    UJI KETELITIAN CETAK PRODUK LENGKUNG PRINTER 3D ANET A8

    This study aims to determine the accuracy of the Anet A8 3D Printer in printing curved products with the infill speed, print speed and layer height factors in order to obtain optimal results and determine the most influential parameters in printing curved products using the Anet A8 3D Printer. The method used in testing the accuracy of printing 3D printing products is Taguchi L9. From this study it can be concluded that the most optimal process parameters for the accuracy of the dimensions of the specimen diameter are successively for accuracy, namely layer height (0.3000 mm), infil speed (50 mm/s) and layer speed (30 mm/s) then the most optimal process parameters for the accuracy of the curved dimensions of the specimen are successively for accuracy, namely layer height (0.2000 mm), infil speed (50 mm/s). s) and layer speed (40 mm/s). The results of the ANOVA analysis show that the most contributed parameter in printing curved specimens with the diameter dimension is the layer height and the curved dimension is the infill speed.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui parameter yang paling berpengaruh dalam mencetak produk berbentuk lengkung menggunakan 3D Printer Anet A8 dengan memvariasikan faktor-faktor infill speed, print speed dan layer height. Metode eksperimen dan analisis yang digunakan dalam uji ketelitian cetak produk 3D Printing ini adalah Taguchi L9. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa parameter proses yang paling baik untuk akurasi dimensi diameter spesimen yaitu secara berturut turut terhadap keakurasian yaitu layer height (0,3000 mm), infil speed (50 mm/s) dan layer speed (30 mm/s) kemudian parameter proses yang paling optimal untuk akurasi dimensi lengkung spesimen yaitu secara berturut turut terhadap keakurasian yaitu layer height (0,2000 mm), infil speed (50 mm/s) dan layer speed (40 mm/s). Hasil analisis ANOVA parameter yang paling berkontribusi dalam keakurasian pencetakan spesimen lengkung pada dimensi diameter adalah layer height sedangkan pada  dimensi lengkung adalah infil speed

    RANCANG BANGUN ALAT PENGERING BAJU MENGGUNAKAN UDARA PANAS

    Pengeringan adalah proses perpindahan panas dan uap air secara simultan yang memerlukan energi panas untuk menguapkan kandungan air. Energi panas ini biasanya bisa didapatkan dari sinar matahari. Namun ketika musim penghujan, kondisi ini menghambat proses pengeringan yang memanfaatkan sinar matahari, sehingga proses pengeringan membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. Maka dari itu diperlukan suatu alat bantu yang dapat mengeringkan baju tanpa tergantung pada sumber panas dari pancaran sinar matahari. Alat pengering Baju adalah Alat yang digunakan untuk mengeringkan pakaian dengan energi panas buatan, salah satu penghasil panas buatan adalah elemen pemanas atau yang sering disebut dengan heater. Elemen pemanas buatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah Electric Heater. Electric Heater ini dilengkapi dengan kipas yang dapat menghasilkan suhu dalam ruangan hingga ± 52,3º C sehingga panas yang dihasilkan Electric Heater dapat mengubah air yang terkandung dalam pakaian menjadi uap air yang kemudian akan dilepas ke lingkungan dengan bantuan kipas. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dan pengujian, Kemampuan alat ini mampu menguapkan massa air rata-rata 535.8 gram/jam dan mesin ini mencapai titik optimumnya untuk jumlah pengeringan pakaian yang dapat dikeringkan sebanyak 6 baju.Drying is a process of transferring heat and water vapor simultaneously which requires heat energy to evaporate the water content. This heat energy can usually be obtained from sunlight. However, during the rainy season, this condition inhibits the drying process that utilizes sunlight, so the drying process takes a long time. Therefore we need a tool that can dry clothes without depending on the heat source from the sun's rays. The clothes dryer is a tool used to dry clothes with artificial heat energy, one of the artificial heat producers is a heating element or what is often called a heater. The artificial heating element used in this research is Electric Heater. This Electric Heater is equipped with a fan that can produce an indoor temperature of up to ± 52.3º C so that the heat generated by the Electric Heater can convert the water contained in the clothes into water vapor which will then be released into the environment with the help of a fan. Based on the results of calculations and testing, the ability of this tool is able to evaporate an average mass of water of 535.8 grams/hour and this machine reaches its optimum point for the number of drying clothes that can be dried as many as 6 clothes

    DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION OF GEAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT SETTING TOOLS AS A LEARNING MEDIA IN THE MACHINE REPAIR AND MAINTENANCE LABORATORY

