ROMANCE DE CORDÉLIA: UMA LEITURA SOBRE O CORPO E REPRESENTAÇÃO FEMININA
Get PDFThis article presents an analysis of the construction of the identity of the subject who speaks, feels, and suffers in the fictional narrative Novel of Cordelia (1998) by the Portuguese writer Rosa Lobato de Faria. The aim is to reflect on this construct within the literary work, focusing on the female figure that takes the lead in the novel. Throughout the text, it is noticeable that the situations experienced by Cordelia leave marks, which, according to the reflections of Elódia Xavier (2007), shape this female body as violated, subaltern, and disciplined. In order to achieve the intended goal, the reflections developed here sought theoretical support from studies on Gender, from Elisabeth Grosz (2000) e Michelle Perrot (2008), as well as on the body, addressing the theme of women in literature.Este artigo traz uma análise da construção da identidade do sujeito que fala, sente e sofre, na narrativa de ficção Romance de Cordélia (1998), de Rosa Lobato de Faria. O objetivo é refletir sobre este constructo dentro da obra literária, com enfoque para a figura feminina que protagoniza o romance. Ao longo do texto, é possível observar que as situações vividas por Cordélia deixam marcas, as quais, com base nas reflexões de Elódia Xavier (2007), tornam este corpo feminino violentado, subalterno e disciplinado. A fim de alcançar o que se propôs, as reflexões aqui desenvolvidas buscaram aporte teórico em estudos das questões de Gênero, a partir de Elisabeth Grosz (2000) e Michelle Perrot (2008), bem como sobre o corpo, voltando-se para o tema da mulher na literatura
FAMINTOS... E AS MARCAS DE SUBVERSÃO NA ESCRITA DE CARMEN DE FIGUEIREDO
Get PDFThis article is a study about the novel Famintos... (1950), written by Carmen de Figueiredo. Almost unknown to readers of her time, the author readers of her time and contemporaries, the author has notable works published during the dictatorship period in Portugal. The goal is to analyze the factors that make your writing subversive and how this subversion contributes to giving greater visibility to female characters. The analysis is developed based on the method of textual criticism and, as a theoretical-critical basis, we use the conceptions, among others, of Melo, 2017; Tavares, 2011; Zolin (2019a e b; 2010); Silva (2010; 2011); Pedrosa (2017) e Ferreira (1996). Our reading was intended to show how women are represented in this work, at a time of dictatorial political regime, dissonant from female stereotypes determined by the ideology of patriarchy.O presente artigo é um estudo sobre o romance Famintos... (1950), da escritora Carmen de Figueiredo. Pouco conhecida dos leitores de sua época e dos contemporâneos, a autora tem obras marcantes publicadas no período da ditadura em Portugal. O objetivo é analisar os fatores que tornam sua escrita subversiva e de que forma essa subversão contribui para dar maior visibilidade às personagens femininas. A análise é desenvolvida a partir do método da crítica textual e, como embasamento teórico-crítico, valemo-nos, dentre outros, das concepções de Melo, 2017; Tavares, 2011; Zolin (2019a e b; 2010); Silva (2010; 2011); Pedrosa (2017); e Ferreira (1996). Using as main theoretical references Paul Ricoeur and Hannah Arendt, we will seek to elucidate the motivations that led the narrator of the book to make his confession, at first sight, intending the remission of his guilt and the salvation of his soul.O objetivo principal deste nosso trabalho é discutir a questão dos crimes praticados e o posterior desejo de ser perdoado, situação que atormenta o protagonista do romance O mulo (1981), de Darcy Ribeiro. RIO NEGRO, RIO IÇANA, RIO SOLIMÕES E AS MULHERES INDÍGENAS NA LUTA PELOS SEUS TERRITÓRIOS — AMAZONAS / BRASIL
Get PDFThe article presents a theoretical research at the master’s level, in which the works of three indigenous thinkers from the state of Amazonas are analyzed. They represent the pedagogical thinking of their respective peoples and are active in different spaces of Amazonian society. These thinkers are: Alva Rosa Vieira, from the Tukano people, known as Alva Rosa Tukano; Francineia Fontes, from the Baniwa people, known as Francy Baniwa; and Altaci Rubim, from the Kokama people, known as Altaci Kokama. This research’s main goal is to highlight the life and work trajectories of indigenous women in the state in their struggle for the right to the existence of their peoples. For the composition of this work, we selected the following works: Território etnoeducacional rio Negro: significações de uma política públic (2017) by Alva Rosa Tukano; Minha escrevivência, experiências vividas e diálogo com as mulheres indígenas do rio Negro — Amazonas/Brasil (2020) by Francy Baniwa; and O reordenamento político e cultural do povo Kokama: a reconquista da língua e do território além das fronteiras entre o Brasil e o Peru (2016) by Altaci Kokama. Making these women and their research visible as