A MICROCONTROLLER-DRIVEN ENTRANCE GATE TO COMBAT RESPIRATORY VIRUS SPREAD
Get PDFRespiratory illnesses, including COVID-19, continue to be a significant public health concern worldwide. In this regard, public health organizations provide preventative measures, such as wearing masks, and practicing good hand hygiene, to help control the spread of respiratory illnesses. However, existing preventive measures may not be fully effective in ensuring compliance, especially in dispersed economic conditions, leading to continued risks of respiratory virus spread in public spaces. To address this challenge, this study proposes a microcontroller-driven system designed to monitor and regulate entry into public spaces, aiming to reduce the transmission of respiratory illnesses. The system employs a camera, a temperature sensor and an ultrasonic sensor to detect face mask usage, measure body temperature, and track the distance of hands from the sensor for automatic handwashing. Using deep learning method to measure accuracy rates of 0.90, 0.89, 0.89, and 0.89 for detecting face masks, precision, recall, and F1 score, respectively, and an accuracy of 99.18% in measuring body temperature. The system has the potential to enhance public safety significantly. The automatic door opening feature, triggered only when a person is wearing a mask, has an average body temperature, and has washed their hands automatically, adds to the system's efficacy. The system's ability to detect and respond to non-compliance with safety measures can help promote adherence to public health guidelines and reduce the risk of infection. This study's findings demonstrate the developed system's high potential to contribute to public safety in the era of respiratory viruses
SENTIMENT ANALYSIS ON REVIEWS OF WOMEN'S TOPS ON SHOPEE MARKETPLACE USING NAIVE BAYES ALGORITHM
Get PDFReviews of women's tops in the market are valuable information if processed properly. Merchants can conduct product review analysis to obtain information that can be used to evaluate products and services. Product review analysis activities are not enough just to see the number of stars, it is necessary to see the entire content of the review comments to be able to know the intent of the review. Sentiment analysis system is a system used to automatically analyze online product reviews to obtain information including sentiment information that is part of online reviews. The data is classified using Naive Bayes. The data collected were 1,000 product reviews of women's tops as samples. The purpose of this study is to determine the sentiment analysis of female top product reviews using the Naive Bayes algorithm. The stages of this research include data collection, labeling, pre-processing, sentiment classification, and evaluation. In the pre-processing stage there are 6 stages, namely Cleaning emoticons & symbols, Case folding, Word Normalizer, Tokenize, Stopword Removal and Stemming. TF-IDF (Term Frequency - Inverse Document Frequency) method is used for word weighting. The data will be classified into 3 (three) classes, namely negative, positive and neutral. The data will then be evaluated using accuracy parameter testing. The test results show an accuracy value of 89%, this result shows that the product reviews of women's tops are more positive
CLASSIFICATION OF CORN PLANT DISEASES USING VARIOUS CONVOLUTIONAL NEURAL NETWORK
Get PDFBased on data from the East Java Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) in 2020, corn production in 2019 decreased by 622,403 tons. The decrease in production was caused by a disease that attacked corn plants identified from the corn leaves' physical appearance. This study aims to obtain an architectural model with good performance between AlexNet, LeNet, and MobileNet in detecting diseases of maize plants. The dataset used in this study came from Kaggle, with 4188 images divided into four disease classes: Common Rust, Gray Leaf Spot, Blight, and Healthy. Agricultural experts from Bantul have confirmed the appearance of each class of corn plant diseases. The preprocessing process is carried out to prepare the data so that the amount of data for each class is balanced. The image data used in this study totaled 4000 images which were divided into training data and testing data with a ratio of 80:20. Based on the experimental results, it was found that the MobileNet architecture has better performance than AlexNet and LeNet with an accuracy value of 83.37%, average precision of 0.8337, and g-mean of 0.8298. ANALYSIS OF EFFECTS OF APP PERMISSION CONCERNS ON INTENTIONS TO DISCLOSE PERSONAL INFORMATION: A CASE STUDY OF MONEY TRANSFER SERVICE APP
