Development of a Flight Simulator for College Education
Get PDFP(論文)A flight simulator for educational purposes has been developed to be utilized as a basic facility of theAerospace Engineering Course of Tokyo Metropolitan College of Industrial Technology (CIT). This paper dealswith research and development of this flight simulator. Modern flight simulators have been introduced not only asflight trainers but also as aircraft design tools. It is also useful to apply the flight simulator to college education bymaking use of its real time calculation of accurate responses of flight dynamics and its realistic human interfaces.In this context, the designed flight simulator was aimed at using for practices of learning dynamics, and for actualflight training of an aircraft such as the glider being manufactured by the students targeting the Birdman FlightContest. The system is comprised of a personal computer and a set and control devices. The newly developed softwareincludes functions of real-time control management, numerical integration of 6 degrees of perturbed differentialequations, virtual control panel, real-time data recording, and graphical instrument panel. Advantages ofthis simulator include easily modifiable programs, and a simple setup with minimum cost. Examples of applicationof the simulator as well as future courses of its improvement are also mentioned.departmental bulletin pape

Simulation study of analog input buffer characteristics for low-voltage operation in CMOS integrated circuits
Get PDFP(論文)Complementary-type analog input buffer is proposed for low-voltage operation in CMOS integratedcircuits. It consists of a conventional source-follower and an inverter-type input buffer. Small-signal analysis andcircuit simulation show that our new complementary-type analog input buffer has a comparable bandwidth andtwice gain compared to source-follower. Get PDFP(論文)Welding is widely used for construction of many structures. It is well known that residual stressis generated in welding. Tensile residual stress degrades fatigue strength. Then, some methods forreduction of residual stress are developed and practically used. In this paper, a new method forreduction of residual stress using vibration during welding is proposed. Authors tried to use vibrationwith various frequencies. First, vibration with relatively low frequency is used. Second, ultrasonicvibration is used. Finally, random vibration is used. For this activation, reliance on skills is not enough; it is also necessary to develop unique technologies of high novelty based on the latest scientific knowledge by making effective use of existing technologies available to small and medium-sized companies. We consider that the key to this activation is the cultivation of new human resources.The Tokyo Metropolitan College of Industrial Technology (TMCIT) is located in the heart of the Keihin Industrial Area, where many small and medium-sized companies are integrated. By assuming future production based on digitization, the Production Systems Engineering Department of TMCIT adopted 3D CAD for design education from the beginning, and has been promoting an education system of digital production using these databases. With the consideration that the advanced facilities at TMCIT will contribute to local small and medium-sized companies, we have been cultivating new engineering talent for these companies since 2006. So Shakespeare needed to use words very carefully to arouse the imagination of the audience. In that paper I analyzed the frequency of the color words in "A Midsummer Night's Dream".