    Alignment is a technique used to maintain machine components that rotate or transfer power so they can operate as effectively as possible and prevent damage to other machine components from errors made during installation or maintenance. Alignment is a maintenance activity that is often carried out on machines in industry and machines within the Morowali Metal Industry Polytechnic, especially in the Mechanical Maintenance Engineering Study Program. Competency in the alignment of gears and bearings is very much needed for prospective mechanics in the industry. The purpose of making this tool is as a simulation tool for learning alignment to achieve straightness and centricity between two rotating shafts (drive and driven shaft) to prevent friction, vibration, and other problems that can reduce tool life and, of course, increase expenditure costs. for repair or replacement of heavy equipment. In the process of designing this alignment tool, a drive method is used in the form of a sprocket and chain, where the link between the drive motor and the shaft to be moved is the sprocket and chain method. This research serves to help produce a design by considering the user's perspective so that the design results can be useful effectively. From the test results, the gear alignment setting tool can function well with the help of an inverter so that motor rotation can be reduced and can be controlled according to the desired conditions. The previous alignment setting tool had an RPM: of 1450.8 and the alignment setting tool that was made had an RPM: of 1455.7 with a frequency of 50 Hz so it can be concluded that this tool can be used for practical work in machine repair and maintenance laboratories.  Alignment adalah salah satu teknik yang digunakan untuk memelihara komponen mesin yang berputar atau mentransfer daya sehingga dapat beroperasi seefektif mungkin dan mencegah kerusakan pada komponen mesin lainnya dari kesalahan yang dibuat selama pemasangan atau pemeliharaan. Alignment merupakan kegiatan perawatan yang banyak dilakukan pada mesin-mesin di industri maupun mesin-mesin yang ada di lingkungan Politeknik Industri Logam Morowali khususnya di Prodi Teknik Perawatan Mesin, kompetensi alignment pada roda gigi dan bantalan/bearing sangat dibutuhkan bagi calon mekanik di industri. Pembuatan alat ini bertujuan untuk sebagai alat simulasi pembelajaran alignment agar mencapai kelurusan dan sentrisitas antara dua poros yang berputar (penggerak dan poros yang digerakkan) untuk mencegah gesekan, getaran, dan masalah lain yang dapat mengurangi masa pakai alat dan, tentu saja, meningkatkan biaya pengeluaran untuk perbaikan atau penggantian alat berat. Proses perancangan alat alignment ini menggunakan metode penggerak berupa sprocket dan rantai dimana penghubung antara motor penggerak dengan poros yang akan digerakan yaitu menggunakan metode sprocket dan rantai. Dalam penelitian ini berfungsi untuk membantu menghasilkan rancangan dengan mempertimbangkan prespektif pengguna, sehingga hasil rancangan dapat bermanfaat secara efektif. Dari hasil uji coba alat setting alignment roda gigi dapat berfungsi dengan baik dengan bantuan inverter sehingga putaran motor dapat direduksi dan dapat dikontrol sesuai dengan ketentuan yang diinginkan. Alat setting alignment sebelumnya memiliki RPM: 1450.8 dan untuk alat setting alignment yang dibuat memiliki RPM: 1455.7 dengan frequency 50 Hz sehingga dapat disimpulkan alat tersebut dapat digunakan untuk praktikum pada laboratorium perbaikan dan pemeliharaan mesin

    Identifkasi Bakteri dan Fungi Udara pada Pusat Perbelanjaan di Pangkal Pinang

    Shopping center is one of the densest areas of human activity, so that the gathering of humans can cause transmission of microorganisms that cause air borne disease.  This research was conducted to find out the various types of air pollutant bacteria and fungi on the 2nd Floor of One of the Shopping Center Areas in Pangkal Pinang City. This research was conducted experimentally using Nutrien Agar and Potato Dextrose Agar media for enumeration of bacteria and fungi. Identification of bacteria and fungi was carried out macroscopically, microscopically and biochemically. The results of this study showed that there were 9 bacterial isolates and 4 fungal isolates. The genus of bacteria found is Bacillus sp. Staphylococcus sp. and Nitrobacter sp. As for the genus of fungi found, among others, namely Aspergillus sp. The total bacteria and fungi present in the air in the shopping center have not exceeded the quality standards that have been set, so that it can be said that the air in one of the Pangkal Pinang City Shopping Centers is still healthyPusat perbelanjaan merupakan salah satu kawasan yang padat akan aktivitas manusia, sehingga dengan berkumpulnya manusia dapat menyebabkan terjadi penularan dari mikroorganisme yang menjadi penyebab penyakit pada manusia melalui udara. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui macam-macam jenis bakteri dan fungi pencemar udara di bagian lantai 2 salah satu kawasan Pusat Perbelanjaan di Kota Pangkal Pinang. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara eksperimental dengan menggunakan media Nutrien Agar dan Potato Dextrose Agar untuk enumerasi bakteri dan jamur. Identifikasi bakteri dan fungi dilakukan secara makroskopik, mikroskopik dan biokimia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan terdapat 9 isolat bakteri dan 4 isolat jamur. Adapun genus bakteri yang di temukan yaitu Bacillus sp. Staphylococcus sp. Sedangkan untuk genus fungi yang ditemukan antara lain yaitu Aspergillus sp.     Kepala Timah (Aplocheilus panchax, Hamilton 1822) is one of the fish that has the survival abilities to live in a wide variety of quality waters. The ability of A. panchax to survive in acidic waters has begun to be widely studied as extremophile fish to study ecosystems in aquatic habitats that have acidic characteristics. This study aimed to determine the food habits of A. panchax as natural food in acid water of abandoned ex-tin mining activity. The results showed that the natural food for A. panchax was insects larvae or insects that fall on the surface of the waters. The food habits and terminal mouth type confirmed that A. panchax was surface feeder fish, carnivorous fish, larvivorous or insectivorous fish. The sagittiform body type was used A. panchax to did the strategy of feeding behavior by pursue or ambush their prey and it indicated that A. panchax as ambush predator

