    The Documentary and Non-Fiction Nexus event took place on the 11th June 2025 at Swinburne University of Technology, Sarawak Campus. Next to three fantastic keynote presentations and screenings by Poh Leong Koh (Sarawak, Malaysia) Helen De Michiel (California, USA) and Denby Weller (Melbourne, Australia), two great roundtables, chaired by Professor Kusuma Krishna (India) and Ts. Augustus Raymond Segar (Sarawak, Malaysia), as well as Dr Carolyn Beasley, which discussed Creative Practice Research in the proximity of the Eastern and Southern Hemispheres, the event included a show and tell of Documentary VR experiences by Agnieszka Kiejziewicz (Kênh Tẻ memory preservation and community storytelling practices) Ts.
