The purpose of this policy is to ensure the protection of Campbell University information resources from unauthorized intrusions, malicious misuse, or inadvertent compromise. This policy establishes the requirements, roles, and responsibilities for ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of University information resources accessed, managed, and/or controlled by the University.
By implementing this policy, the University will: Establish the Campbell University Information Security Program. Establish processes for ensuring the security and confidentiality of information resources. Establish administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access or use of information resources. Assign responsibility for the security of departmental, administrative, and other critical university information resources. Provide the University community with direction and support for information security in accordance with business requirements and relevant laws and regulations
