Loyalty Building Strategy in East Kalimantan Ecotourism Using Importance Performance Map Analysis

Ecotourism in East Kalimantan holds significant potential as a sustainable tourism model that not only preserves the natural environment but also enhances the welfare of local communities. However, challenges such as low tourist loyalty, limited accessibility, inadequate facilities, and less effective promotion continue to hinder its development. This study aims to formulate strategies for building tourist loyalty in ecotourism by applying Importance Performance Map Analysis (IPMA), which emphasizes variables with high influence but low performance. A mixed-methods approach was employed. Quantitative data were collected from 170 ecotourism visitors and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS), followed by IPMA mapping. Qualitative analysis was conducted through a review of tourism policies and regulations. The variables examined include Place, Findable, Fulfilling, attitude, promotion, interest, and subjective norms. The findings reveal that Place is the most important factor influencing loyalty, but its performance is low, particularly in terms of destination accessibility. Tourist interest plays a crucial moderating role, strengthening the effect of subjective norms and destination quality on loyalty, meaning that higher interest leads to greater likelihood of repeat visits. Subjective norms show relatively weak influence but can be improved through community-based strategies, visitor testimonials, and the use of local influencers. Furthermore, Findable and promotion contribute to strengthening loyalty by expanding digital information reach, while fulfilling and attitude require improvement through consistent tourist experiences and responsive service. Overall, the development of ecotourism in East Kalimantan cannot rely solely on natural attractions but requires a holistic strategy encompassing infrastructure improvement, digital promotion optimization, educational campaigns on ecotourism benefits, and active community involvement. Such an approach is expected to increase tourist satisfaction, foster long-term loyalty, and simultaneously support nature conservation and local cultural sustainability

Stunting remains a major public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly in rural areas such as Bone Regency. It reflects chronic malnutrition that affects physical growth, cognitive development, and long-term productivity. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between social status and stunting incidence in the working area of the Biru Community Health Center, Bone Regency, in 2025. The research was conducted using an analytical observational design with a cross-sectional approach. The study population consisted of 1,588 toddlers aged 24–59 months, with a sample of 107 respondents selected using the Lemeshow formula. Data were collected through structured interviews using validated questionnaires and secondary data from the health center and the district health office. Data analysis employed the Chi-square test and logistic regression to determine significant associations and dominant influencing factors. The results revealed a significant relationship between social status and stunting incidence (p = 0.030). Children from families with low social status had a higher risk of stunting (60.9%) compared to those from families with higher social status (35.7%). These findings indicate that educational level, parental occupation, and social participation are key social determinants influencing child nutritional status. The study emphasizes the need to strengthen community-based health interventions, including nutrition education, maternal empowerment, and active participation in posyandu activities, to reduce stunting prevalence. Strengthening collaboration among health workers, local government, and community leaders is essential to improve family health literacy and ensure sustainable stunting prevention in the Bone Regency area

This community service program aimed to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Tourism Awareness Group and enhance product competitiveness among coffee micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Sedau Tourism Village, West Lombok. Recognizing the interconnected challenges of weak organizational structure and unbranded, low-visibility products, the program implemented a participatory action research (PAR) based intervention that integrated organizational development with hands-on technical mentoring. Over two intensive days in June 2025, 8 Tourism Awareness Group members and 9 coffee MSME owners co-created tangible outputs through facilitated workshops and practical sessions. These included a collectively agreed vision-mission document, end-to-end coffee production standard operating procedures (SOPs), and culturally grounded packaging designs incorporating Sasak heritage motifs. A unified brand identity emerged from collaborative discussions, crystallized in the slogan “Kopi Sedau Jadi Tau” (“Once You Try Sedau Coffee, You’ll Know”). During digital marketing training, participants actively created or updated WhatsApp Business and Instagram profiles. Importantly, the packaging designs were printed and immediately adopted for commercial use, demonstrating early-stage implementation. Consistent with PAR principles, success is defined not by individual competency gains due to the absence of pre-post assessments but by the co-creation, local ownership, and immediate application of contextually relevant solutions. This integrated model offers a replicable framework for tourism village development that balances institutional strengthening with product-level innovation, laying a practical foundation for future competitiveness in regional and national markets

