Instagram Influencers Credibility Dimensions and Purchase Intention of Followers: Empirical Evidence
Get PDFThe advent of SMIs has primarily altered the means business connect with their prospects and customers. Currently, many SNSs enables SMIs to endorse the products, share opinions, provide feedback, and communicate with their followers either publicly or privately. This research aims to determine the mediating effect of loyalty of followers towards the influencer and ascribed opinion leadership on SMIs dimensions (expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness) and purchase intention relationship from the perspective of Instagram users in India. To measure the objective, the study acquired responses from 250 Indian Instagram users in the age group of 18-24. Results indicated that the purchase intention of followers is positively influenced by expertise, trustworthiness, ascribed opinion leadership, and loyalty of followers towards the influencer dimensions. Here, ascribed opinion leadership and loyalty of followers towards the influencer acts as an effective arbitrator between SMIs dimensions (expertise, trustworthiness, and attractiveness) and purchase intention relationship. The study suggests that before engaging SMI to promote the brand, the companies should understand the perception of followers towards the influencer in terms of expertise, attractiveness, and trustworthiness dimensions

Through a rigorous statistical methodology, critical variables—namely, flexibility, cost control, and service quality and delivery—were discerned as cardinal elements in efficacious management within this domain.The constructed model demonstrated formidable statistical validity, solidifying its utility as a potent instrument for both evaluation and strategic guidance within the aviation milieu. The relative weights ascribed to each variable shed light on their hierarchical significance, furnishing actionable insights for organizations in their quest for operational enhancement. For the rigorous scrutiny and validation of such statistical models, a repertoire of goodness-of-fit indices is paramount. To this end, the current study leveraged a myriad of indices including the Comparative Fit Index (CFI), Goodness of Fit Index (GFI), Adjusted Goodness of Fit Index (AGFI), Root Mean Square Error of Approximation (RMSEA), Normed Fit Index (NFI), Incremental Fit Index (IFI), and Root Mean Square Residual (RMR).Nonetheless, it is prudent to recognize the potential variances in the weightages and salience of these variables across diverse organizational landscapes and contexts. This underscores the necessity for bespoke adaptations to cater to unique organizational exigencies. The Effect of Health Communication on Reader Attitudes with Digital Media Literacy Antecedents
Get PDFThe Coronavirus pandemic in Indonesia is increasing daily. Unfortunately, the implementation of lockdown is not enforced in some areas. Meanwhile, in these current pandemic conditions, health communication is needed. This research describes health communication concepts, readers’ attitudes, and digital media literacy. Furthermore, the digital media literacy antecedent focuses on understanding attitudes in handling hoax information and people infected with Coronavirus. A quantitative approach with the forecasting method was used in this research. It showed that Health Communication has a linear regression value of 0.49 with a significance of 0.000 on the reader's attitude variables. There is an influence between health communications on the reader's attitudes. Likewise, digital media has a regression result of 0.51 with a significant value of 0.000 on reader's attitudes indicating that digital media influences reader's attitudes. Subsequently, developing digital media literacy and reader attitudes in health communication is important. It is hoped that future research will be able to elaborate on health communication and digital media literacy in the wider community and use adapted methods

This article attempts to deal with the problem of genre classification and how this genre category needs to be understood without being completely ignored. A genre label is not seen here as a final verdict about what the text should be or a cage within which a piece of literature is once and for all locked. Rather, it tries to look at the genre label as that which highlights a function of the text thereby reiterating the fact that a work of literature stands beyond the genre categorisation. With a focus on the societal demands placed on the female body, this study aims to focus on how much society intrudes into a person's private life. The article also offers a thorough examination using the novel One Part Woman (2018) and the movie Matrubhoomi: A Nation Without Women (2003) of how the objectification of women has entered our culture and become embedded in our way of thinking, causing us to view the female body as an inanimate object that must adhere to predefined gender stereotypes. It investigates how infertility is linked with the curse and performance of rituals takes place. Infertility is no longer viewed as a problem owing to advances in biotechnology, which have been particularly focused on the reproductive area. However, cultural customs and beliefs disregard the medical approach, while many harsh rituals are conducted in the hope of causing fertility. The research paper focuses on how cultural behaviours and rituals prevent women from using a medical anthropology perspective. The Reconstruction Logic and Institutional Realization of the Substantiation of Court Hearings in China's Commutation of Sentence and Parole Cases
Get PDFThe manuscript discusses the importance of sentence commutation and parole cases as an essential stage in the execution of criminal judgments, related to both judicial justice and trial authority. To clarify this issue, this article mainly adopts a literature research method to systematically review the research on China's establishment of parole and commutation since its inception, and uses case studies to provide examples to illustrate the existing situations.The author argues that substantive hearings for these cases can remove the issue of "paper-pushing" and strengthen procedural justice, transparency, and judicial justice. The manuscript suggests that the current "tripartite" linear model for parole hearings should be transitioned to a deliberative mode with statements from both prosecution and defense to achieve a substantive hearing. The author proposes that the "tripartite trial structure" reform should be the starting point for reconsidering the legal identity and rights of the participating subjects and their responsibilities
Assessing Instagram Addiction and Social Media Dependency among Young Adults in Karnataka
Get PDFThis research paper investigates the extent and seriousness of Instagram addiction and social media dependency among young adults in Karnataka, India. The study utilized a cross-sectional survey design and collected data from 511 participants aged 18 to 25 years. To assess social media addiction and Instagram addiction, the researchers employed the Social Media Dependency Scale (SMDS) and The Instagram Addiction Scale (TIAS) respectively. Data analysis involved frequency and percentage analysis, cross-tabulation, Independent sample t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation analysis. The results revealed that a majority of participants demonstrated moderate to high levels of social media dependency and Instagram addiction. Furthermore, the study found variations in social media dependency and Instagram addiction based on factors such as gender, region, and locality of residence. It was also discovered that Instagram addiction showed a significant positive correlation with social media dependency. These findings emphasize the necessity for targeted interventions to address social media addiction and its impact on the mental health and overall well-being of young adults in Karnataka
The Stigmatization of Trauma: A Reflection on Mahesh Dattani's Select Works
Get PDFTrauma is a response to an experience that devastates a person mentally. It frequently causes shock, denial, and changes in the body, mind, and behavior. People witness difficult circumstances and long-lasting repercussions on their psychological and physical well-being due to trauma. The chosen plays Tara and 30 Days in September are examined using trauma theory. The traumatic stigma of victimized characters and their offenders are explored and brought to light in the present study. The paper maps out the common aspects of trauma in Mahesh Dattani's plays and creates a portal for scholarly reflections on the author's ideology of trauma. It attempts to explore the reason behind the abnormal behavior of the characters and argues that childhood plays a major role in shaping the behavioral attributes of the adults. The researcher has made thematic analysis on the select plays through attentive reading. The study aims to develop an in-depth understanding on the effects of post-traumatic stress disorder on the characters taken for study and the possible ways to liberate from traumatic disorder. It strives to cease the stigmatization of trauma and emphasizes the fact that proper counseling, care and support will help the trauma affected characters to recover from the disorder
