    Analisis Emosi Dasar pada Film Animasi 3D Ficusia dengan Metode Semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce

    Constructing basic emotions in the facial expressions of 3D characters is a complex and time-consuming process, yet it plays a vital role in non-verbal communication by enabling audiences to recognize emotions and understand character traits in animated films. This study aims to address the gap in analyzing how basic emotional signs are represented in animation to support more communicative character design. A descriptive qualitative approach was applied using Charles Sanders Peirce’s semiotic framework of trichotomy, which explores the relationship between sign, object, and interpretant in the facial expressions of the main character. The findings reveal that six basic emotions can be identified through iconic signs, where facial expressions represent specific emotional states, and their meanings are interpreted by the audience. These results demonstrate that Peirce’s semiotics offers an effective approach for analyzing emotional representation in 3D animation and contributes to the development of structured facial expression design strategies. Such strategies not only enhance non-verbal communication, but also strengthen emotional engagement and reinforce character identity in animated storytelling

    The COVID-19 pandemic has not only resulted in significant loss of life but has also caused a critical shortage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for healthcare workers. In response, the global community has leveraged 3D Printing technology to produce face shields. This study aims to analyze and evaluate the conformity of the dimensions of 3D-printed face shields with the head anthropometric measurements of the Indonesian population. Anthropometric data from three head segments (Head Length/D1, Head Breadth/D2, and Face Height/D3) were collected from 377 subjects. Three face shield models (PW1: low grade, PW2: medium grade, PW3: high grade) were manufactured using a 3D Printing machine. The analysis results indicate that the existing designs are not fully compatible with the percentile dimensions of the Indonesian population. Modifications to the frame and visor dimensions are required to better align with Indonesian anthropometric data. Additionally, adjustments in 3D Printing process parameters and improved product quality are essential to achieve a more ergonomic design.Pandemik COVID 19 selain mengakibatkan korban jiwa akibat terserang virus juga mengakibatkan kelangkaan alat pelindung diri bagi tenaga medis. Atas permasalahan tersebut beberapa instansi dan komunitas 3D Printing dari Seluruh dunia berinisiatif untuk memproduksi “Face Shield”/Alat Pelindung Wajah untuk mengatasi kelangkaan tersebut. Manfaat dari kajian ini adalah untuk menguji kesesuaian desain face shield dengan ukuran kepala orang Indonesia berdasarkan data Antropometri pada 3 Segmentasi Panjang Kepala (D1), Lebar Kepala (D2) dan Diameter Maksimum dari leher ke bagian kepala paling atas (D3). Data dikumpulkan dari 377 orang subjek pengukuran. Desain face shield yang diproduksi oleh mesin 3D printing terdiri dari 3 Model desain face shield (PW1) lower grade quality, (PW2) medium grade quality dan (PW3) high grade quality.     Welding is a method of connecting metal that involves melting a portion of the parent and filler metals until they are liquid enough to fuse. Nowadays, welding is becoming more and more common, particularly in the oil and gas sector. Combining GTAW with SMAW techniques is one of them. Because it can create robust and corrosion-resistant joints, the oil and gas industry frequently uses the combination of GTAW and SMAW welding techniques. The welding procedure on ASTM A694/F65 material covered with Inconel 625 will be covered in this study. While Inconel 625 is resistant to corrosion and stress cracking, A694/F65 steel will offer toughness for applications with low temperature field circumstances. The benefits of the various welding techniques are strategically integrated by this combination of welding procedures. While SMAW delivers great mechanical strength and filling efficiency for the fill to cap weld portions, GTAW will offer superior penetration and surface cleanliness on the root weld. The results of the tests, which included visual inspection, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), and Ultrasonic Testing (UT), demonstrated that no evidence of serious flaws exceeding the acceptance criteria of the cited standards AWS D1.1:2025 for MPI and ASME Section VIII Div. 1 Appendix 12 for UT was discovered. It is anticipated that the study will serve as a guide for the welding procedure on gas and oil pipes.Abstrak Metode kombinasi Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) dan Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) banyak diterapkan dalam industri migas karena mampu menghasilkan sambungan yang kuat dan tahan korosi. Penelitian ini membahas proses pengelasan pada material ASTM A694 F65 yang dioverlay dengan Inconel 625. Baja paduan rendah A694 F65 menawarkan ketangguhan pada suhu rendah, sedangkan Inconel 625 memiliki ketahanan unggul terhadap korosi dan retak akibat tegangan. Pengujian kualitas dilakukan menggunakan inspeksi visual, Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), dan Ultrasonic Testing (UT). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kombinasi metode GTAW-SMAW dapat menghasilkan pengelasan yang sesuai dengan standar industri migas.     Pembuatan sistem informasi manajemen aset yang dapat menunjukkan bagaimana seluruh aset dikelola merupakan tujuan dari penelitian ini. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh PT Feen Marine yang memerlukan suatu sistem informasi yang dapat menyampaikan informasi aset dengan cepat dan tepat. Hal ini disebabkan oleh tidak efisiennya penggunaan Microsoft Excel secara manual dalam memberikan informasi aset. Organisasi juga dapat menangani informasi aset penelitian dengan lebih mudah dengan penggunaan sistem informasi ini. Berdasarkan grafik peringkat persentil SUS, sistem informasi manajemen aset responden memperoleh nilai evaluasi akhir sebesar 81 termasuk nilai A sehingga konsumen dapat menggunakannya dengan mudah. agar pengguna dapat memperoleh layanan informasi yang diperlukan dengan mudah.Penciptaan sistem informasi manajemen aset yang dapat menunjukkan bagaimana semua aset yang dikelola adalah tujuan dari penelitian ini. Latar Belakang Latar belakang dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa PT Feen Marine membutuhkan sistem informasi yang dapat menyampaikan aset informasi secara cepat dan tepat.     Transportation and food delivery services are one of the driving sectors of the digital economy in Indonesia. The e-Conomy SEA 2023 report shows that the transportation and food delivery services sector experienced a decrease in GMV in 2023 by 8% from the previous year. The decline in GMV indicates a decrease in transaction value in the transportation and food delivery service sector. GoPartner is an application developed by GoTo to assist driver partners in carrying out various services in the gojek application which is one of the applications engaged in the transportation sector and food delivery services. Drivers as people who provide services directly to consumers are certainly one of the factors that influence customer behavior in using services. To find out the problems faced by drivers, this research conducts knowledge discovery through topic modeling on GoPartner application reviews using BERTopic, LDA, and NMF, each of these methods has a different approach.     Energy Efficiency and Time Management through IoT-Based Automated Electrical Control System and Digital Prayer Schedule Integration

