Depresión en adolescentes escolarizados asociada a algunos factores psicosociales en cinco poblaciones de Antioquia
No full textThe mental health of children and youth populations has been a priority in the research and extension agendas of public and private entities responsible for public health administration and care. In this context, an interdisciplinary group of professors from the National School of Public Health at the Universidad de Antioquia have taken an interest in developing impactful research aimed at diagnosing and mitigating risk factors associated with mental health problems in this population. Specifically, studies have been designed to identify factors associated with depression. Using a multiple linear regression model and following the recommendations of the Faculty's ethics committee, six random samples were selected from different localities in the department of Antioquia. The results indicate that depression is associated with the risk of suicide, family functioning, student gender, and certain subconstructs of family vulnerability. In conclusion, depression is a multi-causal mental health problem that affects the adolescent population in school.La salud mental de las poblaciones infantiles y juveniles ha estado en las prioridades de las agendas de investigación y extensión por parte de las entidades públicas y privadas encargadas de la administración y atención de la salud pública; por tanto, un grupo interdisciplinario de docentes adscritos a la Universidad de Antioquia - Facultad Nacional de Salud Pública, se ha interesado en desarrollar investigaciones de impacto, en la población mencionada, enfocadas en diagnosticar y mitigar los factores de riesgo asociados a estos problemas. En tal sentido, se han diseñado estudios de investigación para identificar los factores asociados a la depresión. En cuanto al método, se seleccionaron seis muestras aleatorias en diferentes localidades del departamento de Antioquia, tomando las recomendaciones del comité de ética de la facultad, y se ejecutó un modelo de regresión lineal múltiple. La depresión aparece asociada al riesgo de suicidio, al funcionamiento familiar, al sexo del estudiante y algunos subconstructos de la vulnerabilidad familiar. En conclusión, la depresión es un problema de salud mental multicausal que afecta a la población adolescente escolarizada

No full textIn the digital era, politics and politicians have adopted Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) such as the Internet, websites, and social media. The present research aims to analyze the use of the social media platform Twitter by former Mexican presidents to establish direct communication and, in doing so, break an unwritten rule of the political system that traditionally demands that former presidents stay out of public life. It is a mixed research through the analysis and compilation of the Twitter accounts of former presidents. The results indicate that the rule has been broken as through Twitter, former presidents confront and try to influence political life continuously, directly, and without intermediaries.En la era digital, la política y los políticos han adoptado Tecnologías de la Información y Comunicación (tic) como el Internet, sitios web y redes sociales. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo analizar el uso de la red social Twitter[1], para establecer comunicación directa, por parte de expresidentes mexicanos, quienes, al hacerlo, rompen una norma no escrita del sistema político que, tradicionalmente, exige de los expresidentes mantenerse al margen de la vida pública. Es una investigación mixta que se desarrolla mediante el análisis y recopilación de las cuentas de Twitter de los expresidentes mexicanos. Los resultados indican que se ha roto la regla, pues, a través de Twitter, los expresidentes confrontan y tratan de influir en la vida política de forma continua, directa y sin intermediarios.
Perspectivas y prácticas en Trabajo Social: un análisis de migración y multiculturalidad mediante el uso de la IA
No full textThe study examines the perspectives, practices and methodological approaches used on migration and multiculturalism from the discipline of Social Work. A documentary analysis was carried out using the Scopus database, using the Prisma technique and the Rayyan artificial intelligence tool for data analysis. 50 relevant articles were identified. The analyzed articles highlight the importance of concepts such as agency capacity, recognition theory, migration policies, acculturation, motivating factors of migration, the human rights approach, feminist theory and mental health as relevant in the professional intervention of Social Work. The intervention of this profession in the migration context focuses on assistance. Which points out important challenges in the intervention of this problem from social work. A prevalence of studies with a qualitative approach and a comprehensive-interpretive paradigm is observed, which suggests the need to continue studying this phenomenon from mixed and quantitative perspectives that provide tools for social work in specific intervention with the migrant population.El estudio examina las perspectivas, prácticas y abordajes metodológicos de la migración y multiculturalidad desde la disciplina del Trabajo Social. Se realizó un análisis documental