Reestructuración bancaria y crecimiento económico en las regiones españolas. ¿Son las sucursales todavía importantes?
Get PDFThe restructuring process of the Spanish banking sector initiated after the Great Recession of 2008 has led to a dramatic reduction in the number of bank branches. This paper analyzes the impact of branch closures on GDP per capita, labor productivity and employment per capita of the Spanish provinces in the period 2008–2018. The results show that bank branches have only a weak impact on employment, and no effect on productivity and GDP per capita. Therefore, if consumption and investment decisions of families and firms are affected by branch closures, the impact is not transferred to aggregate regional performance.El proceso de reestructuración del sector bancario español iniciado tras la Gran Recesión de 2008 ha supuesto una drástica reducción del número de sucursales bancarias. Este artículo analiza el impacto del cierre de sucursales sobre el PIB per cápita, la productividad laboral y el empleo per cápita de las provincias españolas en el período 2008-2018. Los resultados muestran que las sucursales bancarias tienen sólo un impacto débil sobre el empleo y ningún efecto sobre la productividad y el PIB per cápita. Por lo tanto, si las decisiones de consumo e inversión de familias y empresas se ven afectadas por el cierre de sucursales, el impacto no se transfiere al desempeño regional agregado
Gratitud para mejorar el bienestar emocional en pacientes hospitalizados. Una propuesta de intervención
Get PDF51 p.La hospitalización es una experiencia a la que, en algún momento de nuestra vida, todos podemos enfrentarnos. En estos contextos, emociones como el miedo, la incertidumbre, el estrés, la tristeza y el aislamiento son frecuentes y pueden influir negativamente en la recuperación y el bienestar del paciente. En este trabajo, se propone una intervención basada en estudios previos con resultados positivos, incluyendo técnicas eficaces, creativas e innovadoras. Su objetivo principal es mejorar el bienestar de personas que se encuentran ingresadas en un hospital mediante un enfoque completo y flexible para diferentes tipos de pacientes. La intervención propuesta cuenta con 8 sesiones, con una frecuencia de 2 por semana, y una duración total de 1 mes. Entre las técnicas propuestas destacan los diarios de gratitud, las cartas de gratitud y la línea de vida de gratitud, entre otras. Para validar la intervención, se realiza un estudio formado por 20 personas, divididas en grupo control y grupo experimental, ambos con 10 personas. De esta manera con una evaluación pre-post en ambos grupos, se analizarán los resultados obtenidos con el fin de valorar su impacto y realizar los ajustes necesarios para optimizar su aplicación en la práctica clínica. Con este programa se espera conseguir una mejora en el estado de ánimo y el bienestar, favoreciendo la recuperación de pacientes hospitalizados.Hospitalization is an experience that, at some point in our lives, we may all face. In these contexts, emotions such as fear, uncertainty, stress, sadness and isolation are frequent and can negatively influence the patient's recovery and well-being. In this paper, we propose an intervention based on previous studies with positive results, including effective, creative and innovative techniques. Its main objective is to improve the well-being of people who are admitted to a hospital through a comprehensive and flexible approach for different types of patients. The proposed intervention has 8 sessions, with a frequency of 2 per week, and a total duration of 1 month. The proposed techniques include gratitude journals, gratitude letters and the gratitude lifeline, among others. To validate the intervention, a study was carried out with 20 people, divided into a control group and an experimental group, both with 10 people. In this way, with a pre-post evaluation in both groups, the results obtained will be analyzed to assess its impact and make the necessary adjustments to optimize its application in clinical practice. El proyecto recoge un programa de usos dual: la residencia-taller y la galería de arte. Un conjunto dedicado a la obra artística, de carácter multifuncional y con posibilidad de adaptación en el que se establecen diálogos entre las diferentes piezas que lo componen y se configuran nuevos espacios urbanos.
Una intervención que preserva la esencia del lugar, atiende a la morfología existente y se vincula a elementos arquitectónicos relevantes como la Iglesia de Santa María del Castillo, la muralla y la edificación residencial tradicional.

