No full textSistem pemesanan makanan rata-rata diketahui banyak menggunakan metode manual dimana banyak kendala-kendalanya antara lain adanya pemesanan yang rangkap (redudansi), tidak urutnya pembuatan pemesanan akibat menumpuknya nota pemesanan terutama pada saat ramai pengunjung, pena atau kertas yang habis, dimana masalah tersebut berakibat waktu yang tergolong kurang efisien dalam pemesanan makanan dan pengelolaan pesanan. Sistem pemesanan manual memiliki pengolahan data yang banyak kendalanya, sistem pemesanan konvensional menyebabkan kurang efisiennya waktu dalam pemesanan dan pengelolaan pesanan serta penerapan social distancing dalam pemesanan makanan untuk pencegahan penyeberan covid-19.Berdasarkan latar belakang masalah diatas tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah membangun sebuah Sistem Informasi Pemesanan Makanan Berbasis Client Server Komputer dan Smartphone yang bertujuan mengatasi kendala dalam pengolahan data, mempercepat dalam pemesanan dan pengelolaan pesanan serta mengikuti protokol untuk mencegah covid-19.Penelitian ini mengunakan beberapa metode, diantaranya adalah metode kepustakaan, metode observasi, analisis, metode perancangan, uji coba , serta metode implementasi.Hasil yang diharapkan dari penelitian ini adalah terbentuknya sistem informasi yang bermanfaat bagi pengguna maupun staff dan pemilik khususnya Foodpedia Coffee Roaster
The Functions of English Terms in Korean Popular Music (K-Pop): A Register Analysis
No full textThis study is a part of register research aimed at investigating the functions of English terms in Korean Popular Music (K-Pop). There are many English terms used in K-Pop, and those terms are assumed to have some purposes. The researcher completed this study through several phases called data gathering, data analysis, and data presentation. The present study reveals that there are at least eleven functions of English terms in K-Pop. The terms are utilized for promoting the singers’ music projects, showing self as something different from the others, communicating briefly, praising the singers’ physical appearances, appreciating the singers’ achievements, giving comment on the singers’ attitudes, commenting on the singers’ fashions, joking, giving appreciation to the music agencies, appreciating the fans, and showing hatred toward the singers

Get PDFThis study aims to analyze the effect of learning motivation, gender, professional training and work environment on the interests of students in career accounting study programs to become public accountants. The number of samples used in this study were 50 respondents of accounting students in the morning class of 2015, 2016, and 2017 with the method of determining the sample is the convinience sampling method. Data collection was carried out using the online google form questionnaire method and processed using SPSS Statistics 23. The results of this study indicate that learning motivation has no significant positive effect on student career interests in becoming a public accountant. Gender and professional training have no significant negative effect on the interests of career students to become public accountants and work environment variables have a positive and significant effect on the interests of career students to become public accountants. The four independent variables have no significant effect on the interests of career students to become public accountants simultaneously
PERAN PENTING KOMUNIKASI WORD OF MOUTH TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN PEMBELIAN DI RUMAH MAKAN BAKSO KADIPOLO SURAKARTA
Get PDFThe research aims to find out and explain the influence both simultaneously and partially of personal factors, interpersonal factors, situational factors and message characteristics of WOM on purchasing decisions in Bakso Kadipolo Surakarta. This research uses descriptive quantitative research design. The population is buyers at Bakso Kadipolo from February 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019 which number around ± 8548 people. The number of samples is 100 respondents. The sampling technique uses a purposive sampling method. The questionnaire is used for data retrieval. The data analysis technique used is statistical analysis. The results showed that the F test of personal factors, interpersonal factors, situational factors and message characteristics of WOM simultaneously and significantly affected the purchasing decisions at the Bakso Kadipolo Surakarta. The results of the t test show that the personal factors of WOM have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Bakso Kadipolo Surakarta. Interpersonal factors of WOM have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Bakso Kadipolo Surakarta. Situational factors from WOM have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Bakso Kadipolo Surakarta. Message characteristic from WOM has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions at Bakso Kadipolo Surakarta. The results of the coefficient of determination show personal factors, interpersonal factors, situational factors and message characteristics of WOM have an influence of 49.1% on purchasing decisions at Bakso Kadipolo Surakarta. The most dominant influence on purchasing decisions at Bakso Kadipolo Surakarta is a personal factor because it has the largest t-count value of 7.494. Suggestions from this study are that the Bakso Kadipolo should be able to increase purchases by paying attention to customer conditions through the addition of online order services
