Relaxation Effect of Hand Bath and Hand Treatment Using Essential Oil : Inquest on Physiological Reaction and Subjective Response
Full text linkThe purpose of this study is to clear the relaxation effect of hand bath and hand treatment using essential
oil. The method was doing four kinds treatment; hand bath and hand treatment both using essential oil
and not using one, and then we draw a comparison between the data before and after those treatments. As
for physiological reaction, all treatment lowered systolic arterial pressure significantly after the treatments;
diastolic blood pressure became lower significantly after the hand treatment without essential oil. As for the
evaluation of emotional changes, all methods showed that the positive emotions increased and the negative
emotions decreased after the treatments. There was, however, no significant differences among four treatments.
This means that hand bath and hand treatments gives the synergetic effects of comfortable stimulus
on skin and titillation by good scent on examinees. Among subjective comments on relaxation effect, aromatic

できるが、出生に際して純粋失読症を患っており、彼自身の名前も含めて、10 語以下しか
読むことができない。われわれは、第二言語としての英語教授法と、詳細かつ専門的なフォニッ
クス（Phonics）を利用し、クラウスのような極端な純粋失読者にとって「音声を通じて読む
こと（reading via sound）」が可能かどうかを考察した。6 か月の訓練の後、クラウスの単語認

Self-monitoring tendency and objectivity in students who aspire to be preschool teachers : An inquiry into the usefulness of Revision of Scales of Ability for Early Childhood Education
Full text linkoai:sanotan.repo.nii.ac.jp:00000100The purpose of this study was to investigate whether Revision of Scales of Ability for Early
Childhood Education（ RSAECE, Akiyama 2014） was a useful tool for students who aspire to be
preschool teachers for monitoring their behavior in practice teaching. For this purpose, the students
completed the RSAECE after each of three times of teaching practice and the Revision
Self-Monitoring Scale and the Concern for Appropriateness Scale（ both made by Lennox &
Wolfe,1984） only once. Results of correlation analysis showed that all these scales had statistically
significant positive correlations. Furthermore, I analyzed the relationship between RSAECE
scores and evaluations of teaching practice and academic performance. There was a significant
relationship only between evaluations of teaching practice and schoolwork. Each time the students
did teaching practice, their RSAECE scores increased. Therefore, the RSAECE scale was
helpful in checking the appropriate behavior of student teachers, but was not able to predict
evaluations by others of their achievement.departmental bulletin pape
Coaching Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Report
Full text linkThis summer, the present writer had an opportunity to attend the Rio de Janeiro Paralympics with
Japanese national team of track and field as outside support staff (coach) and will report the details here.
The Paralympics this year was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and the schedule was for 12 days
from September 7th to 18th. In the men's T42-47class 4x100-meter relay, we won a medal for the first
time in Paralympics track and field as Japanese team.
The Olympics/Paralympics will be held in Tokyo in 2020. The sport for the physically handicapped
will gather more attentions from now on in Japan.
I would like to contribute back the experience gained through Rio de Janeiro Paralympics to support
activities for the Tokyo games in 2020 even a little.departmental bulletin pape

Full text linkStudy on original dessert recipe suggestion. 66 recipes were submitted from students.
The 14 recipes were chosen by competition. And, the 14 recipes were developed.
We chose 3 recipes from them, and we decided to serve them for tasting at the Michinoeki.
We collected the response from people who ate those desserts. It was a good opportunity for us to know

Full text linkThis article examined the meaning of“ self injury” and its prevention through a relationship with a
child with a disability who violently hit his own head. It was found that the act of hitting his head can be
considered as a way to calm emotions as well as a way to express feelings. Effective methods of
prevention were to hold his hands or wrap his hands with a towel to provide a sense of safety, and to

Full text linkThrough a study of social workers in A prefecture, I noticed the fact that activities of social workers
in A prefecture is not good enough. I conducted a survey in order that the activities of school social
workers will be more efficient than as it is. Many of them are not experienced, less than one year.
A cooperation of school social workers and prefectural officers do not work well. They have
different view points and opinions about a social work. Prefectural officers do not understand
'supervision'. Because of it, A prefecture does not have a system of supervision, Ithink.
It is necessary that prefectural officers understand the importance of school social work, and make an

A case study of community development (Machi-zukuri) : The establishment of Sano-machi-zukuri kabushiki gaisha (joint-stock corporation) and business overview in Sano City
Full text linkThis article is a case study which explains the establishment and the business outline of Sano Machizukuri
Corporation, a community development joint-stock corporation established for the purpose
of solving social problems in the city of Sano. The study was done using a fi eld research method.
The study described the following four parts of the business:
1 community development planning, including the maintenance of rows of houses and stores, for
the purpose of increasing population and the amount of visitors
2 advertising and the dissemination of information about Sano to visitors and prospective tenants to
increase working funds
3 the planning and management of new events in Sano, to revitalize the city
4 providing rental bicycle facilities for visitors
We categorized these business elements as soft business or hard, and treated Akihabara Town Management
Co. as a bench mark, based on the SPDLI model.
Finally, we proposed strategies for systematizing the elements of community development for the

Biomechanical study on the dribbling sprint motion : On difference between handball players and basketball players
Full text linkThe research intends to clarify the sprint motion and the techniques of dribbling when one controls
either a handball or a basketball by comparing them with normal running motion (sprint).
1. Sprint speed of the Group S (sprint) was shown to be the fastest, followed in order by Group H
(handball) and B (basketball).
2. The group H athletes dribble in a way that one lets the upper body lean forward, lower leg unbent
after kicking off from the ground, upper thigh going backward, and then in a retrieval phase, not letting the
upper thigh going too much forward.
3. In the case of Group B, one takes the running motion with upper body leaned greatly forward and
knees to be greatly bent to maintain low body balance, and lets legs go backward further after kicking off
from the ground.
4. In order to improve the running speed of Group B, it is important to create a wider stride while running.
5. For the group H, the significant negative relationship was shown between the smallest angle of the
knee joint at the retrieval phase and the knee angle at the moment of kicking off the ground. Also, another
significant negative relationship was recognized between the biggest upper thigh angle and the smallest
knee joint angle for the supporting leg. For Group B, the negative relationship saw between the upper body
angle at the foot landing on the ground and the smallest knee joint angle at the retrieval phase.departmental bulletin pape
