Deconstructing the “Utagoe” Movement : A Memetic Perspective
Get PDF1950 年代，全国各地で若者の合唱サークルが組織された．1940 年代末に起こったこの運動はうたごえ運動と呼ばれた．うたごえ運動は文化運動，労働運動，反核平和運動と連携し，1950年代半ばに最盛期を迎えた．しかし，早くも1960 年代前半には人気を失った．この運動はどのようにして同時代の若者の心をとらえたのか．またなぜ若者の心はうたごえ運動から離れていったのか．この論文は進化論の観点から文化を理解するミーム学の知見を用いてこの疑問に答える． ミームとは模倣であり，遺伝子に似た「文化の自己複製子」として理解される．うたごえ運動とは「正しく，美しく歌え」などの指示のミーム，「歌の力によって大衆を組織し，世を動かす」という物語のミーム，ミームとしての歌からなるミーム複合体である．うたごえ運動が拡大し，一転して衰えた過程はこれらのミームが複製された（されなくなった）過程として説明できる．departmental bulletin pape
The Diplomacy of Thailand with Burma(Myanmar) (1988-2006)
Get PDFIn September 1988, the Burmese junta cracked down on a people’s demonstration for democracy. Western countries and Japan stopped aid and imposed sanctions on Burma, while Thailand, other ASEAN countries, and China tried to foster good relations with the junta. Since the end of the 1980s, Thailand had altered its policy from a buffer policy to constructive engagement supporting the military regime of Burma. Thailand’s constructive engagement policy toward Burma has placed priority on good relations with the junta rather than human rights and democracy in Burma. After Chuan’s flexible engagement policy, Thaksin revived Chartchai’s constructive engagement policy toward Burma, which was more business-oriented than the Chartchai’s policy.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDF本研究は，パケットがバッファ内をフロースルーして行く挙動が1 次元拡散型の偏微分方程式でモデル化できることを提案する。次に，数理ファイナンスにおけるオプション評価理論であるブラックショールズ式を活用して，サーバの安定評価ができることを提案する。 本研究における提案の前提は，次のとおりである。最初は，情報ネットワークサーバに入力されるパケットの発生時間間隔が対数正規型確率密度関数にモデル化できることであり，かつサーバキューイングから独立してパケットを取り出す出力時間間隔を対数正規型確率密度関数にモデルかできる場合に限定する。この前提を確保するために，サーバ内のパケット入力用のキューに存在する累積パケット個数が，対数正規型確率密度関数になるというシミュレーション結果に基づいている。次に，サーバ内のキューイングバッファをフローするパケット挙動とファイナンスにおけるデリバティブズ挙動が，同一の拡散型偏微分方程式で来てしていることによる。departmental bulletin pape

Identity and Couples' Housework Sharing
Get PDFIn this article, I conduct a virtual experiment to examine what kinds of house work-sharing behaviors are exhibited by husbands in situations where the husband's proportion of work hours outside the home is relatively low. The results of a survey conducted in January 2008 showed that the loss of a husband's gender identity has an effect not only on the husband's housework-sharing behaviors, but also on those of his wife, and they support the idea that husbands are therefore quite likely to engage in gender display behaviors.journal articl
An Investigation of Question Types Used in an EFL Pre-Intermediate Classroom
Get PDFIn Japan, outside of junior high and high schools, the emphasis on communicative language teaching is still the dominant paradigm for language teachers. The idea behind the communicative method is that students focus on authentic, meaningful interactions rather than the traditional grammar focused methods taught in school. However, just because a language lesson is communicative rather than grammar focused, does not mean that the language produced by the students or the teacher is always real life communication. Much has been written about foreign language classroom discourse and the activities that promote discourse with regards to teacher/student talk and student/student talk. Many researchers have developed ways of investigating classroom discourse that can be used as analytical tools for language teachers to better understand the language used during teacher/student interaction. A study on the recovery rate of congestion in the network server
Get PDF本研究では,情報ネットワークにおけるサーバの輻輳および非輻輳状態を評価することを目的としている。分散の大きな入力データが,サーバに輻輳をもたらすことはよく知られている。サーバの輻輳状態および輻輳からの回復状態を評価するために,ファイナンス理論におけるオプション評価理論およびリスク中立化を応用することを提案する。リスクが,サーバの輻輳状態に対応すると考える。また,輻輳状態を評価するために,入力パケットの獲得確率を導入する。非輻輳状態から輻輳状態への転移の解析には,オプション評価における経路依存型オプション契約の解析手法を活用する。理由は,対数正規過程におけるサーバに関して,非輻輳から輻輳への転移に相当すると考えるからである。最後に,数値例を挙げて輻輳状態から非輻輳状態へ回復するときの平均と分散比を提示する。そのときの輻輳回復評価の数値例もあわせて報告する。departmental bulletin pape
War Memories, the Risks of Oral History and Moments of Hope : Unearthing the "Field of Spears"
Get PDFThis paper considers a number of problems which arose after the publication of my earlier work entitled Field of Spears. I will discuss how I sought clarity in the murky waters of war memories, and consider instances in which I encountered inconsistent evidence and difficult decisions about how much to report of the sometimes tragic or shameful actions of informants during the stressful conditions of war. The manner in which I dealt with these issues will also be discussed. I will also consider how the problems facing oral history researchers do not end with the fieldwork process, but may begin in earnest after the publication of their results. I close with an account of how positive experiences can help to heal the scars of earlier trauma.departmental bulletin pape
Cost and Benefit of Class Questionnaire Systems : Cases in Niigata University of International and Information Studies
Get PDF本学ではFD の一環として授業評価アンケートを実施しているが,手作業による集計では莫大な工数を要するため,情報システムによる支援が必須である。そこで本稿では,本学における授業評価アンケートシステムの導入事例を通して,費用対効果の検証を行った。その結果,現行と従前のシステムを比較した場合,原価態様の相違と利用度の低さによって現行のシステムのほうが費用の点で不利であった。しかしながら,回避不能原価や当該システムに特有の効果を考慮して検討を行った結果,現行のシステムの優れている点を見つけることができた。現在は大学評価基準の改正という外的要因により授業評価アンケートを実施しているが,今後は授業評価アンケートの結果をもとに改善行動を行い,それを次なる計画や実行に反映していけるような組織的取組が求められる。departmental bulletin pape