    FIRST RECORD OF THE INVASIVE NILE TILAPIA Oreochromis niloticus (PERCIFORMES: CICHLIDAE) IN BANGKA ISLAND, INDONESIA

    This study aims to report the presence of Tilapia Tilapia Oreochromis niloticus on Bangka Island (Indonesia) for the first time and update the invasion range of this species. Previously, this species had invaded various areas in Indonesia such as Sumatra, Java, and Sulawesi. The presence of Invasive Nila Tilapia can have a negative impact on aquatic biota through food competition, predation, and disease transmission. A total of 30 tilapia specimens were caught using Anco's fishing gear which was installed for 2 minutes consisting of mature and seeds, ranging in size from 20mm to 90mm in the Mang Kalok River, Rebo Village, Bangka Induk Regency, Bangka Island, Indonesia through a field expedition on June 11, 2023.     PENGARUH SUHU TERHADAP KELANGSUNGAN HIDUP, PERTUMBUHAN DAN TINGKAT KONSUMSI OKSIGEN IKAN SELUANG (Brevibora dorsiocellata) DI WADAH BUDIDAYA PADA TAHAP AWAL DOMESTIKASI

    Salah satu jenis ikan seluang yang banyak ditemukan di perairan Bangka Belitung yaitu Brevibora dorsiocellata. Ikan ini berpotensi untuk dikembangkan sebagai ikan salah satu ikan hias lokal. Budidaya ikan Seluang (B. dorsiocellata) saat ini masih belum banyak dilakukan dikarenakan terbatasnya informasi dalam kegiatan domestikasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengevaluasi dan menentukan kisaran suhu optimum untuk kelangsungan hidup, pertumbuhan dan tingkat konsumsi oksigen ikan Seluang (B. dorsiocellata) yang dipelihara pada suhu yang berbeda di wadah budidaya pada tahap awal domestikasi. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari sampai dengan Maret 2021 berlokasi di Laboratorium Akuakultur, di Universitas Bangka Belitung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode eksperimental dengan 4 perbedaan suhu yaitu Kontrol (suhu ruang), suhu 27oC, 29oC dan 31oC. Parameter yang diamati pada penelitian ini yaitu kelangsungan hidup ikan, laju pertumbuhan spesifik, laju pertumbuhan mutlak, efisiensi pakan, tingkat konsumsi oksigen dan kualitas air selain suhu sebagai data pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu berpengaruh berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan panjang mutlak ikan seluang selama pemeliharaan namun tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap laju pertumbuhan spesifik, panjang bobot mutlak dan efisiensi pakan. Suhu 31oC memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap pertumbuhan panjang mutlak sebesar 0,31±0,04 cm dibandingkan P1 (Kontrol), P2 (27oC), P3 (29oC) dengan nilai laju pertumbuhan spesifik 0,57±0,26% dan efisiensi pakan sebesar 2,77±1,17%. Suhu 27oC merupakan perlakuan dengan tingkat konsumsi oksigen terendah yakni sebesar 0,05 mg O2/menit. Sedangkan suhu 31oC merupakan perlakuan dengan tingkat konsumsi oksigen tertinggi sebesar 0,081 mg O2/menit. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kisaran suhu pemeliharaan untuk kelangsungan hidup dan pertumbuhan pada ikan Seluang (B. dorsiocellata) yaitu pada suhu 27-29oC dengan tingkat konsumsi oksigen yang normal

