Basic study on performance difference of Cascade protocol due to methods of bit string shuffling in wireless physical layer secret key agreement
No full text本論文は、ビット列の再配列法によるCascadeプロトコルの性能差を取り扱っている。本論文では、秘密鍵共有への適用を対象として、パス2までの誤り率や誤り訂正効率などの性能をシミュレーションで評価し、理論値との比較検討を行った。その結果、パス2の基本処理後の誤り率が、確定的な混合では理論値と良く一致するが、ランダムな混合では理論値より劣化することが分かった。また、追跡誤り訂正が性能改善に有効であること、確定的な混合の方の特性が優れていることが分かった。This paper deals with the performance difference of the Cascade protocol due to methods of bit string shuffling. In this paper, the performance such as bit error rate and error correction efficiency up to pass 2 is evaluated by simulation for application to secret key agreement, and a comparison is made with theoretical values. As a result, it is found that the error rate after basic processing of pass 2 matches well with the theoretical value with deterministic shuffling, but is worse than the theoretical value with random shuffling. It is also found that backtracking error correction is effective in improving performance, and that deterministic shuffling has superior characteristics.原著論文笹岡秀一: 同志社大学名誉教授departmental bulletin pape
Microfungal diversity on needle litter in clearcut and mature forest stands
No full textカナダ全土の5つの州にまたがる温帯と亜寒帯の針葉樹林において、皆伐が針葉樹の落葉層に生息する微小菌類の多様性に与える影響を調べた。皆伐地と隣接する成熟林の林床に針葉樹の落葉を2年間設置し、57種の微小菌類を分離した。その結果、微小菌類の種多様性は、皆伐地では成熟林に比べて有意に低かったことが示され、種多様性の低下は、主に7つの主要な菌類種の減少に起因していた。微小菌類の種組成は、皆伐地と成熟林の間で有意に異なった。このような皆伐による微小菌類の多様性の変化は、森林床における針葉樹の落葉の分解過程に変化をもたらす可能性がある。The effect of clearcutting on the diversity of microfungi inhabiting needle litter was investigated in temperate and boreal coniferous forests in five provinces across Canada. Standardized needle litters were incubated on the forest floor of clearcut and adjacent mature stands for two years and 57 microfungal species were isolated. The results showed that species richness of microfungi was significantly lower in clearcut than in mature stands. The decreased species richness was primarily attributed to the decrease of seven major fungal species. The species composition was significantly different between clearcut and mature stands. Such shifts in microfungal diversity in response to clearcutting may lead to changes in needle litter decomposition on the forest floor.原著論文departmental bulletin pape

No full text2024年7月，アイルランド・リムリック大学で開催されたInternational Biochemistry of Exercise Conferenceに参加し，ポスター発表を行った。演題は「Simulated microgravity rescues the suppressive effect of exercise training on adipogenic differentiation of inguinal adipose-derived stem cells of rats」であり，運動が脂肪幹細胞の分化能に及ぼす影響を模擬微小重力環境を用いて解析した研究成果を報告した。In July 2024, I participated in the International Biochemistry of Exercise Conference at the University of Limerick, Ireland, and presented a poster titled "Simulated microgravity rescues the suppressive effect of exercise training on adipogenic differentiation of inguinal adipose-derived stem cells of rats."Exercise training suppresses the adipogenic potential of adipose-derived stem cells (ADSC), but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Using a simulated microgravity (SMG) system, we analyzed ADSC from exercised rats and found that the suppressive effect of exercise was attenuated under SMG conditions, suggesting the involvement of gravity-sensitive factors in the regulation of adipogenic differentiation.学会参加レポート(Report of participation)departmental bulletin pape

Cooperative object tracking using multiple roadside LiDARs based on multiplicative error model extended kalman filter
Get PDF本論文では，道路環境に設置した複数台のLiDARにより物体(車，二輪車，人物)を協調追跡する方法を提案する．各LiDARはエレベーションマップ上で背景差分法により観測値から物体を検出する．そして，物体により占有された格子の位置をサーバに送信する．サーバは物体に関する格子をクラスタリングし，物体の運動(位置と速度)と物体形状(機首方向と大きさ)を推定(追跡)する．物体の運動と形状を同時追跡するため，乗法誤差モデル拡張カルマンフィルタを利用する．マルチターゲット環境においても正しい追跡を実現するため，ルールに基づくデータ対応付けと追跡管理を導入する．道路環境における2台のLiDARによる物体追跡のシミュレーション結果より，提案手法の性能を示す．This paper presents a cooperative tracking of objects, such as cars, two-wheelers, and people, using networked light detection and rangings (LiDARs) set in a road environment. Each LiDAR detects objects from the LiDAR measurements using a background subtraction method on an elevation map and sends the positions of cells occupied by objects to a central server. The central server clusteres object cells and estimates (tracks) the motions (positions and velocities) and shapes (heading angles and sizes) of objects. The multiplicative error model extended Kalman filter is utilized to simultaneously track the motions and shapes of objects. A rule-based data association and track handling are introduced to perform correct tracking in a multi-target environment. Simulation results of object tracking using two LiDARs in a road environment show the performance of the presented method.原著論文departmental bulletin pape
