Exploring the Status Quo of All-for-one Tourism Development in Meishan City, China: Insights from Local Travel Influencers
All-for-one tourism is a newly proposed concept that aims to promote the transformation of national tourism development in China. Few research studies have focused on the current industry practice of all-for-one tourism in China. A qualitative case study, grounded in an interpretivist paradigm, was conducted to investigate the status quo of all-for-one tourism development in Meishan City, China. In-depth interviews were conducted with 15 local travel influencers based on opinion leadership theory. Thematic content analysis was utilized to analyze study data. Study findings revealed that implementing all-for-one tourism was limited by the lack of a clear tourism strategy, uncoordinated development, and low-quality public services. But efforts had been made to support all-for-one tourism in the public service system, tourism supply chain, tourism market order, destination brand strategy, and marketing effectiveness

Key Determinants of Instagram Usage Among Malaysian Public University Students: An Extended Technology Acceptance Model
This research seeks to investigate the influencing factors affecting students’ intention of Instagram usage in Universiti Putra Malaysia. Drawn on the theoretical framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), social influence and self-efficacy were additionally incorporated to extend the TAM. A total of 373 online questionnaires were distributed to the targeted respondents. The PLS-SEM was applied for data analysis and the outcome shows that behavioral intention was positively anticipated by perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, and social influence, while behavioral intention significantly impacts actual use. Meanwhile, the moderating effect of self-efficacy was found insignificant. The current study brings about empirical evidence in terms of the predictors anticipating students’ intention to use Instagram as an interactive platform by extending the TAM model. The outcome of the paper can serve as guidance for service providers in improving Instagram in the future
Political Communication in Social Media: A Bibliometrics Analysis
This study aims to explain the development of research on political communication in social media indexed by Scopus from 2013 to 2023. The scoping review method is employed in this investigation. The main finding of this study is that there has been little growth in the number of publications for research on political communication on social media over the past ten years that Scopus has indexed. This has an inverse relationship with the importance of social media in politics today. Additionally, all nations that contribute the most to the publication of research on this subject hold elections as part of their democratic systems. Further, politics, communication, campaigns, and social media are four crucial topic components for studying political communication in social media. Likewise, in terms of narratives, political communication by political actors in the social media aims to launch the dissemination of information to the public to increase electoral engagement. Then, Facebook has become the most used social media lately in political communication by politicians and political parties in a democratic country. Although this social media is not so popular among young people, it is still loved by many elderly voters who are new to the internet
The Impact of the Digital Era on Spanish-Speaking Social Audiences: A Systematic Review of Its Academic Literature
We are currently witnessing a paradigm shift in digital communication, determined by platformization. Digital channels have abandoned any unidirectional pretension to become interactive and bidirectional channels. Through a systematic literature review, this research aims to obtain a clear, complete, and updated definition of the concept of "social audience". The results point to an increase in the incidence of terms such as participation, participatory audience, and social networks, without specifically alluding to the concept of social audience, allowing evidence of a lack of consensus in terminology and the approach to the role of audiences in the current digital context. The lack of consensus leaves open considerations and debates on the study of cyber activism, as well as public opinion and influencers, for example
Influence of Disability-Inclusive Advertising on Behavioral Intention - An Intergenerational Analysis
In recent years, although inclusive advertising has emerged as a vital focus for global brands, the representation of individuals with disabilities has predominantly been viewed through an ableist lens. The main purpose of this study is to examine the influence of disability-inclusive advertising on the behavioural intentions of Generations X and Z in relation to social inclusion. Based on the theory of planned behavior (TPB), we investigated intergenerational attitudes, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, self-schemas, anticipated regret felt (moderators), and behavioral intention towards a disability-inclusive advertisement as the stimulus using a sample of 270 respondents recruited using stratified convenience sampling. While the study revealed impartiality of attitudes and subjective norms regarding disability inclusion, perceived behavioral control was affirmative and notably more robust in Generation X as compared to Generation Z. The analysis reveals positive behavioural intentions to promote social inclusion for individuals with disabilities. This study provides important contributions to marketing and sociology by highlighting the crucial role of inclusive advertising in fostering favorable behavioral intentions among targeted audiences. This unique study, represents initial investigation into inclusive advertising within the Indian context, with a specific emphasis on its capacity to foster a favourable socio-psychological change within two prominent societal groups
Inclusion Needs Through the Lens of Intersectionality: Evidence supporting The 8-Inclusion Needs of All People Framework
This paper makes a substantial contribution to the fields of inclusion and intersectionality. It addresses the recognized gap in applying intersectionality as a practical framework for creating inclusive environments for all identities and intersectionalities. Drawing upon existing consensus among researchers on the importance of intersectionality, the study conducted in 2023 employs a robust qualitative methodology involving narrative interviews with 22 participants living in the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom and representing diverse identities and intersectionalities to understand their identities, lived-experience and inclusion needs to thrive in work and life. Thematic analysis of participant responses resulted in support of all inclusion needs proposed in Wilson’s (2023) 8-Inclusion Needs of All People framework; Access, Space, Opportunity, Allowance, Representation, Language, Respect, and Support. Consequently, this research paper provides empirical evidence on the applicability of the 8-Inclusion Needs of All People framework, as proposed by Wilson (2023), in addressing multifaceted inclusion needs through the lens of intersectionality to prevent discrimination and promote equity and equal outcomes for all people. Further, as underscored by the participant's insights, it is essential to pivot from conventional approaches that endeavour to assimilate individual identities into pre-existing structures towards a more progressive stance that actively create inclusive organizations to embrace the diverse tapestry and inclusion needs of all people and their intersectionalities
An Assessment of the Partition and Scramble of Africa and the Effect of Slave Trade in the Continent
The scramble and Partition of African countries began in earnest with the Berlin Conference of 1884-1885, and this was the cause of the most of Africa’s borders today. The conference was called by German Chancellor Bismarck to settle how European countries would claim colonial land in Africa and to avoid a war among European nations over African territory. All the major European States were invited to the conference which includes the Germany, France, Great Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, Portugal, and Spain were all considered to have a future role in the imperial partition of Africa. The United States was invited because of its interest in Liberia but did not attend the conference because it had no desire to build a colonial empire in Africa. Also invited were Austria–Hungary, Sweden–Norway, Denmark, Italy, Turkey, and Russia who all were considered minor players in the quest for colonizing Africa, though Italy has claim some colonial possessions in Northeast Africa. Most notably there were no Africans present at that conference, nor were any Europeans present to ensure that native Africans had any say in the proceedings. This paper has adopted secondary source of data in the process of data collection. The findings of the paper have revealed that partition in Africa has led to emergence of colonialism, slave trade and other related contemporary imbalance that led to for present African underdevelopment. The paper recommended that African countries needs to be allowed to run its affairs as an independent sovereign countries to manage both their mineral and human resource to compete with every continent of the world interterms of development dynamism and African countries should develop an approach that will help them to fight social menace of poverty, corruption, insecurity and unemployment