    This study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based automated electrical control system integrated with a digital prayer schedule to enhance energy efficiency and time management in mosques. Using IoT devices, electronic equipment such as air conditioners, lights, and loudspeakers can be automatically controlled according to prayer times, reducing energy waste and minimizing fire risks due to negligence in operating electrical devices. The study employs a prototyping method, where a system prototype is tested to evaluate its performance and effectiveness. A machine-to-machine bridge communication model is implemented to integrate the digital prayer schedule with mosque electrical devices. The research results are expected to provide an environmentally friendly technological solution while improving mosque operational efficiency. However, technical challenges, such as integrating the system with older electrical infrastructure, limited internet connectivity, and user readiness to operate new technology, must be addressed.     Development of YOLO-Based Mobile Application for Detection of Defect Types in Robusta Coffee Beans

    Improving the quality of Robusta coffee beans is a crucial challenge in the coffee industry to ensure that consumers receive high-quality products. However, the identification of defects in coffee beans is still largely performed manually, making the process error-prone and time-consuming. This study aims to develop a YOLO-based mobile application to detect defects in Robusta coffee beans quickly and accurately. The method employed in this study is YOLO, a deep learning-based object detection algorithm known for its real-time object detection capabilities. The application was tested using a dataset of Robusta coffee beans containing various defects, such as broken, black, and wrinkled beans. The test results indicate that the application achieves high detection accuracy, with the black bean class achieving 95.3% accuracy, while the moldy or bleached bean class records the lowest accuracy at 62.2%. This application is expected to assist farmers and coffee industry stakeholders in improving the quality of Robusta coffee beans and enhancing the efficiency of the sorting process

    Rancang Bangun Pompa Hidram Untuk Menaikan Air Dari Sumber Mata Air Ke Perkebunan Penduduk