a source of ancestral knowledge of the indigenous territories of the Amazon is a way to strengthen the scientific and ancestral production developed by indigenous women.O artigo apresenta uma pesquisa de cunho teórico em nível de mestrado, no qual analisa-se obras de três pensadoras indígenas do estado do Amazonas, representantes do pensamento pedagógico dos seus respectivos povos e que atuam em diferentes espaços da sociedade amazonense. São elas: Alva Rosa Vieira, do povo Tukano, conhecida como Alva Rosa Tukano; Francineia Fontes, do povo Baniwa, conhecida como Francy Baniwa; e Altaci Rubim, do povo Kokama, conhecida como Altaci Kokama. O objetivo principal desta pesquisa é evidenciar a trajetória de vida e obra de mulheres indígenas do estado na luta pelo direito à existência de seus povos. Para a composição deste trabalho, selecionamos as obras: Território etnoeducacional rio Negro: significações de uma política pública (2017), de Alva Rosa Tukano; Minha escrevivência, experiências vividas e diálogo com as mulheres indígenas do rio Negro — Amazonas/Brasil (2020), de Francy Baniwa; e O reordenamento político e cultural do povo Kokama: a reconquista da língua e do território além das fronteiras entre o Brasil e o Peru (2016), de Altaci Kokama. Visibilizar essas mulheres e suas pesquisas como fonte de conhecimento ancestral dos territórios indígenas do Amazonas é uma forma de fortalecer a produção científica e ancestral desenvolvida por mulheres indígenas
“ROSAS MORRENDO DE ESPERANÇA”: CONSTRUINDO A POESIA COMO FONTE HISTÓRICA SOBRE VIOLÊNCIAS EXTREMAS — O EXEMPLO DA PRIMEIRA GUERRA MUNDIAL
Get PDFThe present work is a theoretical essay on the use of poetry as a source for studies in historical anthropology regarding situations of extreme violence and violations of human rights. The case studied is the poetry written by combatants of World War I, understood as the inaugural violence of the 20th century, but also as the phenomenon that gave rise to new ways of thinking about violence, especially in terms of symbolic reappropriation and communication of atrocities. In the first part, the academic context that legitimized the use of poetry as a source will be examined. The second part of the essay will be dedicated to the theoretical foundation that allows such use. Finally, the author will justify this methodological choice and discuss the importance of this exercise for broader studies on violence and human rights violations.O presente trabalho é um ensaio teórico sobre a utilização da poesia como fonte para estudos de antropologia histórica sobre situações de violências extremas e violações dos direitos humanos. O caso estudado é o da poesia escrita por combatentes da Primeira Guerra mundial, entendida como a violência inaugural do século XX, mas também como o fenômeno que deu origem a novas maneiras de se pensar a violência e, sobretudo, de reapropriação simbólica e comunicação de atrocidades. Em um primeiro tempo, será interrogada a conjuntura acadêmica que legitimou a utilização da poesia como fonte. A segunda parte do ensaio será dedicada à fundamentação teórica que permite tal utilização. Finalmente, a autora justificará essa escolha metodológica e discutirá a importância desse exercício para estudos mais amplos sobre violências e violações dos direitos humanos
DE AEROPORTOS, AVIÕES E NUVENS: LEITURA PÚBLICA EM BIBLIOTECAS PLURIFUNCIONAIS DE PORTUGAL E DO BRASIL
Get PDFThe work presents the results of a study based on a bibliographic revision concerning the potential of public reading mediated by libraries in the critical and creative reading formation of users in order to contribute to the formation of cultural identity and the exercise of citizenship. Libraries meet specific socio-cultural development objectives in the territories where they are located, meaning they can and should dialogue with the contextual needs for transformation of the respective realities, often marked by deprivation of access to knowledge, which results in illiteracy and low levels of education. Access to information provides the opportunity to build knowledge, produce science, technology and innovation through the power of public Reading, promoted mainly through the democratization of access to books. Historians such as Alberto Manguel (1997), Frédéric Bardier (2018), Cristian Brayner (2018) and Irene Valejo (2022) encourage us to look at the millennial history of resistance of libraries in order to engage in the struggle for the maintenance of these cultural spaces for public reading, as well as the redefinition of their use through plurifunctionality.O trabalho apresenta os resultados de um estudo pautado em revisão bibliográfica sobre as potencialidades da leitura pública mediada por bibliotecas na formação leitora crítica e criativa de usuárias(os) a fim de contribuir para a formação da identidade cultural e o exercício da cidadania. As bibliotecas atendem a objetivos específicos de desenvolvimento sociocultural dos territórios onde estão instaladas, pelo