No full textThis talk explores three groundbreaking research studies on psychological and social programs for improving mental health and wellbeing of older adults. One study is focussed on a novel program for introducing psychological treatment to older adults on in-home care packages. Another study examines the impact of befriending on reducing depressive and anxiety symptoms in residential aged care. A third study examines the effect of cognitive behaviour therapy on reducing depressive symptoms, anxiety symptoms and suicidal ideation in residential aged care
