Factor analysis of the extent and frequency of machine translation usage among English learners : insights from a survey of Doshisha University students
Get PDF機械翻訳はAIの応用の一部で、近年急速に翻訳精度を向上させ、使用が拡大している。同志社大学の学生の機械翻訳の使用範囲・頻度がどのような要因により規定されているのかを明らかにするために、アンケート調査及び統計分析を行った。またその結果を踏まえて、今後の英語教育における機械翻訳の使用法の提言や従来の英語教育研究の範疇外の分野に関して考証した。Machine translation, as one application of artificial intelligence, has rapidly improved in translation accuracy in recent years, leading to its widespread use. To clarify the factors that determine the extent and frequency of machine translation use among students at Doshisha University, we conducted a survey and statistical analysis. Get PDF近年急速に普及しつつある1on1ミーティングの実相にせまるべく，2つの調査を行った。調査1では，5人のインフォーマントに対して半構造化面接を実施した。調査2では，1000名の労働者を対象に定量的調査を実施した。調査の結果，1on1が急激に普及してきた背景および運用実態，そしてその効果が明らかになった。また，1on1が効果を有するためには，一定以上の頻度が必要であること，さらには，事前に部下のフォロワーシップ特性を把握しておくことが必要あることが明らかになった。Two surveys were conducted to get a closer look at the reality of 1-on-1 meetings, which have become increasingly popular in recent years. In Study 1, semi-structured interviews were conducted with five informants. In Study 2, a quantitative survey of 1,000 workers was conducted. The results of the survey revealed the background to the rapid spread of 1-on-1, its operational status, and its effectiveness. The effectiveness of problem-solving skills training in enhancing resilience among junior high school students
Get PDF近年，いじめや不登校の増加が教育現場における課題の一つとして挙げられている。これらの問題の背景には不安や無気力などのメンタルヘルスが関連しているとされている。そこで，本研究は，中学2年生4学級146名の生徒を対象に，中学生に対して問題解決スキルに焦点を当てたPSST(Problem Solving Skills Training)を実施し，ソーシャルスキル，メンタルヘルス(不安・抑うつ)の改善，レジリエンスへの効果を検討した。PSST の内容としては，問題解決の手順を学び，対人関係におけるトラブル解決を目指す内容で構成され，生徒が自主的に問題を解決する能力を向上させることを目標とした介入を行った。結果として，PSST はレジリエンスの向上に寄与することが確認された。しかし，本研究においてはソーシャルスキルとメンタルヘルスに関する効果は認められなかった。今後の研究では，フォローアップ測定の実施やターゲットスキルの選定を行い，より効果的な介入方法を模索する必要がある。研究論文departmental bulletin pape
