ultimately promoting healthier populations
FINANCIAL ANALYSIS OF MICROFINANCE INSTITUTION: A CASE STUDY IN LKM-A PUAP SUBUR PURBALINGGA REGENCY
The Rural Agribusiness Development Program (PUAP) is a government program that aims to stimulate the development of Agribusiness Microfinance Institutions (LKM-A) so that they can provide sustainable financing to farmers. This study aimed to determine the financial performance of LKM-A PUAP Subur in Purbalingga Regency in 2019-2022. The study was conducted from April to June 2024 and included direct interviews with the management of LKM-A PUAP Subur in Purbalingga Regency. Data analysis was in the form of liquidity ratios, solvability, and profitability. The results of the liquidity analysis of LKM-A PUAP Subur during the 2019-2022 period showed that the cash ratio and the ratio of financing to funds received were liquid, which means that LKM-A PUAP Subur's ability to pay off its short-term debts was quite good so that the performance of LKM-A PUAP Subur was good. Solvency analysis with debt to assets and debt to equity criteria is not good, which means that LKM-A PUAP Subur's ability to pay off its long-term debts is not good, so it can be said that its performance is not good. The profitability ratio analysis using the net return on assets ratio and return on equity ratio shows fairly good criteria, which means that the performance of LKM-A PUAP Subur is good in generating operating profits
LOW-COST ADJUSTABLE AUTOMATIC IRRIGATION SYSTEM BASED ON SOIL MOISTURE AND WATERING TIME USING A SINGLE ARDUINO MEGA2560 FOR DRY LAND CULTIVATION
Accurate watering is an important aspect of optimum plant growth. It is necessary to continuously obtain the soil moisture status as the basis for watering time. Real-time monitoring can play an important role in monitoring the readily available moisture in the soil. This paper presents the adjustable automatic soil moisture control design for dry land cultivation based on soil moisture and watering time. We used a low-cost capacitive sensor and Real Time Clock 1307 as soil humidity and timer sensors. The automatic control employs a single Arduino Mega2560 microcontroller for a data acquisition system, including a real-time clock, memory card, keypad, display, and irrigation actuators. The calibration was based on the soil sensor voltage provided by the capacitive sensors and the measured soil moisture content using the Gravimetric method. Then, the calibration model is embedded in the Arduino. The range of desired points of soil moisture and watering time could be set and adjusted using the keypad. There are three default set points of soil moisture (i.e., 40% to 42%, 60% to 62%, and 80 to 82%) and watering time (08:00, 12:00, and 17:00)
STUDY OF PYROCLASTIC BRECCIA WEATHERING IN PRENDENGAN VILLAGE, PAWINIHAN MOUNTAIN, BANJARMANGU, BANJARNEGARA
The lithology of pyroclastic breccia is the lithology that forms the basis of the rock in the Pawinihan mountain landslide that occurred in 2006. This landslide resulted in a large number of victims, more than 80 people died. The landslide occurred in the weathering of the Rogojembangan pyroclastic breccia rock in Banjarnegara Regency. So to find out the weathering factors that affect landslides, a study was carried out on the degree of weathering of pyroclastic breccias. The degree of weathering of pyroclastic breccias plays an important role in supporting the occurrence of landslides because the slip surface is at the degree of weathering. The method used is the identification of the level of weathering with the standard British method for heterogeneous materials. The result obtained is that there is a weathering degree of one to six that can be observed in the field. And the slip surface occurs at weathering levels 3 and 4, so that this weathering level is used as the limit of the slip surface for landslides in pyroclastic breccias
EFFECT OF GLOBAL ENERGY AND FOOD PRICES AND EXCHANGE RATE ON ENERGY AND NON-ENERGY IMPORT DEMAND: EMPIRICAL EVIDENCE FROM INDONESIA
This research aims to analyze the effect of changes in global energy and food prices and exchange rates on demand for oil and gas and non-oil and gas imports in Indonesia. This research applies the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model to capture long-run and short-run effects. The research period taken was 2012M01 – 2023M02. Empirical findings show that in the long run, global oil prices, food prices, and exchange rates have a negative effect on demand for oil and gas imports in Indonesia. Meanwhile, global food prices have a negative effect on non-oil and gas imports. Indonesia, which still depends on imports of non-oil and gas commodities, especially food imports, will be vulnerable to food inflation problems caused by food imports. In the short run, the influence of oil prices and exchange rates on oil and gas imports is distributed over several months. Meanwhile, coal prices and the exchange rate have a negative effect on non-oil and gas imports. In the short run, imports of oil and gas and non-oil and gas commodities, which tend to be uncontrolled by changes in world commodity prices and exchange rates, need to be a concern for policymakers in reducing the impact on domestic inflation. THE EFFECTIVENESS OF PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODELS ON LEARNING TO WRITE SHORT STORY TEXTS
