Dispute between Buber and Ben-Gurion over "understanding the Bible" with focus on the debate of 1957
Get PDF本稿は、現代ユダヤ・ナショナリズムにおける聖書理解の一端を、マルティン・ブーバーとダヴィッド・ベングリオンの論争から明らかにすることを目的とする。まず20世紀のユダヤ・ナショナリズムにおけるブーバーとベングリオンの関わりについて概説する。その後に、イスラエル建国（1948年）前後に二人のあいだでどのような論争があったのかを踏まえた上で、聖書の理解が中心となった 1957 年の論争を考察する。イスラエル建国から9年が過ぎた 1957年8月12日、ベングリオンはエルサレム・イデオロギー会議を開催して、イスラエル国内の知識人を集め、自身の聖書に関する理解、メシアニズム理解に関する講演を実施した。会議から約 2カ月後の10月4日、「特質とシオンについて」という論考によって、ブーバーはベングリオン批判をダヴァル紙において公に展開した。この論考を読んだベングリオンはすぐにダヴァル紙編集部に書簡を送って、ブーバーへの反論を試み、同年10月9日、ダヴァル紙上で、「論争相手への回答」という論考を発表した。意見の食い違いはあるものの、イスラエル国における問題について聖書やユダヤ教のメシアニズムを中心に考えるという点において、この二人は共通している。二人がぶつかり合うのは、国家の位置づけである。つまり、ブーバーにとってイスラエル国における預言者的正義の実現である神権政治が重要であるのに対し、ベングリオンにとっては預言者の語る物質的側面、すなわち現実的国家の存在が重要となる。この二人を相互補完の関係として見る研究者もいる。ベングリオンはこの関係を受け入れることがあっても、当時のブーバーがベングリオンとの相互補完の関係という枠組みを受け入れることはないだろう。This paper aims to shed light on the understanding of the Bible in the context of modern Jewish nationalism, highlighting a dispute between Martin Buber and David Ben-Gurion. I first outline the relationship between the two men in the framework of 20th-century Jewish nationalism. Then, based on the disputes between them before and after the founding of the State of Israel (1948), I consider the dispute of 1957, which centered on the understanding of the Bible. On August 12, 1957, nine years after the founding of the State of Israel, Ben-Gurion held a meeting in Jerusalem with a group of Israeli intellectuals, in which he lectured on his understanding of the Bible and messianism. On October 4, about two months later, Buber publicly criticized Ben-Gurion in the newspaper Davar in an essay titled "On Character and Zion." After reading this essay, Ben-Gurion immediately sent a letter to the editorial department of Davar in an attempt to refute Buber, and on October 9 of the same year Davar published his essay titled "Answer to a Contender." Despite their differences of opinion, the two men shared a common view of the problems in the State of Israel that centered on the Bible and Jewish messianism. Where the two clashed was on the status of the state. That is, Buber advanced the importance of theocracy, which is the realization of prophetic justice in the State of Israel; on the other hand, Ben-Gurion stressed the importance of existence in the materialism of the prophets' discussions, specifically the existence of an actual state. Some scholars see the two viewpoints as mutually complementary. The role of [Ca2+]i fluctuation in cortical neural progenitor cells
Get PDF神経幹細胞(NPC)は神経細胞に分化することができ、脳の発達に重要である。しかし、NPCの分化についてのメカニズムはまだよくわかっていない。カルシウム (Ca2+) イメージングを用いて胎児脳に観察される細胞内Ca2+変動を調べた。NPCの細胞内Ca2+変動における間欠的細胞内Ca2+トランジェントの開始が神経細胞の分化と相関することを見出した。さらに、NPCの細胞内Ca2+変動はT型Ca2+チャネルによって仲介され、このCa2+チャネルの遮断は神経分化を阻害することを見出した。したがって、NPCの細胞内Ca2+変動は神経分化に必要である。Neural progenitor cell (NPC) can differentiate into neuron and is important for brain development. However, mechanisms controlling the differentiation of NPCs are not well understood. Using calcium (Ca2+) imaging, we examined intracellular Ca2+ fluctuation that is frequently observed during embryonic development. We found that the onset of the intermittent intracellular Ca2+ transients in NPC intracellular Ca2+ fluctuation is correlated to NPC differentiation toward neurons. Furthermore, the intracellular Ca2+ fluctuation in NPC was mediated by the T-type Ca2+ channel and blockage of this Ca2+ channel inhibited neuronal differentiation. Thus, intracellular Ca2+ fluctuations in NPC are required for neural differentiation.doctoral thesi

This paper attempts to interpret Durkheim's arguments on social facts as an expression of the objects of sociological research and the methods of grasping them, and to reconstruct his arguments as a framework for analyzing actual social phenomena. Māori put great importance on holding their cultural sovereignty or initiative over their taonga (socially or culturally valuable objects including tangible and intangible).
