Taranto e lo sviluppo della teoria musicale greca
Get PDFItArchita e Aristosseno sono due figure di enorme importanza per la storia della teoria musicale greca tra V e IV sec. a.C. Il primo è esponente di punta del pitagorismo tarentino; il secondo, pur formatosi nel medesimo ambiente, se ne allontanerà sia geograficamente sia scientificamente, per fondare la ricerca armonica su basi apparentemente lontane dal magistero pitagorico. Nel presente contributo si riflette sui tratti comuni nel pensiero dei due studiosi, per provare e individuare uno specifico apporto magnogreco allo sviluppo della scienza armonica.EnArchytas and Aristoxenus are crucial in the history of Greek music theory in the last decades of the V cent. and the IV cent. BC. The former is an outstanding representative of Tarantine Pythagoreanism; the latter, although raised in the same environment, was to distance himself from it both geographically and scientifically, and to give the science of harmonics a new basis, apparently different from the Pythagorean doctrine. In this article a reflection is carried out on the common traits in their thought, in order to define the specific contribution of Magna Graecia, if any, to the development of ancient harmonics

Get PDFItL'articolo cerca di mettere in evidenza le principali caratteristiche dell'interpretazione del mito di Circe presentata da Gregorio di Nissa, collocandola all'interno della storia ermeneutica del passo omerico e delle altre riprese gregoriane. Il contributo prende in considerazione alcune parole ed espressioni che risultano rivelatrici dell'approccio e della riflessione di Gregorio, che in polemica con Eunomio richiama più o meno velatamente numerosi testi della tradizione classica e tecnica, rendendo la propria opera estremamente evocativa e allusiva.EnThe article attempts to highlight the main features of the interpretation of the myth of Circe presented by Gregory of Nyssa, placing it within the hermeneutic history of the Homeric passage and other Gregorian reinterpretations. The contribution considers some words and expressions that are revealing of the approach and reflection of Gregory, who in polemic with Eunomius recalls, more or less subtly, numerous texts of the classical and technical tradition, making his own work extremely evocative and allusive
Resilienza e autenticità nella formazione universitaria: evidenze da un intervento di Educazione Positiva
Get PDFRiassunto: Lo studio indaga l’efficacia di un intervento formativo fondato sull’Educazione Positiva nel potenziare resilienza e autenticità in 154 studenti universitari e dottorandi italiani. I risultati ottenuti dalla somministrazione della Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale e la Self-Determination Scale, confermano che esperienze formative orientate al benessere e all’apprendimento esperienziale favoriscono la crescita personale e la coerenza identitaria, in linea con i principi di Kolb e Seligman. L’intervento dimostra il valore pedagogico della felicità come dimensione costitutiva dell’apprendimento e come risorsa per la formazione universitaria contemporanea.Parole chiave: Apprendimento esperienziale; Formazione; Benessere Abstract: The study investigates the effectiveness of a training intervention based on Positive Education in enhancing resilience and authenticity among 154 Italian university students and PhD candidates. The results obtained from the administration of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale and the SelfDetermination Scale confirm that educational experiences focused on well-being and experiential learning foster personal growth and identity coherence, in line with the principles of Kolb and Seligman. The intervention demonstrates the pedagogical value of happiness as a constitutive dimension of learning and as a vital resource for contemporary higher education.Keywords: Experiential learning; Training; Well-bein

Get PDFItIl saggio ripercorre le vicende della chiesa francescana di Sant'Antonio a Taranto, con particolare attenzione al perduto monumento di Giovanni Antonio Orsini del Balzo. Fonti, documenti, fortuna critica e testimonianze artistiche superstiti vengono riconsiderate, consentendo di proporre una ipotesi di riconoscimento di parte del disperso monumento del Principe in una scultura, molto deteriorata, raffigurante un Guerriero, attualmente conservata nel Castello Aragonese di Taranto.EnThe essay explores the history of the Franciscan church of St. Anthony in Taranto, with particular focus on the now-lost monument dedicated to Giovanni Antonio Orsini del Balzo. Drawing upon sources, archival documents, literature and surviving artworks, this study proposes a hypothesis identifying a severely deteriorated sculpture of a Warrior, currently housed in the Aragonese Castle in Taranto, as a possible fragment of the Prince's original monument
