13-14th cc. Large initials: 1) blue (darkish tone), ornamented with red hairlines, and 2) red, ornamented with blue hairlines. On fi V there is a splendid large initial (blue and red elements) for the great responsory Fvit homo missus V Erat. Quadratic notation on a red four-line staff (10.5-12 mm), b rotundum functions as a clef as well. Photograph off. 3r on p. 30.
ANTIPHONARIUM CUM COLLECTIS ET CAPITULIS, secular. The feast of St. Francis (can. 1228) is ignored (4th of October). E 1 Qohannis Baptistae] beginning [e]ruam te, the closing words of the 3rd ant. of the I nocturn, [Ne timeas a facie], and ending here[mo] of the 3rd resp. of the II noct., Elizabeth zacharie. A remark in the margin changes the order of the great responsories.The new pattern largely agrees with those in the Dominican breviary and in the breviaries of Uppsala and Västerås, for example. However, the verse (V Ne timeas) for the 4th resp. Desceudit angelus is not that documented in the late medieval tradition of Uppsala, Breviarium Upsalense 1496 f. H [j]'.Those responsories which are lacking from the said liturgies have no revisory number in our fragment. F. 2 [Michaelis archangeli] beginning celitus of the 3rd resp. of the III noct.. | Te sanctum Dominum V Cherubin]. e*" The doxology for the said responsory goes: (iloria patri etfilio cius etemo et sancto spiritui paraclito. On f. 1 there are two headlines, the latter one is associated with Sweden.

14th c. Large initials: 1) dark blue (iron blue), and 2) red. In general small initials are highlighted with red. Quadratic notation on a red four-line staff (8 mm), b rotundum, b quadratum, cephalicus. Since the left column on f. 4' is filled only partly, tve understand that this is the closing leaf of the pars estivalis. Photograph off. 3'on p. 45. Bears a stylistic resemblance to Antiphoners Nos. 28 and 30. The measures between sewing holes are also apparent. Note the cameral records as well. Antiphoner No. 36 (Lincopense ?) may be have been produced by the same scriptorium.

SRA KA KBTheol.A 103 o 1 (Dominican hymnary) is work of the same school. Moberg 1947 (a) pp. 101-102 assigns a 15th-century date to this manuscript (b/tv reproduction in Nilsson 1991 Abb. 35).

14-15th cc. One red (colour faded) and one blue large initial is visible, small initials are highlighted with red. Many small initials are completed with a human head-like figure as well. Quadratic notation on a red four-line staff (14 mm, ruled with a rastrum), custos, b rotundum, linea. In some cases the chant incipit is indicated by a duplex linea. Photograph ofi fil" on p. 102. Probably from the same school as SRA KA Baltiska fogderäkenskaper F. 365. According to Milveden 1962 pp. 63-65 the last mentioned is Aboense from the turn ofi the 15th and 16th centuries.

F. 1 Sancti iohannis ante portam latinam; In festo beati erici regis et martiris ending with the first word of the verse of the 3rd resp. at matins, O miles V Pcrueniant. <¦" Certainly this version of the St. Eric office represents its shorter form, because the opening rubric for the antiphons at matins reads /;; nocturno antiphona.The present writer interprets this to mean a matins of one nocturn. Dr. Haapanen had seemingly hesitated over the existence of this form of the office, because he did not accept the documentation in his study of the original form of the office. ANTIPHONARIUM. Nordic, conforms to Dominican use except for the office of St. Olaf, Breviarium Dominicanum 1485 ff. [h vij]r - [h viij]", [135]'-[138]", [ee viij]". Since the said office is copied after the usual sequence of the sanctorale, it is a supplement to the original manuscript. The cameral headline on f. 2" indicates Finnish provenance.
