Today, UAMS is comprised of a central campus that houses the Medical Center, Outpatient Center, the colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Health Professions, and Public Health, a Graduate School, and various institutes and clinics. UAMS also operates facilities elsewhere in the city and the state as a whole

    Photograph of an architectural model of a preliminary design for the Fine Arts Center at the University of Arkansas, circa 1950.This model represents an initial concept of project. The design continued to evolve before construction was complete. The most significant difference between this model and the built structure is the design of the Sculpture Court. The built version of the courtyard was much simpler and featured a rectilinear fish pond
