The Proliferation of Undocumented Indonesian Migrant Workers in Batam: A Legal Analysis
Indonesian Migrant Workers refer to any citizen who is currently or has engaged in employment beyond the borders of Indonesia, receiving wages or compensation. The prevalent issue at hand is the rising number of Indonesian Migrant Workers operating illegally, driven by individuals offering unofficial services with enticing proposals to the public. This study employs a normative legal research approach, utilizing secondary data that encompasses primary legal materials such as Law Number 18 of 2017 concerning the Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers, secondary legal materials including articles, news, and other literature, as well as tertiary legal materials. Indonesia actively takes part in addressing the concerns of Indonesian Migrant Workers by enacting Law Number 18 of 2017 to ensure the fulfillment of their rights and legal protection, including criminal provisions against wrongdoers. Efforts to address this issue involve public awareness campaigns and legal measures against those engaging in criminal activities

In this case, the occurrence of what is done seller of land to a buyer who has good faith which result in a binding sale and purchase agreement that has been agreed and sight by boyh parties. So the purpose of this study is to determine the factors that cause the seller’s default on the sale and purchase binding agreement as well as the legal consequence of the default commited by the seller and how the (legal) efforts to resolves default disputes in the land sale and purchase binding agreemenat.The research method is using normative juridical research methods that are studied using a statutory research approach, literatur, papers, and books and using descriptive analysis. From the results of this study it can be conclude that the occurrence of default in the sale binding agreement made by the seller to the buyer is caused by a negligence factor in which there is an element of intentionality in the from of no good faith from the seller. After the most recent BRICS Summit in South Africa in August, there was a new addition to the BRICS membership. However, Indonesia was not included in the list. Yet on previous occasions at the BRICS-Africa Outreach and BRICS Plus Dialogue sessions, Indonesian President Joko Widodo emphasised the importance of developing countries coming together to fight for their rights. Indonesia is often considered a leading candidate to join BRICS. Indonesia's potential for BRICS is clear. Indonesia is the world's fourth largest population, a fast-growing economy with the potential to become one of the world's top five economies by 2045, and a major force in Southeast Asia. The idea of Indonesia joining BRICS has emerged more than a decade ago, and Indonesia itself has participated in several BRICS meetings. Over the past two years, the concept of Indonesia officially joining BRICS has been revived with support from some parties such as China. However, Indonesian President Jokowi informed the public that the Indonesian government had decided not to send a letter of interest as it did not want to rush into membership. Optimasi Kualitas Sealing terhadap Produk Bad Seal pada Mesin Filling Auto Cup Sealer
The rapid growth has an impact on consumer demand for quality products, high quality and safe for consumption. In the production of cup packaged beverages after a series of product manufacturing processes are completed until they are released to the next process, bad seal leaking products are still found (poor sealing). Bad seal leaks are caused by a poor sealing process so that the product is not evenly sealed and results in packaging leakage considering that it can damage the quality and quality of the product. This research uses a real experimental method (True Experimental Research) using tensile testing with a Tensile Strenght Test tool. After conducting experiments on the appropriate settings to reduce the occurrence of bad seals in the filling machine sealing process, a parameter of 7 bar is set for each heater block, at the baket rotation speed setting after analyzing the parameter data carried out by the filling operator and QC line and conducting experiments, the appropriate parameter setting is obtained to reduce the occurrence of bad seal products, namely speed 5 (20 rpm) with a sealing process of 0.16 seconds, with the temperature that has been analyzed, a temperature of 200 ℃ is obtained as the appropriate standard temperature
Pengaruh Temperatur dan Zeolit terhadap Volume dan Nilai Kalor Tar Pada Proses Pirolisis Serbuk Batang Bambu
Waste is a problem in Indonesia, both organic and non-organic waste. Bambo powder is an organic waste that can still be utilized to produce energy using the pyrolysis method. The research aims to utilize bambo waste to produce tar using pyrolysis process with temperature variation and with the addition of zeolite. The research method uses 200 g of bamboo powder with a moisture content of less than 2% and 40 g of zeolite and a heating process with a duration of 3 hours. The pyrolysis gas was condensed to obtain tar. The research produced the most tar products at a temperature of 550 ⁰C as much as 57 milli and 72 milli in the addition of zeolite. In the pure pyrolysis process, the highest calorific value was obtained at a temperature of 450 ⁰C amounting to 149.27 (cal/g) at the addition of zeolite, the highest calorific value was obtained at a temperature of 550 ⁰C amounting to 248.29 (cal/g). This shows that adding zeolite to the pyrolysis process can increase the amount of tar when compared to pure pyrolysis both in quality and quantity

One of the alternative energies that can be developed is hydrogen. To obtain hydrogen gas by decomposing air compounds (H2O) into hydrogen hydrogen oxygen gas (HHO) through electrolysis. considering the limited energy from the currently available mining materials is increasingly depleted. In order to overcome the above, one solution is to utilize the existence of alternative energy forms by utilizing electrical energy in the form of hydrogen gas stored in H2 which also comes from air (H2O) which can now be used for energy. Through this method, a catalyst is added to improve combustion efficiency in the HHO generator and after research, the addition of 14 grams of catalyst was able to increase energy as seen from the height of the flame 16 mm from the electrolysis process