Get PDFData growth increased alongside the rise of mobile app users in financial services. In Indonesia, the number of financial services application downloads reached 24 million by the end of 2022, with a 28.72 percent increase in transactions. However, this growth also brings issues regarding the potential misuse of personal information, although according to the Personal Data Protection Act (UU PDP) in Indonesia, personal data is protected and kept confidential when accessed by another party. This prompts users to be more cautious in disclosing personal information. On the other hand, users are faced with risks to personal data that can be accessed by service providers, one of which is through app permissions. This research focuses on the influence of App Permission Concerns on users' intentions to disclose their personal information, with a case study of a money transfer services app in Indonesia, namely Flip, that received numerous negative reviews about users' data privacy concerns, especially when verifying using an identity card. The study uses a quantitative approach with PLS-SEM for data analysis. Convenience sampling was used, and data were collected via a questionnaire distributed through Google Forms on social media from May 9 to May 21, 2023 and a total of 224 respondents were obtained. The results of this study indicate that App Permission Concerns have a significant influence on Privacy Fatigue, Privacy Awareness, Privacy Concern and Trust. Trust significantly influences Intention to Disclose. This research is expected to contribute to future studies on app permissions and mobile app feature development
THE FUNCTION OF SOCIAL MEDIA AS A SUPPORTING TOOL FOR LECTURER CAREER DEVELOPMENT IN UNIVERSITIES IN THE INDUSTRY 4.0 ERA

One of the efforts to support these duties in the Industry 4.0 era is the use of social media to develop professors' careers. A lack of understanding of the role of social media sometimes only sees the dark side of social media, which is actually very useful in developing lecturers' careers. This study uses a qualitative research method with a narrative research design. The subjects of this study were 92 individuals identified through purposive sampling technique. Data collection was done through an online survey. Data analysis in this study used coding techniques consisting of open coding, axial coding and selective coding stages. The findings of this study show that social media is a professional development tool for teachers and can enhance professional competence, which can contribute to teachers' professional development. Get PDFAbstract—The role of the hospital is very helpful in efforts to improve the quality of public health, for this reason the need for fast and appropriate services so that human resources are maintained for their survival. At dr. Hospital Hendrikus Fernandez Larantuka East Nusa Tenggara, the registration service still uses the intranet system or local network and system errors often occur so that the patient registration process is hampered. In addition, the system created on the intranet network also has drawbacks, one of which is that it can only be accessed by people who are connected to the building's network. With these problems, there is a need for a mobile-based application that can be accessed directly by the public in real time from anywhere and any time. The purpose of this study is to create a mobile-based application design that is capable of processing inpatient registration services at hospitals with an attractive and user-friendly appearance. The method used in this study is the prototyping method. This method is a software development model by creating a prototype or model to provide an overview to the user by going through 5 stages, namely communications, quick plan, quick design model, prototype construct, and development delivery and feedback. The tool used in making this prototype is the Figma application. The results of this study are that there is an application prototype that can be used as reference material for RSUD dr. Hendrikus Fernandez Larantuka, East Nusa Tenggara, in developing his system so that the inpatient registration process can be carried out by the community anytime and anywhere. METODE VECTOR SPACE MODEL UNTUK WEB SCRAPING PADA WEBSITE FREELANCE
Get PDFAbstract— In digitalization era, internet is at the center of all lines of community activity, just like the field of work. Currently, many platforms provide job vacancies, especially for freelancers. To obtain this information, users usually need to open several websites to find information about suitable job vacancies. Web scraping offers solution to overcome these problems. Based on research that has been done, the BeautifulSoup and Selenium libraries will be used to collect data. To search for data, vector space model method is used to find the level of data similarity between the query and the document. In exploring data, the average near-perfect recall value is 98%, while the average precision value is 56%. This is because data search uses three parameters, so the possibility of retrieving irrelevant data is more significant if the document contains a word in the user's query, even