Dr. Haapanen has enclosed a small note to f. 1, in which he explains that the leaf was separated from a recently found fly-leaf of a missal, the length (sic) of which was 25.8 cm. The cameral headline was, he writes, "Ärlige Renttan aff Östrebotnen anno 1550". This might be the same as Grönblad'sNo.4541. F. 2" 4534 d "Raffwall Halwardsons Regenskap Aff Östrebotnen i Korszholms Län på nebbeskatten Szåm Biscoptz Rentan i Ååbo, tilförende warith Haffwer Och Lyder Regenskapen till Anno etc 48".

AntiphonalLiturgySaec. xv - xviNordic*15116th cc. Large and small initials are alike in their coloration and shape: written in text ink and highlighted with red. Quadratic notation on a red four-line staff (12 mm, ruled with a rastrum), linea, custos, b rotundum. In general a vertical stroke is drawn on each side of the note head. Thus they are influenced by the so-called "decadent" style of quadratic notation. Photograph off un.'on p. 219. Antiphoner No. 196 (Dominican) bears a strong stylistic resemblance to this one.
