情報システム学科では2000年度からカナダのアルバータ州立大学において夏期セミナーを実施している。英語によって自分の考えや主張を伝えるための技術を習得するとともに、企業訪問や英語によるITの講義を受けることにより、北米社会における最新の情報に関する理解を深めることも目的としている。この夏期セミナーにおけるコミュニケーション方法としてメール送受信・ウェブ利用・日記の更新を行ってきたが、困難であったものが海外のPCにおける日本語環境の構築であった。今年度、夏期セミナーに参加する機会があったため、日本語環境の構築法についてまとめた。また、日記更新のために新しいシステムを導入したので、これについても述べた。departmental bulletin pape
A Study of Tourist Centered Approach to Tourism Information Systems
The spread of the Internet enables an individual to exchange abundant information across between companies or other individuals, and space-time. Now, it is the time when an individual becomes the leading role and asks for individualization of various services. Japanese tour style changes from a party tour to an independent tour, and a tourist also asks for individualized service. In this paper, the virtual tour space model corresponding to each tourist is described, and the Webbase architecture is proposed as structure of a tourism information system, which supports the whole action cycle over each tourist seamlessly.departmental bulletin pape