The specific purpose of this study is to explain the effectiveness of the project-based learning model on learning to write short story texts. The long-term goal of this research is to increase knowledge, especially in knowing the effectiveness of project-based learning models in learning to write short story texts. This study uses a quasi-experimental design method. This research was conducted for three years. The results of the first year of research were (1) the average score of the pretest of writing short story texts using the project-based learning model was 68.25, (2) the average score of the posttest of writing short story texts using the project-based learning model was 80.33, (3) there was an increase in scores of 12.08 after using the project-based learning model for writing short story texts, (4) the use of the project-based learning model to write short story texts was effective used because the average value after treatment has increased
HYDROLYSIS OF SOYBEAN PROTEIN WITH ANTIOXIDANT ACTIVITY BY FRACTIONATED PROTEASE FROM Bacillus subtilis B298
Research has been carried out to obtain bioactive peptides with antioxidant potential from soybean protein. Bioactive peptides were produced by enzymatic hydrolysis using fractionated protease with the highest specific activity from Bacillus subtilis B298 bacteria. The aim of the research was to determine: the biochemical characteristics of fractionated protease with the highest specific activity, the effect of variations in hydrolysis time on the antioxidant activity of bioactive peptides by protease, the AAI (Antioxidant Activity Index) and the hemolysis percentage of bioactive peptide with the highest antioxidant activity. This research was carried out in stages: extraction and fractionation of the protease enzyme, characterization of the protease fraction with the highest specific activity, hydrolysis of soybean protein with varying incubation times of 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 and 60 minutes, antioxidant activity test, determination of AAI and percentage of hemolysis of bioactive peptide with the highest antioxidant activity. The results showed that the protease fraction with the highest specific activity was F15 with an optimum temperature of 45 °C and an optimum pH of 8. The highest antioxidant activity was obtained from bioactive peptide which was hydrolysed for 10 minutes with an inhibition percentage of 63.1%. The AAI was obtained at 0.119 and the hemolysis percentage was 3%
UTILIZATION OF MAGNETIC ANOMALY DATA TO LOCALIZE GROUNDWATER FRACTURES IN VOLCANIC ROCK COMPLEXES IN THE SITU TIRTA MARTA AREA, PURBALINGGA REGENCY, CENTRAL JAVA, INDONESIA
Magnetic surveying is one of the geophysical exploration techniques which can be applied to investigate subsurface conditions including groundwater by utilizing the magnetic susceptibility properties of rocks. The study purposes to localize groundwater fractures in the volcanic rock complexes of the Situ Tirta Marta Kutasari area of Purbalingga Regency based on magnetic anomaly data analysis. The research area is an area below the groundwater recharge area for the Purwokerto-Purbalingga Groundwater Basin located on the slopes of Slamet Volcano. The study began with the acquisition of total magnetic intensity data at 256 predetermined location points. The spatial distance between data points was made closer (i.e. 100 m) with a regular pattern forming a grid. The processing of total magnetic intensity data was carried out in several stages including some corrections and reductions so that local magnetic anomalies data were obtained with values ranging from -1408.16 - 775.95 nT. Furthermore, the local magnetic anomalies data were reduced to the pole so that the values obtained range from -2022.48 - 1522.89 nT. First Horizontal Derivative (FHD) analysis of local magnetic anomalies data that have been reduced to the pole shows a maximum horizontal gradient patterns interpreted as the boundaries of lithological contacts in the form of fractures within or between volcanic rock complexes. The fractures in the volcanic rocks are estimated to be groundwater flow paths originating from the recharge area to the discharge area, including the groundwater manifestation area in the Situ Marta complex, Purbalingga Regency
THE OCCUR OF EDUCATION LEVEL, MARITAL STATUS, AND YEARS OF WORK-ON-WORK STRESS AMONG NURSES IN PRIMARY HEALTH CENTERS IN PURBALINGGA, INDONESIA
According to the World Health Organization (2022), work stress can adversely affect health and exacerbate mental health issues, including clinical mental disorders and emotional states such as stress, grief, sadness, and anxiety. WHO (2024) estimates that the global cost of managing depression and anxiety is approximately US$1 trillion. Factors influencing work stress include education level, marital status, and years of service. Work stress negatively impacts job performance quality and increases the risk of workplace accidents. To identify the most dominant factors influencing work stress among nurses in primary health centers in Purbalingga. This study employed a quantitative research design with a survey method and an analytical cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 280 nurses working in inpatient and outpatient primary health centers in Purbalingga Regency. A purposive sampling technique was used to select 169 respondents. Data were collected using a work stress questionnaire distributed online via Google Forms. Data analysis included univariate, bivariate, and multivariate methods using chi-square tests and multiple logistic regression. As many as 169 nurses participated as respondents, comprising 92 inpatient nurses (54.4%) and 77 outpatient nurses (45.6%). The most influential variable was years of service, with an Odds Ratio of 1.328. This situation indicates that nurses with more than two years of service are 1.328 times more likely to experience work stress than those with two years or less. Nurses with longer years of service (more than two years) are advised to adopt consistent stress management practices compared to those with two years or less of service
