The treatment of psychological findings in Japanese junior high school moral education textbooks : a content analysis with future prospects
Get PDF日本の小・中学校で「道徳」が教科化されたことに伴い，検定教科書が導入された。多様な教材の使用が推奨されているものの，教科書は授業の中心的役割を担っており，その内容の検討は不可欠である。本研究では，教科書における心理学的知見の記載状況に焦点を当てた。道徳性，特に道徳的判断力や道徳的実践意欲・態度を育むためには，人間の判断・思考の特性に関するメタ認知的知識の形成が重要だと考えられる。そこで，中学校道徳科用教科書を対象に，各出版社の内容を分析した。その結果，心理学的知見の取り扱いは出版社間で大きな差異があり，全体として明示的な説明は限定的であることが明らかになった。これらの知見に基づき，今後の道徳教育の充実に向けて，教科書や指導方法のあり方について提案を行った。With the formalization of moral education as a subject in Japanese elementary and junior high schools, certified textbooks have been introduced. Although the use of various teaching materials is encouraged, textbooks play a central role in classroom instruction, making their content analysis crucial. This study focused on the inclusion of psychological insights in these textbooks. The formation of metacognitive knowledge about human judgment and thought processes is considered essential for cultivating morality, particularly moral judgment skills and the motivation for moral practice. Therefore, we analyzed the content of moral education textbooks for junior high schools from various publishers. The results revealed noticeable disparities in the treatment of psychological concepts among publishers, with explicit explanations generally limited across all textbooks. Based on these findings, we propose recommendations for enhancing moral education,including suggestions for improving textbook content and teaching methods.原著論文(Original Article)departmental bulletin pape

The development of international law on prolonged occupation : a study of the 2024 OPT advisory opinion
Get PDF2024年ICJ勧告的意見は、イスラエルのパレスチナ被占領地における継続的プレゼンスが違法であるとし、その終了義務を示したが、法的根拠の欠如が批判されている。本稿は、長期占領の違法性をめぐる２つの見解を紹介し、いずれに依拠しても本意見を十分に説明できないと論じる。そこで、権利濫用の法理に着目した本意見の理解を提案する。さらに、本意見が長期占領の違法性に関する国際法の発展を促す可能性を指摘する。The OPT Advisory Opinion delivered by the ICJ on 19 July 2024 stated that "the State of Israel's continued presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory is unlawful" and that "the State of Israel is under an obligation to bring to an end its unlawful presence in the Occupied Palestinian Territory." However, the absence of a legal basis for this conclusion has been subject to criticism. This paper introduces two views on the illegality of prolonged occupation and argues that neither sufficiently explains the Opinion. It then proposes an alternative understanding based on the doctrine of abuse of rights.