    POLICY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF CULTIVATED FISHERY COMMERCE IN THE PROVINCE OF THE BANGKA BELITUNG ISLANDS

    The trading system for aquaculture products is the process of distributing goods in the form of fish or derivative products from producers to final consumers effectively and efficiently. The objectives of this research are: 1) Analyzing aquaculture supply chain management in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province; and 2) Develop recommendations for the direction of development of the aquaculture trade system. This research method is a survey. The data sources in this research are primary and secondary data. The primary data collection method is qualitative, namely the researcher makes questionnaires, observations and interviews. Secondary data comes from production data from the Fisheries Service/BPS/pokdakan/regency/city companies in the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. Respondents in this study were informants at the District/City Fisheries Service, Pokdakan, and the shrimp farming industry (micro/small/medium/large scale). Data analysis is descriptive. The research results show that the grouper aquaculture supply chain is more efficient than the shrimp aquaculture supply chain, because it involves more companies from outside the Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The direction of development of the aquaculture trade system which refers to supply chain management has not yet implemented Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Regulation No. 5/Permen-KP/2014 concerning the National Fish Logistics System (SLIN). Understanding of the cold chain is still low. Then the problem at the collection and storage stage is the availability of facilities (cold storage) as well as the availability of basic infrastructure such as electricity, clean water and others, and the availability of facilities (unplug reefer)

    White pepper is a superior spice plant from the agricultural sector in Bangka Belitung Islands Province which is known in the world market as Muntok White Pepper with uniqueness that comes from Geographical Indications (GI). The high production of Muntok White Pepper in Bangka Belitung Islands Province does not provide benefit for farmers, because farmers have to pay for the procurement of large production inputs with a relatively short production time. This problem needs to be addressed by farmers through the application of sustainable farming system with Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) such as the live climbing pole using. The farmer's decision to change the dead climbing pole to the live climbing pole is influenced by several factors. The purpose of this research was to analyze the determinant of white pepper farmers’s decision on the live climbing pole using. This research was conducted in Air Gegas Sub-district, South Bangka District on August until December 2022. The data used on this research was secondary data collected through library research method. The results of this research indicate that the decision of white pepper farmers on the live climbing pole using is influenced by six factors, including age, level of formal education, farming experience, land area, land ownership status, and participation on agricultural group.Lada putih merupakan tanaman rempah unggulan dari sektor pertanian di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung yang dikenal di pasar dunia sebagai Muntok White Pepper dengan keunikan yang berasal dari Indikasi Geografis (IG). Produksi yang tinggi dari Muntok White Pepper tidak memberikan keuntungan bagi petani, karena petani harus mengeluarkan biaya untuk pengadaan input produksi yang besar dengan waktu produksi yang relatif singkat. Permasalahan ini perlu diatasi oleh petani melalui penerapan sistem pertanian berkelanjutan dengan Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) berupa penggunaan junjung hidup. Keputusan petani untuk mengganti penggunaan junjung mati ke junjung hidup dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis determinan keputusan petani lada putih terhadap penggunaan junjung hidup. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kecamatan Air Gegas, Kabupaten Bangka Selatan pada Agustus sampai Desember 2022. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah data sekunder yang dikumpulkan melalui metode studi pustaka. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keputusan petani lada putih terhadap penggunaan junjung hidup dipengaruhi oleh enam faktor, antara lain umur, tingkat pendidikan formal, pengalaman usaha tani, luas lahan, status kepemilikan lahan, dan partisipasi dalam kelompok tani

    The Effect of Lead (Pb) on the Growth of Two Pepper (Piper Nigrum l) Cultivar

    The pepper (Piper nigrum L.) a plantation crop that widely cultivated farmers in Indonesia, especially in Bangka Belitung Islands. One of the challenges of pepper cultivation in Bangka Belitung is the reduction in land conversion caused by tin mining. Tin mining causes high levels heavy metal content. The heavy metal lead (Pb) is element that can influence its growth. Pb are will become an inhibitor of enzyme formation which inhibits plant metabolism and effect growh of pepper. The aim of this research to determine the effect of giving Pb to both varieties and determine which varieties are adaptive in planting media containing Pb. This research was carried out April to July, at Bangka Belitung University. The method used was experiment and the design used was a randomized (RAKF). Treatment consists 2 factors. The first factor is  Petaling 1 cultivar and the Nyelungkup cultivar. The second factor, Pb concentration which consists of Pb concentration of 0 ppm, 100 ppm and 200 ppm. Data analysis used the F test (ANOVA) followed the Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The research results showed each cultivar did not have a real influence on the observed parameters. Aplication Pb concentrations 100 and 200 Ppm had effect on plant height, number of leaves, increasing number of shoots, leaf area and root length and root fresh weight.
