DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR SELECTING TOURIST ATTRACTIONS OF TRADITIONAL HOUSE AND CULTURE IN SOUTHWEST SUMBA REGENCY USING TOPSIS

    Get PDF
Southwest Sumba Regency (SBD) in East Nusa Tenggara has unique cultural tourism potential, including the traditional houses of the Sumba tribe, which are still preserved. These houses reflect the cultural and spiritual values of the local community through their architecture and traditional building materials such as bamboo, wood, and thatch. In addition to traditional houses, Sumba’s culture is rich in traditional rituals, ikat weaving arts, and megalithic tombstones. However, the lack of information regarding the locations of these tourist attractions poses a challenge for tourists who wish to explore SBD. Many tourists struggle to find lesser-known tourist spots due to the limited real-time information and promotional media. Therefore, a decision support system (DSS) based on the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) method is proposed to assist tourists in selecting travel destinations in SBD. TOPSIS is considered effective because it ranks alternatives based on the shortest distance from the ideal positive solution and the longest distance from the ideal negative solution. This system allows tourists to receive recommendations for travel destinations by considering various criteria, such as distance, cost, facilities, and transportation. This research demonstrates that the TOPSIS method successfully provides the best recommendations from 14 tourist locations in SBD, with the Pasola Festival and Watu Malandong being the top choices with a score of 0.6958, followed by the Sumba Cultural House with a score of 0.6561. The DSS based on TOPSIS helps accelerate the process of searching for and selecting travel destinations according to tourists' needs, facilitates the promotion of lesser-known tourist spots, and supports the local government in promoting tourism in SBD. Thus, this system is expected to provide a practical solution for tourists in discovering tourist attractions in SBD

Perlakuan terdiri atas: 1) P0=kontrol (tanpa pemupukan), 2) P1=100% pupuk dasar, 3) P2=urea 400 kg/ha+rock phosphate 150 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha, 4) P3=urea 400 kg/ha+pupuk fosfat uji 150 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha, 5) P4=urea 400 kg/ha+pupuk fosfat uji 200 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha, 6) P5=urea 400 kg/ha+pupuk fosfat uji 250 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha, 7) P6=urea 400 kg/ha+pupuk fosfat uji 300 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha. Efforts to increase corn production can be carried out by applying balanced compound fertilizer. The research was conducted at the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, Brawijaya University in Jatikerto, Kepanjen District, Malang Regency. The research design used a randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 7 treatments with 3 replications. Treatments consisted of: 1) P0=control (without fertilization), 2) P1=100% basic fertilizer, 3) P2=urea 400 kg/ha+rock phosphate 150 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha, 4) P3= urea 400 kg/ha+phosphate fertilizer test 150 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha, 5) P4=urea 400 kg/ha+phosphate fertilizer test 200 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha, 6) P5=urea 400 kg/ha+test phosphate fertilizer 250 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha, 7) P6=urea 400 kg/ha+test phosphate fertilizer 300 kg/ha+KCl 75 kg/ha. The data was analyzed by ANOVA and continued with the DMRT test at 5% level. Next, correlation and regression analysis was carried out to see the relationship and influence between parameters. The research results show that the application of phosphate-based inorganic fertilizer can significantly increase plant growth (plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter), corn production (length and diameter of cobs, dry weight of shells), and plant nutrient uptake. The application dose of test phosphate fertilizer (~300 kg/ha) was able to increase plant nutrient uptake and corn production, while the application dose (200-250 kg/ha) of test phosphate fertilizer was the optimal fertilizer dose in increasing total P content and soil available P. The relationship between P uptake and corn production has a positive relationship with a strong level of closeness, which means that high P nutrient uptake can increase corn production. Â

    Get PDF
With the rapid advancement of technology, the emergence of Non-Fungible Token (NFT) platforms has revolutionized digital buying and selling. However, this innovative platform has also given rise to a concerning issue: the unintentional trade of personal data instead of artwork. This problem poses a significant challenge in protecting individuals' personal information, especially when items like National Identity Card (KTP) photos are sold as NFT assets. This research aims to explore the critical importance of legal education in safeguarding personal data, thus preventing such transactions that may lead to self-harm. Employing a normative juridical method and a conceptual approach, this study extensively analyzes legal aspects and regulations related to personal data protection. The findings underscore the urgent need for legal education to effectively address personal data transactions on NFT sites within marketplace platforms. Despite the implementation of the Personal Data Protection Act (Law Number 27 of 2022), it is clear that the legislation alone is insufficient. Given the gravity of the issue, comprehensive public education initiatives involving various segments of society are crucial. Protecting personal data has become a matter of utmost concern for the government, the state, NFT platform users, and internet users at large. Individuals must adopt a vigilant and proactive approach in safeguarding their personal data. Legal education programs, including outreach activities conducted by governmental and non-governmental entities, along with the involvement of students and academics in community counseling, can effectively support this objective

    Get PDF
In today's rapidly advancing technological era, safeguarding personal data is paramount in ensuring the privacy and security of individuals while preventing misuse or unauthorized access to their private information. As information technology and the internet continue to evolve, personal data has become a highly valuable asset for many companies and organizations. Threats to the security of personal data, such as irresponsible data dissemination in online lending operations, have the potential to lead to a host of serious issues, including identity theft, financial fraud, privacy breaches, and identity theft. The research method employed here is the normative legal research method. In Indonesia, the protection of personal data is governed by Law Number 27 of 2022 concerning Personal Data Protection. This law provides a crucial legal framework for safeguarding the privacy and security of citizens' personal information, with clear definitions and broad scope. Its aim is to protect individuals' rights related to the collection, use, processing, storage, and deletion of personal data by involved parties. The foundation of personal data protection regulation in Indonesia also rests on the principle that personal data protection is a fundamental human right that is inviolable, as recognized and respected by the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia. The Personal Data Protection Law has established criminal sanctions for offenders, such as those involved in personal data theft or unauthorized data dissemination, with the hope of deterring such actions and upholding the privacy and security of individuals' personal data