utilizando la base de datos Scopus, empleando la técnica Prisma y la herramienta de inteligencia artificial Rayyan para el análisis de datos. Se identificaron 50 artículos relevantes. Los artículos analizados resaltan la importancia de conceptos como la capacidad de agencia, la teoría del reconocimiento, las políticas migratorias, la aculturación, los factores motivadores de la migración, el enfoque de derechos humanos, la teoría feminista y la salud mental como relevantes en la intervención profesional del Trabajo Social. La intervención de esta profesión en el contexto migratorio se centra en la asistencia. Lo que señala retos importantes en la intervención de esta problemática desde el trabajo social. Se observa una prevalencia de estudios con enfoque cualitativo y paradigma comprensivo- interpretativo, lo que sugiere la necesidad de continuar estudiando este fenómeno desde miradas mixtas y cuantitativas que brinden herramientas al trabajo social en la intervención específica con la población migrante

No full textIn this article we find a general mapping of diverse conceptions and fundamental notions to think the wide spectrum of history, historicity, historical time among other essential elements for our contemporaneity. Current politics, eclipsed by struggles and conceptual battles and their abstraction, requires attentive analysis of the historical movements of the present. Taking memory and history through a political lens, then, forces us to dispute the construction of the social order installed at a given social time. The objective of this paper is, first, to discuss how it is possible to conceive of memory and the emergence of novelty, particularly by delving into the ideas of Horkheimer and Arendt –since in her work as well, through the notion of “natality”, memory becomes less an act of preservation and more an exercise of judgment, distinction, and action, which allows us to connect with the theme of political struggles over memory. This will enable us to situate the state of memory in terms of Europe. Subsequently, we aim to contrast this perspective and ground it in Latin America, where many countries have been victims of systematic human rights violations. A política atual, ofuscada por lutas e batalhas conceituais e sua abstração, exige uma análise atenta dos movimentos históricos do presente. Assim, considerar a memória e a história por meio de uma lente política nos obriga a contestar a construção da ordem social instalada em um determinado momento social. O objetivo deste artigo é, em primeiro lugar, discutir como é possível conceber a memória e o surgimento da novidade, particularmente ao mergulhar nas ideias de Horkheimer e Arendt - já que também em seus trabalhos, por meio da noção de “naturalidade”, a memória se torna menos um ato de preservação e mais um exercício de julgamento, distinção e ação, o que nos permite conectar com a questão das lutas políticas pela memória. Isso nos permitirá situar o estado da memória em termos da Europa. Posteriormente, propomos contrastar essa perspectiva e fundamentá-la na América Latina, onde muitos países foram vítimas de violações sistemáticas dos direitos humanos. La psicología y lo psicosocial. Comprensiones en contexto: Understanding in Context
No full textThis paper contains the reflections made by the Psychology Program of the Universidad Católica Luis Amigó in support of some psychosocial positions that served as a basis for the preparation and execution of the 8th International Congress of Psychology of the FIUC: Psychology and the Psychosocial: Understandings in Context. The first part develops a reflection on the name of the Congress, starting from the concepts of context and psychosocial. The second part presents the argumentation of some general lines from which the establishment of conversations between universities, professors and participants was initially proposed. Finally, the problems are developed from which the need for a psychosocial attitude is questioned and supported, which pushes the traditional knowledge of psychology to its limits, recognizing the needs that arise from the training carried out in universities, because the response of professionals to the problems and conditions of the contexts is urgent.Este texto contiene las reflexiones realizadas desde el programa de psicología de la Universidad Católica Luis Amigó con el fin de fundamentar algunas posturas psicosociales que sirvieran de base a la preparación y alistamiento del 8°Congreso Internacional de Psicología de la FIUC: Psicología y lo psicosocial: comprensiones en contexto. En la primera parte se desarrolla una reflexión sobre el nombre del congreso, partiendo de los conceptos de contexto y psicosocial. La segunda parte presenta la argumentación de las algunas líneas generales desde las cuales se propuso inicialmente el establecimiento de conversaciones entre las universidades, los catedráticos y los asistentes. Al final se desarrollan las problemáticas desde las cuales se cuestiona y fundamenta la necesidad de una postura psicosocial que empuje el conocimiento tradicional de la psicología hacia las fronteras, reconociendo las necesidades que se plantean desde la formación realizada en las universidades, al ser urgida la respuesta de los y las profesionales a las problemáticas y condiciones de los contextos.  