No full textDans le spectacle “Weathering” (2023) de Faye Driscoll, les corps de dix danseurs-performeurs s’amalgament sur une plateforme qui évoque un iceberg à la dérive. Ilssemblent fondre dans une extrême lenteur alors que la plateforme tourne sur elle-même de plus en plus rapidement. Sueur, terre, glycérine, agrumes et objets divers s’immiscent imperceptiblement dans cette chair éprouvée. Les systèmes fermés par lesquels la pensée occidentale a pu extirper le sujet du chaos du monde pour lui donner une position de premier plan dans l’Anthropocène sont progressivement ouverts. L’écologie comprise comme fondamentalement transitive et interdépendante est donnée à sentir par unébranlement de l’ordre normalisé du spectre de la perception. Le sublime dans “Weathering” emprunte à la tradition philosophique—du Pseudo-Longin à Edmund Burke—son caractère totalisant et saisissant ainsi que sa mise en proximité des contraires, mais fait la part belle aux sens dits “inférieurs” et aux champs du dermique et de l’intime. Driscoll vise à “sensibiliser” (to sensitize) et mettre en mouvement pour contrer l’anesthésie engendrée par la saturation et l’accélération propres aux sociétés néo-libérales. Ce sublime à tendance matérialiste se concentre sur l’intériorité et le devenir du mouvement, de l’expression et du sens plus que sur leur actualisation et donne ainsi à éprouver l’étonnante processualité de l’écologie. “Weathering” convoque un “sublime de l’ordinaire” en ce qu’il ne fait qu’humblement inviter à une expérience de l’être, et, par extension, de l’être au monde.In the dance performance “Weathering” (2023) by Faye Driscoll, the bodies of ten dancerperformers mingle on a platform that recalls a drifting iceberg. They seem to melt away in an extreme slowness as the platform rotates faster and faster. Sweat, soil, glycerin, citrus fruits and various objects imperceptibly intertwine with this exhausted flesh. The closed systems by means of which Western thought was able to extricate the subject from the chaos of the world and give it a leading position in the Anthropocene are gradually being opened up. Ecology, understood as fundamentally transitive and interdependent, is made tangible by the disruption of the normalized order of perception. Weathering’s version of the sublime borrows from the philosophical tradition—from the PseudoLonginus to Edmund Burke—its totalizing and striking character, as well as its setting in proximity of opposites, but gives a prominent place to the so-called “lower” senses and to the dermal and the intimate. Driscoll’s aim is to “sensitize” the audience and set it in motion to counteract the anesthesia generated by the saturation and acceleration characteristic of neoliberal societies. This materialist sublime focuses on the interiority and becoming of movement, expression and meaning, rather than on their actualization, and thus enables the audience to experience the astonishing processual quality of ecology. Weathering conjures up a “sublime of the ordinary” in that it humbly invites the audience to experience being, and by extension, being in the world.En el espectáculo “Weathering” (2023) de Faye Driscoll los cuerpos de diez bailarines-performers se amontonan en una plataforma que recuerda un iceberg a la deriva. Parecen derretirse con extrema lentitud mientras la plataforma gira cada vez más rápido. Sudor, tierra, glicerina, cítricos y diversos objetos se entrelazan de forma casi imperceptible dentro de esta hastiada carne. Los sistemas cerrados de los que el pensamiento occidental pudo extraer el sujeto del caos del mundo para darle un papel protagonista en el Antropoceno se van abriendo progresivamente. Se considera la ecología esencialmente como transitoria e interdependiente, y esto se experimenta por la ruptura que se produce en los procesos normalizados que rigen el espectro de la percepción. Lo sublime en “Weathering” toma prestado el carácter totalitarista y sobrecogedor de la tradición filosófica—del Pseudo-Longino a Edmund Burke—, de ahí el aproximamiento de los contra-opuestos, pero también confiere espacio a los sentidos llamados “inferiores” y a los ámbitos de lo dérmico y lo íntimo. Driscoll tiene como objetivo “sensibilizar” (to sensitize) y poner en movimiento para detener la anestesia que provoca la saturación y aceleración propia de las sociedades neoliberales. Este sublime con sabor a materialismo se centra en la interioridad y el porvenir del movimiento, de la expresión y del sentido antes que en su actualización y así lleva a confrontar el sorprendente carácter de proceso de la ecología. “Weathering” convoca un “sublime de lo cotidiano” en el hecho de que solo trata, humildemente, de invitar a una experiencia del ser y por extensión del ser al mundo
The Coniacian sequence in the western Iberian Ranges (Spain): Stratigraphic architecture, systems tracts, biostratigraphy and high-frequency cyclicity