This study compares the performance of the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) and Multinomial Naïve Bayes (MNB) algorithms in classifying academic reference books based on their titles within the STMIK Widya Cipta Dharma library system. A dataset consisting of 2,153 cleaned book records was processed using the Knowledge Discovery in Databases (KDD) framework, including data selection, preprocessing, transformation, and classification. Book titles were normalized and transformed into numerical features using TF-IDF with unigram and bigram extraction. The dataset was split using a 75%–25% ratio, resulting in 1,614 training samples and 539 testing samples. Experimental results show that the KNN classifier achieves an accuracy of 72.72%, outperforming Multinomial Naïve Bayes with an accuracy of 62.70%. Confusion matrix analysis shows that KNN correctly classifies more book titles across categories. The superior performance of KNN is attributed to the sparse and short-text nature of book titles, which benefits distance-based similarity. These findings highlight the potential of machine-learning-based automated classification to improve cataloging and information retrieval in academic libraries

This study aims to analyze the implementation of educational human resource management (HRM) and its role in enhancing teachers’ professional competence in schools. In the current era of educational transformation, effective HRM is essential to ensure that teachers continuously develop their professional capacities in line with institutional goals and technological advancement. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, involving principals, teachers, and supervisors from five public schools in City Samarinda. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that educational HRM contributes significantly to teacher professionalism through three primary dimensions: 1. systematic career planning and competency-based professional development, 2. continuous training, mentoring, and academic supervision, and 3. transparent and fair performance evaluation and reward systems. Supporting factors include visionary and participatory leadership, collaborative organizational culture, and policy support from educational authorities. However, budget constraints, insufficient training facilities, and low teacher motivation remain as barriers to optimal HRM implementation. The study concludes that strengthening integrated, adaptive, and data-driven HRM practices particularly those aligned with digital transformation is crucial to fostering teachers’ professional competence and enhancing educational quality. Educational HRM should not be viewed merely as an administrative function but as a strategic and transformational framework for building a professional, innovative, and sustainable learning environment in the twenty-first century

Enhancing the quality of education in the digital era faces challenges, particularly in remote areas such as SATAP Besakolka in the South-Central Timor Regency. The low English proficiency among students in this region is often attributed to limited access to interactive, technology-based learning resources, leading to decreased motivation and poor learning outcomes. To address this gap, an innovative learning medium is required to capture student interest and facilitate comprehension effectively. This study aims to develop and empirically test the effectiveness of a learning medium that integrates Articulate Storyline with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Specifically, this research was designed to measure the significant difference in students' English abilities before and after the intervention and to determine the level of the medium's effectiveness in improving learning outcomes. This research employed a quantitative method with a Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The subjects were 30 third-grade students at SATAP Besakolka, selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data was collected through an objective test (multiple-choice) administered as a pretest and posttest, with the instrument having undergone expert validity testing. The collected data were statistically analyzed using the Paired Sample t-Test for the hypothesis and the Normalized Gain Score (N-Gain) to measure effectiveness. The data analysis revealed a statistically significant improvement in students' English language abilities. The Paired Sample t-Test yielded a significant value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), confirming a tangible difference between the pretest and posttest scores. Furthermore, the N-Gain calculation resulted in a score of 0.6912, indicating that the improvement in student learning outcomes falls within the "moderate" effectiveness category. Based on these findings, it is concluded that the use of a learning medium based on Articulate Storyline combined with AR is proven to be effective in enhancing students' English language skills. This innovation offers a practical and promising solution to enrich the learning experience and is adaptable for other schools facing similar challenges of limited facilities

The Effect Of Giving Natural ZPT On The Growth Of Cocoa Stem Cuttings (Theobroma cacao L.) From Plagiotropic Clonal Cocoa (PCC) Sulawesi Clone

Cocoa (Theobrama cacao L.) is one of the plantation products that has a very high economic value. Cocoa productivity has decreased every year. In 2019, cocoa productivity in Indonesia was 734,795 thousand tons and has decreased every year until 2022, cocoa productivity was 650,612 thousand tons. To overcome this, plant rejuvenation and provision of superior planting materials are needed. One common propagation technique is stem cuttings, which is growing new plants from parts of the parent plant. The success of propagation through cuttings is highly dependent on the ability of the cuttings to grow roots, a process that can be enhanced by administering plant growth regulators, especially those from the auxin group. This study aims to evaluate the effect of natural plant growth regulator (PGR) concentrations on clonal stem cuttings of Plagiotropic Cocoa (PCC) Sulawesi 01. The experiment was conducted from August 2024 to January 2025 at the Jember State Polytechnic. The non-factorial Randomized Complete Block Design (RBD) used was P0 (control), P1 to P4 (long bean sprout extract concentrations of 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80%, respectively), and P5 to P8 (coconut water concentrations of 20%, 40%, 60%, and 80%, respectively). Each treatment was repeated three times, with two experimental samples per replication. The results showed that the administration of natural ZPT at the highest coconut water concentration (80%, P8) significantly increased shoot height at 90, 120, and 150 days after planting (DAP), as well as root length at 150 DAP, compared to other treatments