Students’ Perception Toward English Tutorial Program Activities and Facilities and Its Influence on Their English Competence
Get PDFMuhammadiyah University of Surakarta has established its graduate’s quality target as much as ≥ 450 for their English competence measured by standardized TOEIC test. To meet the target, LPIDB as the language center of UMS has provided the students with a kind of speaking activity called English Tutorial Program (ETP). The tutors are active students of at least semester 3 who have got several trainings on conducting the material. This study was aimed at measuring the influence of the students’ perception toward ETP activities and fasilities toward their English ability. The data were collected by giving questionnaires to 200 respondents chosen by using simple random sampling. The data then were analyzed by using multiple linear regression. The result of the study shows that the students’ perception of ETP facilities and activities gave significant influence on their English ability. Sehingga pembentukan peraturan perundang-undangan harus dilandasi oleh falsafah dan jatidiri bangsa yaitu Pancasila. Dengan pemikiran demikian maka dalam pembentukan peraturan perundang-undangan harus mendasarkan pada Sistem Hukum Pancasila dan berorientasi pada keadilan bermartabat yaitu keadilan yang memanusiakan manusia atau “nguwongke uwong”, keadilan seperti inilah yang menjadi tujuan dari sistem Hukum Pancasila. Category Shifts and Impact Of Translation in “The Secret of Unicorn” Movie Texts
Get PDFABSTRACTThis study aims for (1) analyzing the kinds of category shifts found in the movie of The Adventure of Tintin “The Secret of Unicorn” into Indonesian Subtitle, (2) explaining the dominant category, and (3) describing the influences of those category shifts on transferring the messages of the source language. The data in this research were all of the sentences spoken by the actors in The Adventure of Tintin “The Secret of Unicorn“ movie, whose translations (subtitles) contain any type of category shifts This research was a descriptive qualitative research. The process of collecting data is by taking all data that are suitable to the criteria and supported the research. There are four types of category shifts occured in the subtitling text of the The Adventure of Tintin “The Secret of Unicorn” movie. They are structure shift, class shift, unit shift and intra-system shift. The structure shift has the highest frequency, that is 289 cases or about 50.7 %. The occurrence of category shift in this movie can make the translation’s result more natural, accurate, and communicative. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menganalisis jenis pergeseran kategori yang di temukan di film The Adventure of Tintin “The Secret of Unicorn”, (2) menjelaskan dominan pergeseran kategori, dan (3) mendiskripsikan pengaruh pergeseran kategori terhadap bahasa sasaran. Data dalam penelitian ini adalah semua kalimat yang diucapkan oleh para aktor dalam film The Adventure of Tintin “The Secret of Unicorn, yang terjemahannya mengandung semua jenis pergeseran kategori. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptive kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data adalah dengan mengambil semua data yang sesuai dengan kriteria dan mendukung penelitian. Ada empat jenis pergeseran kategori yang terjadi dalam teks subtitle The Adventure of Tintin “The Secret of Unicorn” yaitu pergeseran struktur, pergeseran kelas, pergeseran unit, dan pergeseran sistem intra. Pergeseran stuktur memperoleh frequensi tertinggi yaitu 289 kasus atau sekitar 50.7%. Terjadinya pergeseran kategori dalam film ini dapat membuat hasil terjemahan lebih alami, akurat dan komunikatif

Pusat Informasi Wisata dibutuhkan untuk penyaluran informasi wisata dan menjadikan kota yang aktraktif yang dapat mefasilitasi masyarakat serta wisatawan. Pertumbuhan wisatawan dan obyek wisata di Kabupaten Cilacap dalam 3 (tiga) tahun terakhir membawa dampak signifikan bagi pertumbuhan pendapatan daerah.Sementara saat ini belum terdapat fasilitas sarana pusat informasi wisata di Kabupaten Cilacap.Perancangan Pusat Informasi Wisata di Kabupaten Cilacap dengan penerapan nilai-nilai Regionalisme Arsitektur bertujuan untuk menyatukan konsep masa depan dan konsep tradisional, dapat menjadikan peluang pengembangan citra atau ciri khas baru. Regionalisme aristektur menekankan pada perancangan yang merepon iklim, pola budaya atau perilaku dan ikenografis atau simbol. Tampilan bangunan menampilkan kekhasan mengeluarkan identitas formal dan simbolik ke dalam bentuk kreatif dalam menentukan bentuk, pola tata massa tampilan bangunan dan material bangunan