Get PDFThe Coniacian 3rd-order sequence comprises nine 4th-order parasequences (PsCo1?PsCo9). PsCo1 and PsCo2 are considered a Shelf Margin Wedge as in a Lowstand Systems Tract (LST). Parasequences PsCo3 to the lower part of PsCo6 show an aggradational and retrogradational geometry with onlap on the basal boundary, representing the Transgressive Systems Tract (TST). The upper part of PsCo6 to PsCo9 represents the Highstand Systems Tract (HST) with a Highstand Normal Regression (HNR), upper part of PsCo6 and PsCo7. PsCo8 and PsCo9 show a significative retrogradation of the outer ramp facies and a Forced Regressive Systems Tract (FRST) with progradation of siliciclastic facies from emerged massif on the carbonate facies. The rapid northwards progradation during HST originates a change from a homoclinal ramp to a distally-steepened one. The Coniacian?basal Santonian age is based on the presence of Forresteria (Harleites) petrocoriensis (base of PsCo1) and of Cladoceramus undulatoplicatus (top of PsCo9). Metatissotia ewaldi, Tissotioides hispanicus, Gauthiericeras margae and Prionocycloceras iberiense zones characterize the middle Coniacian. Finally, the late Coniacian is characterised by the Protexanites burgeoisi and Hemitissotia spp. zones. The parasequences are considered to have originated from long eccentricity cycles (0.405 Myr) of Milankovitch?s band. Correlation and the reconstruction of the depositional architecture allow quantifying the sedimentary processes and trends, systems tracts, and temporal amplitude of hiatuses. The sequence at the northern outcrops spans 3.65 Myr, and only 0.81 Myr at the southern ones, with most time contained in the hiatuses of the basal (2.43 Myr) and upper (0.405 Myr) sequence boundaries.Agencia Estatal de Investigació
Evaluación de la eficacia del protocolo unificado para el tratamiento transdiagnóstico de trastornos emocionales: un estudio de caso
Get PDF40 p.Los trastornos emocionales son una problemática de salud actual en nuestra sociedad. La ansiedad y la depresión son los más prevalentes y presentan síntomas compartidos. La finalidad de este trabajo es comprobar la eficacia del Protocolo Unificado para el Tratamiento Transdiagnóstico de Trastornos Emocionales de Barlow et al. (PU; 2015) en sintomatología ansioso-depresiva. Esta intervención es aplicada y adaptada a un caso único planteado en 10 sesiones semanales. En la evaluación se administra la MINI. Los instrumentos utilizados para medir el efecto pre-post test son: OASIS, ODSIS, PANAS, SWLS y NEO-FFI. Tras su aplicación, se observan cambios significativos y una reducción de síntomas de ansiedad y depresión notables. Sin embargo, es importante tener en cuenta sus limitaciones y comprender que sus resultados, aunque prometedores, no son generalizables a la población general.Emotional disorders are a current health problem in our society. Anxiety and depression are the most prevalent disorders and present shared symtoms. The porpuse of this work is to verify the effectiveness of the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders by Barlow et al. (UP; 2015) in anxious-depressive symtoms. The intervention is applied and adapted to a single case presented in 10 weekly sessions. In the evaluation, the MINI is administered. The instruments used to measure the pre-post test effect are: OASIS, ODSIS, PANAS, SWLS and NEO-FFI. After its application, significant changes and a notable reduction in anxiety and depression symptoms are observed. The problem of truth in "Perro muerto en tintorería: los fuertes" (2007) by Angélica Liddell
Get PDFEsta investigación parte de la hipótesis de que, en “Perro muerto en tintorería: los fuertes” (2007), Angélica Liddell plantea un problema sobre la producción de la verdad, para lo cual toma como referencia los trabajos de Michel Foucault. Para comprobarlo, se hace uso del concepto de “régimen de verdad” y, a partir de él, se revisan los mecanismos de veridicción que operan en la obra bajo la forma de lo “incompatible”. Así, se descubre que en esta pieza teatral la construcción de lo real funciona a través de actos de fe —encarnados ficcionalmente por Combeferre— y se indica el modo en que este mecanismo se articula con un régimen político-jurídico que recupera las ideas sobre la delincuencia, la sospecha y el panóptico presentes en “Vigilar y castigar” (1975). A continuación, se revisa la manera en que las pruebas materiales ponen en crisis este modelo y se señala la emergencia del cuerpo y de lo concreto como productores de verdad alternativos. Sin embargo, cuando el poder demuestra su versatilidad al crear un régimen de verdad basado en el cuerpo y, por consiguiente, apropiándose y neutralizando la amenaza, la locura se convierte en la única vía de escape. De esta manera, se muestra el modo en que el delirio les sirve a los personajes para encontrar un camino de libertad: el suicidio. Liddell, por tanto, termina deslindándose de las teorías foucaultianas para proponer el sacrificio de sí mismo como un contra-rito que hace del cuerpo un espacio de resistencia.This paper puts forth the hypothesis that in “Perro muerto en tintorería: los fuertes” (2007) Angélica Liddell problematizes the production of truth, taking the works of Michel Foucault as a reference. Thus, our entry into the text will be through the concept of the “regime of truth”, through which we will examine the ways in which the mechanisms of veridiction operate in “Perro muerto en tintorería: los fuertes” in the form of the “incompatible”. Thus, it can be argued that the regime of truth present in the play works through acts of faith —fictionally embodied by Combeferre—, and works in conjunction with a political and legal regime based on the ideas of crime suspicion and the panopticon present in “Discipline and punish” (1975). Next, it is shown how the material evidence puts this model into crisis, making the body and “lo concreto” alternative producers of truth. However, when power shows its versatility by creating a new regime of truth based on the body and therefore taking over and neutralizing the threat, madness becomes the last resort for the characters. In this way, delirium helps them find a path to freedom: suicide. In the end, Liddell takes distance from Foucauldian theories to propose —in consonance with her “law of poetry”— self-sacrifice as a counter-rite that makes the body a space of resistance