Los conceptos de biopolítica y necropolítica en los postulados filosóficos de Foucault y Mbembe como referentes en la construcción de la interculturalidad
No full textThe text aims to analyze the categories of biopolitics and necropolitics in the philosophical postulates of Foucault (2006) and Mbembe (2011) through the so-called qualitative paradigm”; two philosophers of contemporary times, but belonging to different geospatial places: the first born in Europe and the second in Africa; Although, in part, Mbembe builds his theoretical cartography by feeding on Foucauldian philosophical approaches. On these bases, it is proposed to identify the benefits and limitations that could exist in terms of the articulation of an intercultural project to confront biopolitics (management of life) and necropolitics (government of death), which, surely, do not It is a peaceful but disputed field. The methodology used is based on the investigation of primary and secondary sources regarding the Foucauldian biopolitical and Mbembenian necropolitical concepts. The research method used was hermeneutic due to the historical-philosophical interpretation of biopolitical and necropolitical texts. The relevant conclusions suggest: (a) biopolitics manages, cares for and multiplies people’s lives; (b) necropolitics manages human death, destroys cultures, epistemes and entire peoples, considering them superfluous; (c) it is thought that the exercise of biopolitics and necropolitics is never unbreakable, it always has lines of flight for the benefit of the affected populations; (d) interculturality not only proposes a respectful and symmetrical dialogue between cultures, human beings and epistemes, but with nature itself, considering it as its mother.El texto se propone analizar las categorías biopolítica y necropolítica en los postulados filosóficos de Michel Foucault (2006) y Achille Mbembe (2011) mediante el “paradigma cualitativo”. Ambos filósofos pertenecieron a la época contemporánea, pero a lugares geoespaciales diferentes; el primero, nació en Europa; el segundo, en África, aunque, en parte, Mbembe construye su cartografía teórica alimentándose de los planteamientos filosóficos foucaultianos. Sobre estas bases, se plantea identificar las bondades y limitaciones que pudieran existir en cuanto a la articulación de un proyecto intercultural para ponerse frente a la biopolítica (gestión de la vida) y necropolítica (gobierno de la muerte), que, de seguro, no es un campo pacífico sino disputado. La metodología esgrimida parte de la investigación de las fuentes primarias y secundarias respecto al concepto biopolítico foucaultiano y necropolítico mbembeniano. El método de investigación utilizado fue el hermenéutico, debido a la interpretación histórico-filosófica de los textos biopolíticos y necropolíticos. Las conclusiones relevantes sugieren: (a) la biopolítica administra, cuida y multiplica la vida de las personas; (b) la necropolítica gestiona la muerte humana, destruye culturas, epistemes y pueblos enteros, considerándolos superfluos; (c) se piensa que el ejercicio de la biopolítica y de la necropolítica nunca es inquebrantable, siempre tiene líneas de fuga para el beneficio de las poblaciones afectadas; (d) la interculturalidad no solo propone un diálogo respetuoso y simétrico entre las culturas, seres humanos y epistemes, sino con la misma naturaleza, considerando a esta como su madre

No full textIn the current educacital context, comprehensive care for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) at the preschool level represents a significant challenge for educators. This study focuses on the design of strategies specifically oriented to address the educational needs of children with ASD in the preschool environment. After carrying out a dialogic process between various authors, identifying categories and systematizing observations that were made in the field, some guiding strategies were developed that allowed optimizing the teaching and learning processes based on significant experiences from the application of diversified techniques, which analyze their effects. . in inclusive processes in the classroom, based on comprehensive care during the year 2023 at the Envigado Educational Institution, using a practical approach, understood as a reflective praxis that involves the knowledge of being and doing of the subject. These strategies aim to provide comprehensive monitoring, taking as a starting point the dimensions of child development, based on the needs that converge in their closest environment.En el contexto educativo actual, la atención integral de estudiantes con Trastorno del Espectro Autista (TEA) en el nivel preescolar representa un desafío significativo para educadores. Este estudio se enfoca en el diseño de estrategias orientadoras específicamente para atender las necesidades educativas de niños con TEA en el entorno preescolar. Tras realizar un proceso dialógico entre diversos autores, identificar categorías y sistematizar observaciones que se realizaron en campo, se desarrollaron algunas estrategias orientadoras que permitieron optimizar los procesos de enseñanza y aprendizaje a partir de experiencias significativas desde la aplicación de técnicas desde el enfoque cualitativo, que analizan sus efectos en los procesos inclusivos en el aula, en función de la atención integral durante el año 2023 en la Institución Educativa de Envigado, utilizando un enfoque práctico, entendido como una praxis reflexiva que involucra el saber ser y hacer del sujeto. Estas estrategias pretenden brindar un seguimiento integral al desarrollo infantil, tomando como punto de partida las dimensiones que lo componen y las necesidades que convergen en su entorno más cercano.
