Table of Engravers and Printers involved in the original Irish Melodies series
A study of the original series of the Irish Melodies with Symphonies and Accompaniments—as published jointly and separately by James Power (London) and William Power (Dublin)—was undertaken by Dr Sarah McCleave (School of Creative Arts) in 2013, focusing on Moore’s working method (he was a tire-less reviser and improver of his own work) and its effect on the publishing process. The digital images displayed in this online collection also supplies examples of the work of any of the named engravers or printers who contributed to the Power brothers’ series (see ‘Table of Engravers and Printers’ for an index)
