Abstract 
The Internet, including the Web and Social Networking Services, plays a major role in tourism, and 
images of tourist destinations on the Internet have a significant impact on tourists and people 
considering visiting. Images displayed by keywords in a Web search can be a tourist's first 
impression of the area. In this study, we investigated visualization methods for hue, brightness  
scatter, and density information from tourism-related images in several municipalities in Iwate 
Prefecture and visualized the color conditions of the regions. The visualization revealed that there 
are differences among the regions, which could be used for effective information dissemination in