    The hydram pump has been designed and manufactured to help people who lack water on plantation land. Hydraulic pumps are an appropriate technology in the field of pumping that use water momentum (water hammer) to raise the pumped water. The design and manufacture of hydram pumps aims to raise water from springs to residents\u27 plantations. The specifications for making a hydram pump are 2 inches for the pump body, 3 inches for the pump air tube, with 3 valves (2 exhaust valves and 1 delivery valve). The results of test 1 at an output height (h) of 1m produced a pump output discharge of 3.12x10-4m3/s, a discharge at the exhaust valve of 7.52x10-4m3/s, and an efficiency of 19.59%. Test 2 at an output height (h) of 2.5m produced a pump output discharge of 2.08x10-4m3/s, a discharge at the exhaust valve of 7.27x10-4m3/s, and an efficiency of 36.96%. Then test 3 at an output height (h) of 5m produced a pump output discharge of 1.08x10-4m3/s, a discharge at the exhaust valve of 7.16x10-4m3/s, and an efficiency of 43.66%. The test results show that the higher the h output, the smaller the water discharge coming out of the hydram pump, and the greater the efficiency of the hydram pump.Rancang bangun pompa hidram untuk membantu masyarakat yang kekurangan air di lahan perkebunan telah selesai dibuat. Pompa hidram merupakan teknologi tepat guna dalam bidang pemompaan dengan menggunakan tenaga momentum air (water hammer) untuk menaikkan air yang di pompa. Perancangan dan pembuatan pompa hidram bertujuan untuk menaikan air dari sumber mata air ke perkebunan penduduk. Spesifikasi pembuatan pompa hidram yang dibuat berukuran 2 inchi untuk badan pompa, 3 inchi untuk tabung udara pompa, dengan 3 katup (2 katup buang dan 1 katup penghantar). Hasil pengujian 1 pada ketinggian (h) output 1m menghasilkan debit keluaran pompa 3,12x10-4m3/s, debit pada katup buang 7,52x10-4m3/s, dan efisiensi 19,59%. Pengujian 2 pada ketinggian (h) output 2,5m menghasilkan debit keluaran pompa 2,08x10-4m3/s, debit pada katup buang 7,27x10-4m3/s, dan efisiensi 36,96%. Kemudian pengujian 3 pada ketinggian (h) output 5m menghasilkan debit keluaran pompa 1,08x10-4m3/s, debit pada katup buang 7,16x10-4m3/s, dan efisiensi 43,66%. Dari hasil pengujian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi h output maka semakin kecil debit air keluar pompa hidram, dan semakin besar efisiensi pompa hidram

    Evaluasi Sistem HVAC dan Pencahayaan Berdasarkan Lingkungan Dengan Metode Komparatif Terhadap Standarisasi SNI Di Gedung Teknik Elektro Universitas Malikussaleh

    This study aims to evaluate the performance of the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system and lighting at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering building, Universitas Malikussaleh, based on environmental factors and compliance with Indonesian National Standards (SNI). This evaluation is essential to ensure comfort, energy efficiency, and the suitability of the learning and working environment at Universitas Malikussaleh. Measurements include temperature, humidity, and light intensity in several rooms. The study results indicate that the temperature in all rooms is within the SNI standard range (22°C to 29°C) but tends to be close to the upper limit, with the highest temperature reaching 30°C in room FT.04.03.05 and the lowest at 26,9°C in the Head of Department\u27s Office. Relative humidity exceeds the SNI standard (40% to 60%), with the highest humidity at 73% in Classroom  FT.04.02.05 and the lowest at 63,2% in Meeting Rooms 1, 2, and 3. Light intensity in several rooms, especially classrooms and laboratories, does not meet the standards. This study concludes that although the temperature is relatively within the standard, both humidity and light intensity need to be improved to meet SNI standards.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja sistem HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) dan pencahayaan di Gedung Teknik Elektro Universitas Malikussaleh berdasarkan faktor lingkungan dan kesesuaian dengan Standar Nasional Indonesia (SNI). Pengukuran meliputi suhu, kelembapan, dan intensitas cahaya di beberapa ruangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suhu di seluruh ruangan berada dalam rentang standar SNI (22°C hingga 29°C), tetapi cenderung mendekati batas atas, dengan suhu tertinggi mencapai 30°C di ruang FT.04.03.05 dan terendah 26,9°C di Ruang Kajur. Kelembapan relatif melebihi standar SNI (40% hingga 60%), dengan kelembapan tertinggi 73% di Ruang Kelas FT.04.02.05 dan terendah 63,2% di Ruang Sidang 1, 2, dan 3. Intensitas cahaya di beberapa ruangan, terutama ruang kelas dan laboratorium, tidak memenuhi standar. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa meskipun suhu relatif sesuai standar, kelembapan dan intensitas cahaya perlu ditingkatkan agar sesuai dengan standar SNI

    Intelligent Web-Based Application for Personalized Obesity Management

    Obesity is a serious global problem due to its association with various chronic diseases. This study explores the utilization of machine learning in particular deep learning technology to predict Body Mass Index (BMI) from individual photos to create an efficient solution for assessing obesity. Using the ResNet152 model and K-Fold Cross Validation, this application integrates filters on individual photos to improve prediction accuracy. The application was developed using React JS for the front end, PHP and MySQL for the backend and database management, and Python as the core of the machine learning system. The application that tested using blackbox method, to see all features is functioning and the web application prototipe is passed all the test scenario
