This study aims to identify which long vowel sounds (chouon) in Japanese can be easily pronounced and which are difficult for the Deli Husada Institute of Health students in Deli Tua. This research method employs voice analysis using the Praat application to evaluate the students' pronunciation. Praat was used to analyze the duration, frequency, and intensity of participants' voices. The Praat application will record, segment, and analyze the students' voices. The data consists of voice recordings from the six participants when pronouncing vocabulary containing chouon sounds. The findings indicate that there are variations in errors in the pronunciation of certain vowels, such as the vowel /u/ in "yuumei," the vowel /e/ in "meishi" and "heiya," and the vowel /o/ in "ooku," among the students of the Deli Husada Institute of Health. Words with long sounds are also rarely pronounced correctly due to a lack of practice. Vocabulary such as "obaasan," "ojiisan," and "sakkaa" is more often pronounced correctly because they are frequently used in daily learning. Participants who allocated more time to study showed a higher degree of pronunciation similarity to native speakers. Overall, the frequency of usage and conversational learning significantly influence pronunciation ability

In Indonesia, especially North Sumatra, chilli is a horticultural good that the people consume extensively. The availability and demand for red chillies in society are quite erratic; when production rises, the price of red chillies is rather low; when production falls, the price of red chillies will rise because of commodity shortage. Processing fresh chillies into chilli sauce, therefore, is one way to solve this issue. Making chillies into chilli sauce improves shelf life and sales value and makes sense for consumption, tastes great and refreshing, and accentuates the flavour of meals. Training courses on food safety for the Pulau Gambar people in Serbajadi District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, concentrated on chilli sauce processing technology and comprised the community service activities. The training sought to equip the residents with the tools required to create premium chilli sauce, which can be both a source of income and a way to support local cooking customs. Improving their understanding of food safety and processing methods will help the community to guarantee that their goods satisfy health criteria and also attract a larger market. This exercise seeks to guarantee the produced chilli sauce is fit for consumption. The approach was applied sauce. Of the 37 participants in the service activities, 100% said the outcomes were favourable; 69% (15 people) said they intended to try it themselves, and 31% said they were not sure yet

This study reviews and compares two logistics models tailored to perishable goods, focusing on the spatial and temporal dimensions of supply chain optimization. The first model proposes a population-density-based location planning framework that applies network centrality measures to determine optimal order fulfillment center locations. The second model introduces a two-warehouse inventory policy designed to handle disruption scenarios, such as lockdowns, by balancing demand variation and spoilage rates. Both models were evaluated for their methodological approaches, performance under disruption, and adaptability. The integrated review underscores the necessity of combining spatial efficiency with dynamic stock resilience to improve supply chain effectiveness for perishable goods. Findings suggest that hybrid models leveraging both geographic and temporal decision layers can significantly strengthen logistics adaptability

Theoretical Approach to the Management of Epidural Hematoma (EDH): Optimal Timing for Surgical Intervention

Introduction: Epidural hematoma (EDH) is a life-threatening condition that requires timely surgical intervention to prevent irreversible neurological damage, with early decompression within the "golden hour" being critical for better outcomes. Case Description: Two cases were discussed: Case 1, an 81-year-old female who underwent surgery within 12 hours with significant recovery, and Case 2, a 73-year-old male who showed deterioration after delayed intervention but improved following decompression within 12 hours. Discussion: Early surgical intervention prevents brain herniation and secondary brain injury. The "golden hour" concept emphasizes decompression within hours of symptom onset. Access to timely care in rural settings can delay intervention, worsening outcomes. The timing of surgery must consider individual patient factors, such as comorbidities and hematoma size. Conclusion: Optimal surgical timing, especially within the "golden hour," is critical in EDH management to prevent irreversible neurological damage. Individualized treatment plans should account for access to care and patient-specific factors for the best outcomes