que podem e devem dialogar com as necessidades contextuais de transformação de suas respectivas realidades, muitas vezes marcadas por privação do acesso ao saber que resulta em analfabetismo e baixo nível de escolaridade. O acesso à informação oportuniza construir conhecimento, produzir ciência, tecnologia e inovação pelo poder da leitura pública, promovida principalmente por meio da democratização do acesso aos livros. Historiadoras(es) como Alberto Manguel (1997), Frédéric Bardier (2018), Cristian Brayner (2018) e Irene Valejo (2022) nos incitam a olhar para a história milenar de resistência das bibliotecas a fim de nos engajarmos na luta pela manutenção destes espaços culturais de leitura pública, bem como na ressignificação do seu uso mediante a plurifuncionalidade

A MULHERES EMPREENDEDORAS DESAFIOS E CONQUISTAS EM BUSCA DE INCLUSÃO SOCIAL E ECONÔMICA: UM ESTUDO DE CASO DAS FEIRANTES DE MONTES CLAROS/MG
No full textEntrepreneurship is currently the subject of constant discussions within the economy, the business and social environment, since it is one of the main tools responsible for the social and economic development of a country, directly interfering in its economy. A scenario that began to be slowly modified with the Industrial Revolution, in this growing industrialization, women were employed in industries and workshops, but without leaving aside household chores, thus initiating a double journey. Even with the perceptive growth of women acting as entrepreneurs, several authors point out some barriers faced by women in this condition. Considering that female entrepreneurship has great economic potential, the present work aims to understand the challenges and achievements of the enterprising street vendors in Montes Claros, who seek social and economic inclusion. It started with the importance of understanding the reasons that led the marketers to choose to undertake and how they deal with the multiplicity of tasks, in their personal and professional lives, often becoming considered the breadwinner of their families. The research is characterized as bibliographic and field. In this way, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with the entrepreneurs, meaning a formal procedure of obtaining information through the speech of the respondents. The results show that among the biggest challenges faced by women entrepreneurs are: lack of capital to be invested, reconciling personal and professional life and the oscillation of the market/economy. According to the results obtained, it can be concluded that the main reason women take to undertake is: to do what they like, and even with the multiplicity of tasks there is a flexibility of schedules that can be favorable mainly for those who are mothers. . Since the main achievements are focused on material goods such as: higher income, acquisition of real estate, travel, among others, and consequently social inclusion.Atualmente empreendedorismo é tema de discussões constantes dentro da economia, do meio empresarial e social, uma vez que o mesmo é uma das principais ferramentas responsáveis pelo desenvolvimento social e econômico de um país, interferindo diretamente em sua economia. Um cenário que começou a ser modificado lentamente com a Revolução Industrial, nesta crescente industrialização as mulheres se empregaram nas fábricas e oficinas, mas sem deixar os fazeres do lar de lado, iniciando assim uma dupla jornada. Mesmo com o crescimento perceptivo das mulheres foram como empreendedoras vários autores apontam algumas barreiras enfrentadas por mulheres nessa condição. Considerando que o empreendedorismo feminino tem um grande potencial econômico,o presente trabalho objetiva compreender os desafios e conquistas das feirantes empreendedoras de Montes Claros, que buscam por inclusão social e econômica. Partiu-se da importância de compreender os motivos que levaram as feirantes a optar por empreender e como elas lidam com as multiplicidades de tarefas, na vida pessoal e profissional, chegando a ser, por muitas vezes, pensava o arrimo das suas famílias. A pesquisa é identificada como bibliográfica e de campo. Dessa forma os dados foram coletados por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas junto às empreendedoras, significando um procedimento formal de se obter informações por meio da fala dos pesquisados. Os resultados mostram que entre os maiores desafios enfrentados pelas empreendedoras estão: falta de capital a ser investido,a conciliação da vida pessoal e profissional e a oscilação do mercado/economia. De acordo com os resultados obtidos pode-se concluir que o principal motivo a levarem as mulheres a empreender consiste em: fazer o que gostam, e mesmo com a multiplicidade de tarefas existe uma flexibilidade de horários que podem ser respeitadas principalmente para as que são mães . Sendo que as principais conquistas estão voltadas para bens materiais como: uma renda maior, aquisição de imóveis, viagens entre outros e consequentemente a inclusão social
