ANTIPHONARIUM.Carthusian,Breviarium Carthusiensc 1523 ff. 135"-13 r. Since only one Carthusian monastery was situated in Sweden-Finland during the Middle Ages, Mariefred (domus Pads Mariae, founded in 1493), it is obvious that the original manuscript once belonged to it.
Carthusian liturgical books and their remnants from medieval Sweden are very few, see Collijn 1935 pp. 147-178, Schmid 1938 (b), and the remark accompanying the description of Antiphoner No. 191. Cf. Lehmann 1935 pp. 3-20.