though the context does not match. Utilizing the Streamlit framework in Python can display the data processing results and help users navigate the web scraping process, data processing, and data search. This study aims to implement the web scraping method to retrieve data from freelance websites: Freelance, Project, and Sribulancer. By applying the vector space model method, users can search data from several websites without opening freelance websites one by one. This article was written to outline alternative marketing strategies in facing intense competition in the culinary industry by taking the example of the satay karak stall at the Sunan Ampel Tomb religious tourism in Surabaya. Researchers try to analyze using a qualitative approach method using literature studies obtained from various books, articles, journals and online news. This results in the right marketing strategy for Sate Karak involving several important aspects such as the marketing mix, identifying target markets, collaboration with business actors, and culinary participation in special events.Kuliner tradisional tidak hanya menjadi cenderamata yang menghiasai destinasi wisata, tetapi juga berpengaruh pada citra dan daya tarik wisatawan terhadap suatu lokasi wisata. Implementation of Smarter Method for Prospective Student Council Selection System SMK Negeri 1 Rembang
Get PDFOne of the schools that has attempted to make the student council active and the primary platform for student development to encourage student activities at school is SMK Negeri 1 Rembang. OSIS administrators can execute numerous labor programs in both academic and non-academic domains. Participants must pass several selection processes to join the SMK Negeri 1 Rembang OSIS board. This student council board's election procedure still employs manual methods. The selection procedure may take longer and allow for subjective evaluations depending on the number of candidates and the criteria used. As a result, it is essential to develop a decision support system (SPK) that uses Rank Order Centroid (ROC) weighting and the Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique Exploiting Rank (SMARTER) method to help choose student council administrators. The SMARTER technique addressed disproportionality because the weights assigned do not provide a hierarchy or order of importance between the current criteria and their sub-criteria. Based on the computation of the final value of the standards and sub-criteria on each alternative, the system produces results in the form of the biggest to most minor order. Blackbox testing of this program demonstrates that it can operate and be used at SMK N 1 Rembang both in terms of functionality and outcomes from the system.
 
PENGARUH PROSES REKRUTMEN DAN SELEKSI TERHADAP KINERJA KARYAWAN MENGGUNAKAN REGRESI LINIER BERGANDA
Get PDFKOPPOSINDO (Indonesian Postal Employees Cooperative) One of the functions of the service sector in Central Jakarta City is supervising the management of reserve and credit funds, as well as administering KBM rentals. The aim of this research is to determine the extent to which the recruitment process affects the productivity of KOPPOSINDO (Indonesian Postal Employees Cooperative) workers. Distributing questionnaires is the main method of data collection in this research. A total of 37 respondents were included in this research sample. This research uses a quantitative approach with sampling using saturated sampling. IBM SPSS version 25 was used for this test. In addition to the assumptions of validity, reliability, normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity, multiple regression, t test, F test, and R-squared test were applied to the findings. The results of this research indicate that the attitude variable has a negative influence on employee performance, but the impact is small. Employee performance is influenced by factors related to recruitment, selection and performance evaluation at the same time.KOPPOSINDO (Koperasi Pegawai Pos Indonesia) Salah satu fungsi sektor jasa di Kota Jakarta Pusat adalah pengawasan pengelolaan dana cadangan dan perkreditan, serta penatausahaan persewaan KBM. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui sejauh mana proses perekrutan mempengaruhi produktivitas pekerja KOPPOSINDO (Koperasi Pegawai Pos Indonesia). Penyebaran kuesioner merupakan metode utama pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini. Sebanyak 37 responden diikutsertakan dalam sampel penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh. IBM SPSS versi 25 digunakan untuk pengujian ini. Selain asumsi validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, multikolinearitas, dan heteroskedastisitas, regresi berganda, uji t, uji F, dan uji R-kuadrat diterapkan pada temuan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel sikap mempunyai pengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja karyawan, namun dampaknya kecil.