Menurut Undang-Undang No. 20 tahun 2008, UMKM didefinisikan sebagai Usaha produktif milik orang perorang dan atau badan usaha perorangan yang memenuhi kriteria usaha mikro, memiliki kekayaan bersih paling banyak Rp 50.000.000 (lima puluh juta rupiah) tidak termasuk tanah dan bangunan tempat usaha atau memiliki hasil penjualan tahunan paling banyak Rp. 300.000.000,00 (tiga ratus juta rupiah). Salah satu UMKM yang memproduksi makanan ringan adalah Echo Poll, sebuah UMKM dari desa Ngijo, Kecamatan Karangploso, Kabupaten Malang. UKM ini dirintis 2 oleh ibu Tiara yang didirikan sejak tahun 2017. UMKM Echo Poll ini telah memanfaatkan beberapa media social dalam proses pemasaran, berupa Instagram dan juga whatsaap, akan tetapi masih terdapat masalah dalam pengelolaan akun Instagram, yaitu kurang aktifnya dalam memasarkan produk. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam digital marketing dan sosial media. Metode yang dilakukan dalam program kerja ini ialah memberikan penyuluhan, pelatihan, diskusi, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari evaluasi kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa karyawan UMKM Echo Poll dapat memahami, dan membuat akun media sosial untuk pemasaran. Dengan hal ini, UMKM Echo Poll menjadi lebih mudah untuk melakukan pemasaran secara digital sehingga membuat jangkauan usahanya lebih luas dan penjualan semakin meningkat
PERANCANGAN ALAT PENGHITUNG BIBIT LELE BERBASIS ARDUINO ATMEGA
Perhitungan jumlah bibit bagi penjual ikan lele masih dilakukan secara manual, yaitu menghitung satu persatu, menimbang, atau menyaring. Perhitungan manual membutuhkan waktu, tenaga dan kecermatan untuk mendapatkan jumlah yang diinginkan. Dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut sebuah sistem perhitungan bibit ikan lele ukuran besar dan ukuran kecil berbasis arduino, dilengkapi dengan sensor LDR untuk mendeteksi bibit ikan lele dan motor servo untuk ON dan OFF ball valve secara otomatis. Hasil pengujian terhadap 30 bibit menunjukan bahwa dalam 1 detik dapat menghitung 5 bibit lele besar dan 7 bibit lele kecil, sedangkan untuk pengujian terhadap 50 bibit menunjukan bahwa dalam 1 detik dapat menghitung 4 bibit lele besar dan 6 bibit lele kecil. Hasil uji komparasi dengan nilai α 0.05 untuk jumlah percobaan 30 dan 50 bibit lele besar dan bibit lele kecil menunjukan tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan
PENGARUH KETEBALAN MULSA JERAMI PADI TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI BEBERAPA VARIETAS KEDELAI (Glycine max L. Mer) PADA LAHAN MASAM
ABSTRAKKedelai (Glycine max L) adalah salah satu komoditas tanaman pangan penting di Indonesia. Produksi kedelai yang ada belum dapat mencukupi kebutuhan dalam negeri Indonesia. Berdasarkan data BPS hingga Bulan Desember 2023 produksi kedelai Indonesia berkisar 0.555 ton, sementara kebutuhan dalam negeri mencapai 2.7 juta ton. Salah satu upaya mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan lahan kering masam untuk budidaya tanaman adalah dengan menggunakan mulsa organik. Mulsa organik berasal dari bahan yang mudah terurai sehingga menambah bahan organik dalam tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ketebalan mulsa jerami padi terhadap pertumbuhan dan produksi beberapa varietas kedelai. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Alue Dua, Langsa Baro, Kota Langsa, Provinsi Aceh. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-November 2023. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor. Faktor pertama adalah ketebalan mulsa jerami padi 4 taraf, yaitu: Mo = Kontrol; Mâ‚ = 5 cm; M2 = 7.5 cm dan M3 = 10 cm. Faktor kedua adalah varietas yang terdiri dari 4 taraf , yaitu: V1 = Demas 1; V2 = Dega 1; V3 = Detap 1 dan V4 = Dena 1. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa interaksi perlakuan ketebalan mulsa jerami padi dan varietas tidak berpengaruh terhadap semua parameter yang diamati. Perlakuan ketebalan mulsa hanya berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman kedelai pada 14 HST. Perlakuan varietas kedelai berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman umur 14, 28 dan 42 HST, umur berbunga, jumlah cabang produktif dan berat 100 biji. Berat 100 biji paling berat dihasilkan oleh perlakuan V4 (Varietas Dena 1), yaitu 23.00 gram.  ABSTRACTSoybean (Glycine max L) is one of the important food crop commodities in Indonesia. Existing soybean production has not been able to meet Indonesia's domestic needs. Based on BPS data until December 2023, Indonesia's soybean production was around 0.555 tons, while domestic demand reached 2.7 million tons. One effort to optimize the use of acidic dry land for plant cultivation was to use organic mulch. Organic mulch comes from materials that were easily decomposed so that it added organic matter to the soil. This study aimed to determine the effect of rice straw mulch thickness on the growth and production of several soybean varieties. The study was conducted in Alue Dua, Langsa Baro, Langsa City, Aceh Province. This study was conducted in August-November 2023. The study used a factorial randomized block design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the thickness of 4 levels of rice straw mulch, namely: Mo = Control; Mâ‚ = 5 cm; M2 = 7.5 cm and M3 = 10 cm. The second factor was the variety consisting of 4 levels, namely: V1 = Demas 1; V2 = Dega 1; V3 = Detap 1 and V4 = Dena 1. The results showed that the interaction of the treatment of rice straw mulch thickness and variety did not affect all observed parameters. Mulch thickness treatment only had a significant effect on soybean plant height at 14 HST. Soybean variety treatment had a significant effect on plant height at 14, 28 and 42 HST, flowering age, number of productive branches and weight of 100 seeds. The heaviest weight of 100 seeds was produced by the V4 treatment (Dena 1 Variety), which was 23.00 grams.Â
