Moose und Flechten in Gärten ::Resultate eines Projekts der Bryolich
No full textIm Rahmen des Bryolich-Projektes ‘Flechten und Moose in Gärten’ wurden in 28 Gärten die Moos- und/oder Flechtenarten erfasst sowie Informationen über die Umweltfaktoren gesammelt, um datenbasierte Empfehlungen für moos- und flechtenfreundliche Gärten machen zu können. Insgesamt wurden 138 Moosarten und 164 Flechtenarten erfasst, darunter auch gefährdete und potenziell gefährdete Arten. Am wichtigsten für einen hohen Artenreichtum in einem Garten ist eine grosse Anzahl verschiedener Lebensräume.As part of the Bryolich project ‘Lichens and Bryophytes in Gardens’, bryophyte and/or lichen species were recorded in 28 gardens and information on environmental factors was collected in order to make data-based recommendations for bryophyte- and lichen-friendly gardens. A total of 138 bryophyte and 164 lichen species were recorded, including vulnerable and near threatened species. Most important for a high species richness in a garden is to have a high number of different habitats
Prison social work and the risk security system ::insights from swiss correctional facilities
No full textSocial work’s role in managing the risk of recidivism is increasing in the Swiss penal system. With data from a qualitative study in two Swiss correctional facilities collected during 2019-2020, this article shows that prison social work has a triple role encompassing voluntary social assistance, tasks in relation to the execution of a sentence, and – in the focus of this article – relatively new tasks in line with the risk-minimizing reasoning in prisoner rehabilitative work. The risk-oriented approach, however, is conceptualized under the definitional power of forensic psychology, which assigns social work a subordinate, executing role. While issues of motivating involuntary clients to offence-centred work are intensely discussed in social workers’ reasoning regarding the risk-oriented work, critically questioning social work’s role in the tension between care and control is less evident in the data. We argue that to strengthen the profession’s positioning in the risk-minimizing set of tasks of carceral institutions, a broader interdisciplinary discourse within it is necessary which requires a clear and convincing statement of social work on its possible theoretical and methodical contribution in individual case work as well as on the level of the system as a whole

Studie über die Wohnsituation von Personen mit niedrigem Einkommen im Wallis
No full textDie vorliegende Untersuchung gliedert sich in drei Teile. Erstens konzentriert sich die Studie darauf, die Situation der Verfügbarkeit von Mietwohnungen im Kanton und deren Kosten zu analysieren. Zweitens gibt sie einen Überblick über die Situation der in den Walliser Gemeinden umgesetzten Wohnungspolitiken (und den von diesen Gemeinden möglicherweise geäusserten Bedarf). Drittens dokumentiert sie analytisch bestimmte Politiken, die in anderen Schweizer Kantonen durchgeführt werden konnten und erörtert ihr Potenzial zur Anpassung an die Walliser Gegebenheiten. Um diese drei unterschiedlichen Ziele zu erreichen, wurden drei sich ergänzende methodische Ansätze verwendet. Der Bericht ist in drei Teile gegliedert, die den jeweiligen Schwerpunkte entsprechen

No full textCet article s’appuie sur un corpus de littérature explorant la stigmatisation des jeunes adultes dans leur processus d’insertion socio-professionnelle. Il souligne que ce public vit souvent ces programmes comme une source de souffrance, liée à la perception d’être jugé·es ou marginalisé·es en raison de leur situation sociale. Or, ces dispositifs centrés sur l’emploi et la formation renforcent ces stigmates, en mettant notamment l’accent sur la réussite professionnelle comme condition d’intégration sociale. La stigmatisation génère un sentiment d’exclusion chez les bénéficiaires, compromettant leur engagement dans ces processus. Cette littérature justifie l’importance de développer des approches inclusives, à l’instar de la Recherche-Action Collaborative (RAC) qui est présentée en deuxième partie d’article, pour reconnaître l’expertise des bénéficiaires et atténuer les dynamiques stigmatisantes
